INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR – Mr. Gasket Part No. 9710
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION.
NOT FOR USE WITH FUEL INJECTED SYSTEMS.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Mr. Gasket Fuel Pressure Regulator #9710 is an adjustable fuel pressure regulator designed for use on fuel
systems equipped with a carburetor using 1/4”, 5/16” or
3/8” I.D. fuel lines, not exceeding 8 PSI.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Step 1
Tighten brass fittings so threads are fully engaged into
fuel regulator. Do not over-tighten fittings or fuel leaks
may result. NOTE: For a positive seal, use Mr. Gasket
Part No. 2842G thread sealing tape.
Step 2
After installing fuel regulator, start engine and check fuel
line and connections. All connections should be leak
proof to prevent a potential fire hazard or explosion.
NOTE: Fuel pressure adjustment is from 1 to 6 lbs.

MR. GASKET LIMITED NINETY (90) DAY WARRANTY
Mr. Gasket which includes ACCEL, Hays, Lakewood,
Mallory and Mr. Gasket product lines, warrants its products
only to the original purchaser at retail to be free from
defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90
days from the date of original retail purchase, except that
the following products have longer warranty periods:
WHO IS COVERED:
The warranty extends to original purchaser at retail only,
with a proof of purchase.
WHAT IS COVERED:
All parts which are defective in materials or workmanship
on original installation only, subject to the following:
WHAT IS NOT COVERED:
1. Products which have been subjected to abuse, accident,
alteration, modification, improper installation, improper
operational adjustments, tampering, negligence,misuse, or
if repaired or serviced by anyone other than Mr. Gasket.
2. Actual or alleged labor, transportation or other incidental
charges.
3. Actual or alleged consequential damages incurred by
use of this product.
WHAT WE WILL DO:
Mr. Gasket at its election, will either repair or replace all
defective parts free of charge.
WHAT YOU MUST DO FOR THE WARRANTY SERVICE:
In the event that the original purchaser detects a defect
in the material or workmanship, the product(s) in question
must be returned by the original retail purchaser to the
place of original purchase for warranty determination. In the
event that the purchaser does not receive satisfaction from
the place of original purchase or in the event there are any
questions with regard to this limited warranty, please contact the Technical Service Dept., Mr. Gasket, 10601 Memphis Ave., #12, Cleveland, OH 44144, or call (216) 688-8300
ext. 5. Do not send alleged defective parts to Mr. Gasket
without prior approval to do so. If such approval is obtained, the defective part and proof of purchase should be
sent, postage prepaid, to Mr. Gasket, at the above address.
NO OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IS
APPLICABLE TO THE PRODUCTS OR MR. GASKET.
THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE
EXPRESS WARRANTY HEREIN. MR. GASKET SHALL
NOT BE LIABLE FOR THE LOSS OF USE OF THE
PRODUCT, INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OR ANY OTHER
DAMAGES, DIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL, ARISING
OUT OF THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE,THE
PRODUCT OR FOR ANY BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE APPLICABLE TO THIS
PRODUCT.

INFORMACIÓN GENERAL
El regulador de presión de combustible Mr. Gasket N.º
9710 es un regulador de presión de combustible ajustable diseñado para usar en los sistemas de combustible
equipados con un carburador usando líneas de combustible con D.I. de 6,3 mm, 7,9 mm o 9,5 mm (¼ pulg., 5/16
pulg. o 3/8 pulg.), sin exceder los 0,55 bares (8 PSI).
PROCEDIMIENTO DE INSTALACIÓN
Paso 1
Apriete los adaptadores de latón para que las roscas
queden totalmente introducidas en el regulador de combustible. No apriete los adaptadores demasiado ya que
se pueden producir fugas de combustible. NOTA: para
que quede bien sellado, use la cinta de sellado de
rosca Mr. Gasket, pieza N.º 2842G.
Paso 2
Después de instalar el regulador de combustible, encienda el motor y verifique la línea de combustible y las
conexiones. Todas las conexiones deben ser a prueba
de fugas para evitar un posible riesgo de incendio o explosión. NOTA: el ajuste de la presión de combustible
es de 0,07 a 0,4 bares (1 a 6 lbs.).

Mr. Gasket, que incluye las líneas de productos ACCEL,

estarán libres de defectos de materiales y mano de obra

fueron reparados o recibieron servicio por cualquier otra
compañía que no sea Mr. Gasket.
2. Cargos por mano de obra y transporte reales o supues-
tos u otros cargos incidentales.
3. Daños indirectos reales o supuestos en los que se
incurrieron al usar este producto.
QUÉ HAREMOS:
Mr. Gasket a su elección, reparará o reemplazará todas
las piezas defectuosas sin cargo.
QUÉ DEBE HACER PARA OBTENER EL SERVICIO DE
LA GARANTÍA:
En caso de que el comprador original detecte un defecto
en el material o la mano de obra, deberá devolver el (los)
producto(s) en cuestión al lugar de compra original para
determinar si está(n) cubierto(s) por la garantía. En caso
de que el lugar de compra original no responda satisfactoriamente al comprador, o en caso de que tenga alguna
pregunta con respecto a esta garantía limitada, póngase
en contacto con el Departamento de servicio técnico de
Mr. Gasket, Inc. en 10601 Memphis Ave., #12, Cleveland,
OH 44144, o llame al (216) 688-8300, ext. 5.
No envíe las piezas supuestamente defectuosas a Mr.
Gasket sin la aprobación previa para hacerlo. Si obtiene
dicha aprobación, debe enviar la pieza defectuosa y el
comprobante de compra, con el franqueo pagado, a Mr.
Gasket a la dirección anterior.
NO SE EXTIENDE NINGUNA OTRA GARANTÍA, EXPRESA
NI IMPLÍCITA, A LOS PRODUCTOS NI A MR. GASKET. LA
DURACIÓN DE TODA GARANTÍA IMPLÍCITA, INCLUIDAS
LAS GARANTÍAS IMPLÍCITAS DE COMERCIABILIDAD E
IDONEIDAD PARA UN PROPÓSITO EN PARTICULAR, SE
LIMITA A LA DURACIÓN DE LA GARANTÍA EXPRESA EN
LA PRESENTE. MR. GASKET NO SERÁ RESPONSABLE
POR LA PÉRDIDA DE USO DEL PRODUCTO,
INCONVENIENTES, PÉRDIDA O CUALQUIER OTRO
DAÑO, DIRECTO O INDIRECTO, QUE SURJA DEL USO
O INCAPACIDAD PARA USAR EL PRODUCTO, NI DEL
INCUMPLIMIENTO DE UNA GARANTÍA EXPRESA O
IMPLÍCITA, INCLUIDAS LAS GARANTÍAS IMPLÍCITAS DE
