Chrome-Plated Exhaust Manifold Covers

1. Remove the two (2) center bolts of each exhaust manifold.
2. Place washers over each bolt and then through the exhaust
manifold cover. Slide one spacer over each bolt so they will
fit between the exhaust manifold and cover (see diagram.)
3. Holding bolts and spacers in place, simply guide bolts into
the exhaust manifold. Snug bolts finger-tight.
4. Torque bolts to manufacturer’s specifications. Use anti-seize to
lubricate threads and torque to approximately 25 foot pounds.
If anti-seize is not used, dry threads require 33 foot pounds
NOTE: The bolts included in this kit are for the most commonly
used Chevrolet exhaust manifolds. If the bolts supplied do
not fit your particular application, replace them with bolts
of at least grade 5 specification.
