DANGER
1. Failure to use hydraulic hoses
labeled and certied as non-
conductive when using hydraulic
tools on or near electrical lines may
result in death or serious injury.
Before using hoses labeled and
certied as non-conductive on
or near electrical lines, be sure
each hose is maintained as non-
conductive. Each hose should be
regularly tested for electrical current
leakage in accordance with your
safety department instructions.
• Flow Range 7-9 gpm/ 26-34 lpm
• Motor Speed (without load)
61 rpm at 8 gpm
• Pressure 1500 psig (105 barg)
2. A hydraulic leak or rupture may
cause oil injection in the body or
cause other severe personal injury.
a) DO NOT exceed specied ow and
pressure for this tool. Excess ow
or pressure may cause a leak or
rupture.
b) DO NOT exceed rated working
pressure of hydraulic hose used
with this tool. Excess pressure may
cause a leak or rupture.
c) Check hook, hose, couplers and
connectors daily for leaks. DO
NOT feel for leaks with your hands.
Contact with a leak may result in
severe personal injury.
d) DO NOT lift or carry tool by the
hose(s). DO NOT abuse hose. DO
NOT use kinked, torn or damaged
hose.

properly connected to the tool before
pressurizing system. Reversing
tool operation can result in severe
personal injury and/or equipment
damage.
4. DO NOT connect closed-center
tools to open-center hydraulic
systems. This may cause extreme
system heat and/or severe personal
injury.
DO NOT connect open-center tools
to closed-center hydraulic systems.
May result in loss of other hydraulic

Mueller® H-607 Power Operator (Parker Motor)
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Be sure to read and understand the
operating instructions for the Mueller
Drilling Machine used in conjunction with
the H-607 Power Operator.
To connect the H-607 Power Operator to
the Mueller Drilling Machine:
1. When using the CL-12 machine,
loosen the thumb screw holding the
lifting yoke and pivot in place. Remove
these parts for future use.
When using the C1-36 machine, loosen
the thumb screw on the pivot base
attached to the front bearing plate of the
drilling machine. Remove pivot and keep
for future use.
2. Position the H-607 Power Operator
over the pivot base and install the pivot
pin supplied with the H-607 Power
Operator.
3. Tighten the thumb screw to retain
the pivot pin.
4. Connect the H-607 Power Operator
to the hydraulic system, observing the
precautions provided on the previous
page.
The H-607 Power Operator MUST be
connected correctly to the hydraulic
system for the motor to turn in the
correct direction, and to prevent
possible equipment damage to the
motor or cutter, or severe personal
injury. The correct rotation is to drive
the machine spindle clockwise.
5. Turn on the hydraulic system and
momentarily activate the valve on the
H-607 Power Operator to allow the
motor drive square to align with the
square on the machine drive spindle.
The motor should drop into place.
6. Swing the eyebolt on the Drilling
Machine up between the ears on the
base of the H-607 Power Operator
– the washer should be on top of the
ears. Tighten the wing nut.
The directional control valve on the
H-607 Power Operator is detented,
and will remain in the ON position
when the valve lever is moved to the
ON position.
NOTE: Drilling machine must come
to a complete stop before reversing
direction of rotation. Failure to come
to a complete stop may damage
motor and/or machine and void
warranty.
