The purpose of this memo is to inform you that TORZEN™ U4820L NC01 PA66 RESIN (NPD-003),
complies with the specifications and requirements of 21 C.F.R. §177.1500 (“Nylon resins”) and may be
used to produce articles which are intended for use in the processing and handling of food and such use
is in full compliance with the United States (US) Federal Food, Drug a nd Cosmetic Act, and all applicable
US food additive regulations and US Food Contact Notifications.
Please note that responsibility for evaluating the finished food-contact article for conformance with US
FDA requirements lies with the manufacturer of such article.
We are providing this information at your request and, as such, nothing in this letter should be deemed to
be, or construed as, any representation, guarantee or warranty regarding such product or its
characteristics, uses, suitability, safety, efficacy, hazards or health effects.
