Subject: Model 5428 Support St and
HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE MODEL 5428 SUPPORT STAND
1. Lay the T op Frame Assembly on the floor and attach the Leg Assemblies using 1/4"-20 x 1/2" Hex Head Screws and
Gusset Plates as shown in figure 1.
2. Turn the st and upright and inst all 5/8"-11 x 3" Hex Screws in each corner (refer to figure 2).
3. Place stand in the desired location and level by adjusting the bottom leg levelers.
4. Mount the Model 50 Refrigeration Unit on the st and. Secure with 5/8"-11 x 3" Hex Screws (refer to figure 2).
5. Place the second Model 50 Refrigeration Unit on the service dolly . Secure with 5/8"-11 x 3/4" Hex Screws at each corner
as shown below.
6. Position the second Model 50 Refrigeration Unit under the support stand. Connect the flexible utilities to permit the unit to
be rolled out approximately 2 to 3 ft for service access.
7. Provide suitable means to limit roll-out distance so the flexible utility connections are not overly stressed (chain or wheel
chocks).

To Avoid Serious Injury Read the following warnings before
beginning an installation. Falure to do so may result in possible

DO Adhere to all National and Local Plumbing and Electrical Safety Codes.
DO Turn “Off” incoming electrical service switches when servicing, installing, or repairing equipment.
DO Check that all flare fittings on the carbonation tank(s) are tight. This check should be performed with a
wrench to ensure a quality seal.
DO Inspect pressure on Regulators before starting up equipment.
DO Protect eyes when working around refrigerants.
DO Use caution when handling metal surface edges of all equipment.
