Thank you for purchasing the Muku Shuttr
Shuttr is a remote camera control for your smartphone. Pairing only requires a couple of quick clicks, then you will be free to start taking photos right away.
Ever tried taking self-portraits with your smartphone but find that the view is always limited by your arm length? Ever tried taking a group photo but one person is always out of shot? Ever tried taking a photo with your kids, but they won't stay in front of the camera for more than 2 seconds?
Shuttr is designed to solve all of these problems. Attach it to your keychain and have it always ready for whenever a great photo opportunity presents itself.
PRODUCT LAYOUT
PAIRING (First time only)
Switch on Shuttr, making sure the LED light is flashing. DO NOT press the CAMERA button. Set the OS switch on your Shuttr to your correct OS on your smartphone. Open the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone and confirm that Bluetooth is turned ON. If using an iPhone, click “Shuttr” in the DEVICES section. If using an Android handset, click SCAN and then select the device. The LED light should be on. Open the camera app on your smartphone and take a photo by pressing the CAMERA button.
TAKING PHOTOS Make sure the Bluetooth is turned ON on your smartphone. Switch on Shuttr, and the LED should be flashing. Press CAMERA to connect to your smartphone. The LED light should be ON and the bluetooth on your smartphone should now show a connected status. Turn off Shuttr after use.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
What app do I need to download or purchase to use Shuttr?
In most cases, you do NOT need to install any apps. Shuttr works with the native camera app that comes with most compatible smartphones.
Do I need to pair up every time?
For iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPad Mini, iPod touch) and most of the highend Android phones (including Samsung Galaxy S3, Note 2, LG Nexus 4), you only need to pair once. The next time you use Shuttr, just press the CAMERA button one to connect to the Bluetooth and you are ready to take another photo.
Can I use Shuttr with more than one Smartphone?
Yes. You can pair Shuttr up with another smartphone when it is turned on and the LED is flashing. If you wish to use it with the first original smartphone however, you will need to pair them up again.
How far can I take a photo remotely with Shuttr?
It uses Bluetooth 3.0. The range is approximately 10 metres.
How long will the battery last?
Shuttr is designed to work for up to 2 years without battery replacement if used properly. However, if you DO NOT turn off Shuttr after each use to let it go back into sleep mode, then the battery will drain in about a month. Please remember to turn Shuttr off after each use. In the case of the battery running out, you can replace it with another CR2025 battery, which is easily obtainable from most stationary and electronic stores. Instructions on how to replace the battery are shown below.

iOS Shuttr works on all iOS 5.0+ devices (current iOS version is 7) with a camera on it. iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 5/5s/5c, iPad 2/3, iPad Mini, iPad with Retina Display, iPad Air, iPod touch 4th generation and above.
Android Samsung Galaxy S4, S3, Note 3, Note 2, Note Tab 2, Note 8, Note 10.1 (Shuttr may NOT work with low-end or older Samsung models including S2, Note 1, S3 mini etc.. If you have one of these models or similar, we DO NOT recommend you use Shuttr)
Moto X Nexus 4, 5 and all newer versions with Bluetooth 3.0+ and Android 4.1+ Sony Xperia Z (Works only with the Shuttr camera app installed) HTC New One and X+ (Works only with the Shuttr camera app installed)
