Please change the AC adaptor plug to suit the mains socket where you will use the unit.

1. While pulling the tab at the side of the AC adaptor plug, pull the plug out at an angle to remove it.

2. Attach the concave par t of the plug (A) to th e convex part (B) on the inside opposite the tab.

Read this before operation

When a disc is inserted into the unit, do not tilt the

unit. Doing so might cause a malfunction.

Before the unit is moved, or covered with a paper

or cloth for a moving, be sure to remove the disc from the unit. If the unit is moved with a disc inside, it might cause a malfunction.

carefully. Avoi d placing it in direc t sunlight or close to a source of heat. You should also avoid locations that are subject to vibration, excessive dust, heat, cold, or moisture. Doing so might result in discoloration or deformation, or cause a malfunction.

When the unit is turned on, if a T V is turned on

When inserting the battery into the remote control unit, check that the polarities (positive “+” and negative “-”) are correctly positioned, and insert it according to the indication on the battery case.

Discs

Discs that can be played on this unit

CDs that bear the “COMPACT disc DIGITAL AUDIO” logo.

CD-R and CD-RW discs that have been correctly recorded in the audio CD format and finalized. Finalized CD-R and CD-RW discs that contain MP3/ WMA files.

This unit can play back the above-mentioned disc types. It cannot play back the discs of the other types.

Caution:

Playbac k of any other typ e of disc could cause loud noise and damag e to speaker s as well as harm hearing. Never play back any other type of disc.

Cop y-protected discs and other discs that do

not conform to the CD standard might not play correctly in this unit. If you use such discs in this unit, MUJI LIMITED and its subsidiaries will not be responsible for any consequences or guarantee the quality of reprodu ction. If you experien ce problems with such non- sta ndard disc s, you should contact their issuers.

About CD-R/CD-RW discs

This unit can play back CD-R and CD-RW discs that have been recorded in the audio CD format (CD-DA). Also can playback MP3 and WMA files recorded into the CD-R/CD-RW discs.

Discs created by a CD recorder must be finalized

before use with this unit.

conditions, playback of some discs might not be possible. Please see the manual for the device that you used to create the disc.

If you are uncertain about the handling of a CD-R

or CD-RW disc, please contact the seller of the disc dir ectly.

Caution

Do not play any disc that is warped, deforme d

or dama ged. Pla ying such discs coul d cau se irreparable harm to the playing mechanisms.

Use a sof t oil -bas ed felt-ti ppe d pen to write

information on the label side. Never use a ballpoint or hard-t ipp ed pen, as this coul d cause damage to the recorded side.

Never use a stabilizer. Using commercially available

CD sta bilize rs with this unit will dama ge the mechanisms and cause them to malfunction.

Do not use irregularly-shaped discs (octagonal,

heart-shaped, business card size, etc.). CDs with these shapes could damage the unit.

Handling precautions

Always insert a disc with the label side up. Only

one side of a Compact Disc can be played.

If there are scratches, fingerprints, or stains on the

recorded side (non-label side), an error may occur when attempting to play back a disc. Handle the disc carefully.

To remove a disc from its storage case, press down

on the center of the case and lif t the disc out, holding it carefully by the edges.

MP3/WMA Compatibility

Storage precautions

Discs should be returned to their cases after use to

avoid dust and scratches that could cause the laser pickup to “skip”.

Do not expose discs to direct sunlight or high-

temperature and humidity for extended periods. Long exposure to high temp eratures will warp discs.

CD-R and CD-RW discs are more sensitive to the

effects of heat and ultraviolet rays than ordinary CDs. It is impor tant that they are not stored in locations where they will be exposed to direct sunlight. They should also be kept away from sources of heat, such as radiators and heatgenerating electrical devices.

Dirt on the disc may cause the sound to skip or

reduce the sound quality. Be sure to keep the discs clean.

Maintenance

If a disc becomes dirty, wipe its surface radially

from the center hole outward towards the outer edge with a soft, dry cloth.

This unit can play MP3/WMA files recorded on a CD-R, CD-RW discs.

This unit can play back monaural and stereo MP3

files that are in the MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3 format with a sampling rate of 16 kHz or 48 kHz and a bit rate of 32 to 320 kbps.

WMA file must have a sampling rate of 32 kHz, 44.1

kHz or 48 kHz, and a bit-rate of 48 to 192 kbps.

This unit cannot play copyright protected files.

Cautions when preparing MP3/ WMA files using a computer or other device

Always include the extension in the file name. This

unit recognizes MP3 files by their “.mp3”, and WMA files by their “.wma” file extensions.

Always close the session (complete disc creation).

This unit cannot play discs if the session has not been closed.

If the disc contains more than 999 files or 99

folders, this unit cannot play it back correctly.

Never clean discs using chemicals such as record

sprays, antistatic sprays and fluids, and thinner. Such chemicals will do irreparable damage to the disc’s plastic surface.

Notes on using the remote control unit

Even if th e re mote contro l is use d with in its

ef fective ope rat ion range (5 m/16'), the unit might not respond to the remote if there are any obstacles between them.

The remote control might not function if sunlight

or other bright light shines directly on the remote sensor of the unit.

The remote control might function incorrectly if

it is operated near other produc ts that generate infrare d rays or if other remote control devices that use infrared rays are operated near the unit. Likewise, the other products might also function incorrectly.

Before using the remote control

When you use the remote control for the first time, pull out the insulation sheet from the rear.

Battery replacement

The battery has been installed in the remote control unit when shipped from the factory. To replace the battery, pull out the battery tray from the rear, put the lithium-ion battery (CR2025) in with the “+” side facing up, and insert the tray again.

Attach the wall-fixing plate to the

wall.

Choose a sturdy wall, and install the wall-fixing plate using the supplied screws or other fixings.

Make sure that the wall-fixing plate does not feel

shaky or loose.

Caution

Be very careful when attaching the wall -fixing plate to the wall.

When attaching to walls made of plasterboard or

concrete construction etc. please make sure that you use proprietary fixings that are appropriate for the wall. In particular, it is very hazardous to use regular wood screws on walls that are made of plasterboard or a similar type of material.

Extend the FM antenna.

Battery replacement time

If the distance required between the remote control unit and main unit decreases, or the remote control unit's buttons don't work, the battery is exhausted. In this case, replace the battery with a new one. For information about the collection of bat teries, please contact your local municipality, your waste disposal service or the place where you purchased them.

Unwind the FM antenna on the rear, and extend it.

Listening to a Disc

Insert the CD into the unit.

Fix the CD onto the central hub of the unit.

Caution

Fix the CD firmly into the unit until you hear a click. The CD will spin ver y fast, so it is extremely hazardous if the CD is not inserted correctly into the unit.

Be careful not to press the CD too hard when you

fix it. Doing so may cause scratches on the CD.

la chaleur et aux rayons ultraviolets que les CD ordinaires. Il est important qu'ils ne soient pas stockés dans des endroits où ils seront exposés à la lumière directe du soleil. Ils devraient aussi être tenus à l'écart des sources de chaleur telles que les radiateurs et les appareils électriques.

Les saletés sur le disque peuvent provoquer des

Cet appareil peut lire les fichiers mono et stéréo

MP3 qui sont dans la norme MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3 avec un taux d'échantillonnage de 16 ou 48kHz et un débit de 320 kbit/s ou moins.

Fichier WMA doit avoir un taux d'échantillonnage

de 32, 44,1 ou 48kHz, et un débit de 192 kbit/s ou moins.

Cette unité ne peut pas lire les fichiers protégés

par des droits d'auteur.

Avant d'utiliser la télécommande

Lo rsqu e vous utili sez la télé comm and e pour la

première fois, retirez la feuille de protection à l'arrière.

Remplacement de la pile

La batterie a été installée dans l'unité de contrôle à

distance à l'expédition de l'usine.

Pour remplacer la pile, retirez le support de batterie

à l'arrière, mettre la batterie au lithium-ion (CR2025)

avec le côté “+” vers le hau t, et insé rez le bac à

nouveau.

Fixez la plaque murale de fixation

au mur.

Choisissez un mur solide et installer la plaque murale de fixation à l'aide des vis à bois ou d'autres fixations.

Assurez-vous que le plaque de fixation n'est pas

fragilisé ou cassé.

Prudence

Soyez très prudent lors de la fixation de la plaque murale de fixation au mur.

Lors de la fixation sur des murs en plaques de

plâtre ou d'une construction en béton, etc merci de s'assurez que vous utilisez les bonnes fixations. En particulier, il est très dangereux d'utiliser des vis à bois ordinaires sur les murs qui sont faites de plaques de plâtre ou d'un même type de matériel.

Déployez l'antenne FM.

Temps de remplacement de la pile

Si la distance nécessaire entre l'unité de

télécommande et l'unité principale baisse, la batterie

est épuisée. Dans ce cas, remplacez la pile par une

ne uve. Pour plus d' informa tion s sur la col lecte

des piles, s'il vous plaît comm uniquer avec votre

municipalité, votre service d'élimination des déchets

ou l'endroit où vous les avez achetés.

Déroulez l'antenne FM à l'arrière et l'étendre.

Insérer un disque dans le lecteur.

Fixer le CD sur le moyeu central du lecteur CD.

Prudence

Fixer solidement le CD dans le lecteur jusqu'à ce que vous entendiez un clic. Le CD tournera très vite, il est donc extrêmement dangereux si le CD n'est pas correctement insérée dans le lecteur.

Faites attention à ne pas appuyer trop fort sur le

CD lorsque vous le fixer. Cela peut provoquer des rayures sur le CD.

No incline el aparato si tiene un CD dentro, ya que

podría provocar un mal funcionamiento.

Antes de mover el aparato o cubrirlo con un papel

o paño para moverlo, asegúrese de quitar el CD del interior. Si mueve el aparato con un CD dentro, puede provocar su mal funcionamiento.

Elija cuidadosamente el lugar donde instalar el

Este aparato puede reproducir archivos MP3/WMA grabados en CD-R, CD-RW.

Este aparato puede reproducir archivos MP3 mono

y estéreo que estén en formato MPEG -1 Au dio Layer 3 con una tasa de muestreo de 16 o 48 kHz y una tasa de bits de 320 kbps o inferior.

del archivo. Este aparato reconoce los archivos MP3 por su extensión “.mp3”, y los WMA por su extensión “.wma”.

Cierre siempre la sesión (complete la creación del

CD). Este aparato no puede reproducir el CD si no se ha cerrado la sesión.

Si el CD cont iene má s de 999 archivos o 99

ca rpetas, el ap arato no podr á repro ducir los correctamente.

No limpie nunca los CD con productos químicos

Notas sobre el uso del mando a distancia

Aunque utilice el mando a distancia dentro de

su ran go operativo (5 m), la unidad podría no responder si hay obstáculos entre ellos.

Puede que el mando a distancia no funcione si la

luz del sol u otra luz brillante da directamente al sensor remoto del aparato.

El mando a distancia puede funcionar mal si se

acciona cerca de otros aparatos que generen rayos infrarrojos o si se utilizan otros mandos a distancia con rayos infrarrojos cerca del aparato. Del mismo modo, los de más aparato s también pu e d en funcionar mal.

Antes de utilizar el mando a distancia

Al utilizar el mando a distancia por primera vez, retire la hoja aislante de la parte posterior.

Sustitución de la pila

La pila viene instalada en el mando a distancia de fábrica. Para sustituir la pila, tire de la tapa posterior, coloque la pila de ión de litio (CR2025) con el lado “+” hacia arriba, y vuelva a introducir la tapa.

Ajuste el soporte mural a la pared.

Elija una pared consistente e instale en ella el soporte usando los tornillos de madera y otros elementos de fijación.

Asegúrese de que el sop orte mural no quede

suelto.

Atención

Tenga mucho cuidado cuando fije el soporte a la pared.

Cuando se fije a paredes de yeso, hormigón, etc.,

asegúrese de que usa los elementos de fijación adecuados para esa pared. Es bastante peligroso usar tornillos de madera normales en paredes de yeso o similar.

Extienda la antena FM.

Tiempo de sustitución de la pila

Si se reduce la distancia necesaria entre el mando a distancia y la unidad principal, es que la pila está gastada. En este caso, debe sustituirla por una nueva. Para más información sobre la eliminación de pilas y/ o baterías, póngase en contacto con el ayuntamiento de su ciudad, el servicio de recogida de residuos o la tienda donde las compró.

Orden de reproducción MP3/WMA

Los archivos MP3/WMA de un CD se pueden guardar en carpetas del mismo modo que se gestionan los archivos en un ordena dor. Además , una carp eta puede contener a su vez varias carpetas.

Esto es un ejemplo de la estructura de archivos y carpetas de un CD MP3/WMA, con el orden de las carpetas y el orden de reproducción de los archivos ( 1 a 7 ).

El orden de reprodu cción que aparece en el

esquema anterior puede variar en función de la manera de añadir, borrar o mover archivos o carpetas.

El aparato está demasiado cerca de un televisor

El aparato incorpora un microordenador y puede que a veces no funcione correctamente debido al ruido, etc. de alrededor. En este caso, desenchufe el adaptador CA de la toma de corriente y espere un rato antes de volver a enchufarlo. Vuelva a poner en marcha el aparato.

Mantenimiento

Si la unidad prin cipal o el mando a di stanc ia se ensucian, límpielos con un paño suave o con un jabón líquido suave y diluido. No utilice benceno o disolvente, ya que podrían dañar la superficie del aparato.

Riporre i CD nella custodia dopo ogni utilizzo per

evitare graffi o danneggiamenti.

alte temperature e ai raggi ultravioletti rispetto ai normali CD. E' molto importante conser varli lontano dalla luce diretta del sole. Devono essere inoltre tenuti lontano da font i di calore, quali radiatori, generatori di calore o dispositivi elettrici.

Mantenere i dischi puliti per evitare cattiva qualità

del suono o altri difetti.

Manutenzione

Se il CD è sporco, pulire con un panno asciutto e

morbido dal centro verso l'esterno.

Non pulire mai con prodotti chimici come record

Quando si utilizza il telecomando per la prima volta,

estrarre il foglio isolante dalla parte posteriore.

Sostituzione batteria

Assicurarsi che la piastra sia ben fissata al muro.

Fare molta attenzione quando si collega la piastra alla parete.

Utilizzare fissaggi appropriati nel caso di pareti in

cartongesso o cemento. In modo particolare, sono pericolose viti per legno su pareti di cartongesso.

Estendere l'antenna FM.

Srotolare l'antenna sul retro e estenderla.
