Thank you for purchasing the MTX Audio iX2 high quality high definition high
bass head-phone. The iX2 is designed to add a deeper dimension and bring your
music to life no matter where you are. Whether you are listening to your portable
music device, smartphone, or tablet, the iX2 delivers crystal clear sound wherever

Remote and Mic :

The remote and mic are supported only by iPod nano (4th generation or later),
iPod classic (120GB, 160GB), iPod touch (2nd generation or later), iPhone 3GS or
later, and iPad. The remote is supported by iPod shuffle (3rd generation or later).
Audio is supported by all iPod models and iPad.
Phone mode : Click (>ıı) to answer an incoming call, click again to hang up , click
(+) to increase the volume level, click (-) to decrease the volume level.
Music mode : Click (+) to increase the volume level, click (-) to decrease the vol­ume level, click (>ıı) once for play/pause, click twice to skip forward, click (>ıı)
three times to skip back.

How to tell left from right :

1. “Left” and “Right” are written on the grey aluminum brushed ring on each
headphone

2. At the back of the left headphone, there is a step you can feel with your
fingers. There is no step on the right side.

Play loud, not stupid !

MTX wants you to enjoy your iX2’s and your hearing for a long time. Excessive ex­posure to loud volumes can damage your hearing. The United States Department
of Labor recommends not exceeding the following recommendations:

90db : maximum 8 hours / day
92dB : maximum 6 hours / day
95db : maximum 4 hours / day
97db : maximum 3 hours / day
100db : maximum 2 hours / day

102db : maximum 90 minutes / day
105db : maximum 60 minutes / day
110db : maximum 30 minutes / day
115db : maximum less than 15 minutes / day
120db : immediate danger, 0 minutes / day

Quad Speaker Design :

Most common in-ear headphone are using 5mm drivers. To make
the iX2 sound quality exceptionnal, we used a high quality Ø5mm
speaker for the mids and highs, plus an incredible 8mm powerfull
subwoofer low frequency driver in each headphone. Sound quali­ty is just amazing. Boom !

Tangle Free cable :

The iX2 audio cable features a tangle free design that allows you
to remove your iX2 from the carrying case or your pocket without
worrying about it being knotted.

Aluminum headphones, remote and plugs :

The enclosures, the 3.5mm connectors on the audio cables as well
as the remote control are constructed of durable aluminum pro­viding increased reliability as well as excellent aesthetics.

Durable protective carrying case included.
