Einleitung

Vielen Dank für den Kauf des MULTIPLEX Lithium Battery Checker. Mit diesem Produkt halten Sie ein
effektives und zugleich einfaches Gerät in den Händen, welchen Ihnen den Umgang mit Lithium Akkus
ungemein erleichtern wird. Dieser, nach kurzer Zeit der Anwendung unverzichtbare Helfer, wird Ihnen viel
Sicherheit liefern und noch mehr Freude bei Ihrem Hobby, dem Modellsport, bereiten.

Funktionen

Der Lithium Battery Checker bietet folgende Funktionen:

1. Akku Prüfer
Er kann die Spannung jeder Zelle des Lithiumpolymer Akkus anzeigen und gibt die verbleibende
Kapazität des Akkus als prozentualen Wert an. Über die seitlichen LEDs bekommt man in
Sekundenschnelle die Information, ob der Akku voll, halbvoll oder leer ist.

2. Ortungspiepser / Modellfinder
Über den integrierten Sensor erkennt der Lithium Battery Checker ob sich das Modell in Bewegung
befindet, oder irgendwo liegt. Über die Einstellbare Schwelle kann so nach 1 Minute stillstand ein
Akustischer Signal ausgegeben werden, so dass man sein Modell im hohen Gras, oder abseits der
Flugplatzes, findet.

3. Unterspannungswarnung
Der Lithium Battery Checker kann im Flug im Modell verbleiben und gibt bei Erreichen der eingestellten
Schwelle der Zellspannung, Standard sind 3,50 Volt, eine akustische und optische Warnung. So kann
bei einem Vorbeiflug des Modells leicht erkannt werden, ob der Akku bald leer wird.

4. Info Display
Durch verschiedene Display Anzeigen kann man viele Informationen über den Akku auf einen Blick
erhalten. Gesamtspannung, Restkapazität, Zellendrift und Zellenzustand.

5. Für alle Lithium Akkus geeignet
Im Einstellungsmenü kann der verwendete Akkutyp eingestellt werden. LiPo, LiIon, LiHV und LiFe.

6. Für Links- und Rechtshänder
Im Einstellungsmenü die Anzeige des Displays gedreht werden, um die Benutzung anzupassen.

Anwendung

Verbinden Sie einfach die 9-polige XH-Buchse mit dem Balancerstecker ihres Akkus. Auch Akkus mit
dem EH Stecker können direkt eingesteckt werden. Achten Sie bitte auf die richtige Polung beim
Anschließen ihres Akkus, sonst funktioniert das Gerät nicht. Die Minusleitung befindet sich am untersten
Pin, welche mit dem Minus Symbol gekennzeichnet ist. Ein verpoltes Anschließen führt nicht zum
Schaden am Gerät.
Ist der Lithium Akku angeschlossen, zeigt das Display die einzelnen Zellspannungen und gibt über die
seitlich angebrachten LEDs eine schnelle Info ob der Akku voll, halbvoll oder leer ist.

Anleitung Version 1.0

Über die beiden Tasten S und + können Sie das Gerät bedienen. Mit + wechselt man zwischen den 3
unterschiedlichen Displayansichten. Durch 3 Sekunden langes Drücken Gelangt man ins
Einstellungsmenü, wo verschiedene Anpassungen vorgenommen werden können.

Sicherheitshinweise

Der Lithium Battery Checker ist nur für Lithium-Polymer-Akku-Packs mit maximal 8 Zellen vorgesehen.
Akkus eines anderen Typs oder einer höheren Zellenzahl können und dürfen nicht angeschlossen
werden. Während einer Messung kann sich eine Zellenspannung auf Grund des Akkus selbst und durch
die Umgebungstemperatur leicht ändern. Die Angabe der verbleibenden Kapazität des Akkus basiert auf
der Höhe der Gesamtspannung, welche der LiPo Checker ohne Last ermittelt. D.h. diese kann von der
tatsächlichen Restkapazität des Akkus deutlich abweichen. Nutzen Sie die Angabe daher nur als
Referenz! Da der Lithium Checker den Akku kontinuierlich überprüft, wird der Akku entladen. D.h. der
Checker sollte bei nichtgebrauch vom Akku getrennt werden, um ein ungewolltes Tiefentladen zu
vermeiden.
Beachten Sie:

- Schützen Sie den Lithium Checker vor Nässe. Es kann zu Fehlfunktionen durch Kurschluss kommen.

- Achten Sie darauf, die Balancerkabel des Akkus nicht einzuklemmen und einen Kurzschluss zu
erzeugen. Ein Kurzschluss führt zu einer extremen Erhitzung des Akkus, es besteht Brandgefahr.

- Trennen Sie den Akku nach dem Gebrauch vom Lithium Battery Checker.

Thank you for purchasing MULTIPLEX Lithium Battery Checker. With this product you have an effective
and simple device in your hands, which will facilitate the use of Lithium batteries immensely. This, after a
short time of application indispensable tool, will provide you with more security and more joy in your
hobbies.

Features

The Lithium Battery Checker offers the following functions:

1. Battery tester
It can display the voltage of each cell of the lithium polymer battery and indicates the remaining
capacity of the battery as a percentage value. The LEDs on the side give you the information in
seconds if the battery is full, half full or empty.

2. Location beeper
The lithium battery checker uses the integrated sensor to detect whether the model is in motion or is
lying somewhere. By means of the adjustable threshold, an acoustic signal can be output after 1 minute
of standstill, so that one finds his model in the high grass, or off the airfield.

3. Low voltage warning
The Lithium Battery Checker can remain in the model during flight and gives an acoustic and visual
warning when the cell voltage threshold is reached. The default is 3.50 volts. This way, if the model
passes by, it will be easy to see if the battery will soon run out.

4. Information display
Through various display displays you can get a lot of information about the battery at a glance. Total
voltage, residual capacity, cell drift and cell state.

5. Suitable for all kinds of lithium batteries
In the settings menu the used battery type can be adjusted. LiPo, LiIon, LiHV and LiFe is possible.

6. For left and right-handed people
In the settings menu, rotate the display of the display to adjust the usage.

How to use

Simply connect the 9-pin XH jack to the balancer plug on your battery. Even batteries with the EH plug
can be plugged in directly. Please pay attention to the correct polarity when connecting your battery,
otherwise the device will not work. The negative lead is located at the lowest pin, which is marked with the
minus symbol. A wrong connection will not damage the device.
If the lithium battery is connected, the display shows the individual cell voltages and provides a quick info
on the side-mounted LEDs whether the battery is full, half full or empty.

Use the two buttons S and + to operate the device. With + you can switch between the 3 different display
views. Press for 3 seconds to enter the settings menu where various adjustments can be made.

Safety Note and Caution

The Lithium Battery Checker is only intended for lithium polymer battery packs with a maximum of 8 cells.
Batteries of a different type or a higher number of cells can’t and must not be connected. During a
measurement, a cell voltage may change slightly due to the battery itself and the ambient temperature.
The indication of the remaining capacity of the battery is based on the total voltage which the LiPo
Checker determines without load. That This may differ significantly from the actual remaining capacity of
the battery. Use the information only for reference! As the Lithium Checker continuously checks the
battery, the battery is discharged. The checker should be disconnected from the battery when not in use
to prevent accidental over-discharging.
Note:

- Protect the Lithium Checker from getting wet. It may cause malfunction due to short circuit.

- Be careful not to pinch the battery balancers and create a short circuit. A short circuit leads to
extreme heating of the battery, there is a risk of fire.

- Disconnect the battery after use from the Lithium Battery Checker.

if liability is incurred according to statutory law on account of intentional or gross negligence.
We guarantee our products in accordance with the currently valid statutory regulations. If you wish to make a claim under
guarantee, your initial course of action should always be to contact the dealer from whom you purchased the equipment.
The guarantee does not cover faults and malfunctions which are caused by the following:

-Incorrect or incompetent use

Disposal Notes

Electrical equipment marked with the cancelled waste bin symbol must not be discarded in the standard
household waste; instead it should be taken to a suitable specialist disposal system. In the countries of the EU
(European Union) electrical equipment must not be discarded via the normal domestic refuse system (WEEE ­Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Directive 2002/96/EG). You can take unwanted equipment to your
nearest local authority waste collection point or recycling centre. There the equipment will be disposed of
correctly and at no cost to you.

courte période d'application outil indispensable, vous donnera plus de sécurité et plus de joie dans vos
hobbies.

Caractéristiques

Le Lithium Battery Checker offre les fonctions suivantes:

1. Testeur de batterie
Il peut afficher la tension de chaque cellule de la batterie au lithium polymère et indiquer la capacité
restante de la batterie sous forme de pourcentage. Les voyants latéraux vous donnent l’information en
secondes si la batterie est pleine, à moitié pleine ou vide.

2. Bip de localization intégré
Le vérificateur de batterie au lithium utilise le capteur intégré pour détecter si le modèle est en
mouvement ou couché quelque part. Au moyen du seuil réglable, un signal acoustique peut être émis
après une minute d’immobilisation, de sorte que l’on retrouve son modèle dans les hautes herbes ou
hors de l’aérodrome.

3. Avertissement de basse tension
Le contrôleur de batterie au lithium peut rester dans le modèle en vol et émet un avertissement sonore
et visuel lorsque le seuil de tension de la cellule est atteint. La valeur par défaut est 3,50 volts. De cette
façon, si le modèle passe, il sera facile de voir si la batterie sera bientôt épuisée.

4. Affichage de l'information
Grâce à divers écrans d’affichage, vous pouvez obtenir beaucoup d’informations sur la batterie en un

Comment utiliser

Connectez simplement la prise XH à 9 broches à la prise de l’équilibreur de votre batterie. Même les
batteries avec la prise EH peuvent être branchées directement. Faites attention à la polarité lorsque vous
connectez votre batterie, sinon l'appareil ne fonctionnera pas. Le fil négatif est situé sur la broche la plus
basse, marquée du symbole moins. Une mauvaise connexion n'endommagera pas l'appareil.
Si la batterie au lithium est connectée, l'écran affiche les tensions de chaque cellule et fournit une
information rapide sur les voyants latéraux si la batterie est pleine, à moitié pleine ou vide.

Utilisez les deux boutons S et + pour utiliser l'appareil. Avec +, vous pouvez basculer entre les 3
différentes vues. Appuyez sur pendant 3 secondes pour entrer dans le menu des paramètres où divers

Note de sécurité et de prudence

Le contrôleur de batterie au lithium est uniquement destiné aux batteries au lithium polymère contenant
un maximum de 8 cellules. Des piles d’un type différent ou d’un nombre plus élevé d’éléments ne peuvent
et ne doivent pas être connectées. Au cours d'une mesure, la tension d'une cellule peut légèrement varier
en raison de la batterie elle-même et de la température ambiante. L'indication de la capacité restante de
la batterie est basée sur la tension totale que le LiPo Checker détermine sans charge. Cela peut être très
différent de la capacité restante réelle de la batterie. Utilisez les informations uniquement à titre de
référence! Comme le Lithium Checker vérifie continuellement la batterie, celle-ci est déchargée. Le
vérificateur doit être déconnecté de la batterie lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé pour éviter une décharge
excessive accidentelle.

Remarque:

- Protégez le Lithium Checker de l’humidité. Cela pourrait provoquer un dysfonctionnement dû à un court-circuit.

- Veillez à ne pas pincer les équilibreurs de batterie et à créer un court-circuit. Un court-circuit entraîne un
échauffement excessif de la batterie, il y a un risque d'incendie.

- Déconnectez la batterie après utilisation du vérificateur de batterie au lithium.

Consignes de recyclages
