IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and/or injury
to persons, basic safety precautions should always be
followed when using electrical appliances, including the
following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE
MACHINE.
2. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse
cord, plugs or machine in water or in any other
liquid.
3. Close adult supervision is necessary when this
appliance is used by or near children.
4. Press START/STOP button and unplug from outlet
when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the
appliance to cool before installing or removing parts
and before cleaning the appliance.
5. Avoid contacting moving parts.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord
or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has
been damaged in any manner. Return this appliance
only to the nearest Authorized Service Center for
examination, repair or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not
recommended for Mr. Coffee® products may cause
hazards or injuries.
8. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
9. Do not let the appliance cord hang over edge of
table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10. Check stainless steel bowl for presence of foreign
objects before using.
11. Do not place this appliance on or near a hot gas or
electric burner or in a heated oven.

12. To disconnect, press the START/STOP button, then
remove the plug from the wall outlet.
13. Do not use the appliance for other than intended
household use.
WARNING! To reduce the risk of fire or
electric shock, do not remove any service
covers. There are no user serviceable
parts inside the Burr Mill. Only authorized
personnel should repair the Burr Mill.
14. PRECAUTIONS
l Do not remove Cover until blade has completely
stopped.
l Do not attempt operation without the cover
being in place.
l Do not immerse the motorized base or blade
in liquid, or place in dishwasher. Damage to
unit will occur if submerged in liquid. Only the
transparent top cover may be immersed.
l Do not operate this machine continuosly for
more than 4 batches. Allow machine to cool
down for 10 minutes after every 4 batches.
l Do not attempt to chop ice.

INTRODUCTION
Welcome and congratulations on the purchase of your new
MR. COFFEE® Coffee Mill. Your new Coffee mill will wake up
with you in the morning and provide you breaks and treats
during your hectic daily activities. How you enjoy your MR.
COFFEE® Coffee Mill is up to you!
SPECIAL CORD SET INSTRUCTIONS
1. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce
the hazards resulting from a person or pet becoming
entangled in, or tripping over, a longer cord.
2. An extension cord may be purchased and used if care is
exercised in its use.
3. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating
of the extension cord must be at least 10 amps and 120
volts. The resulting extended cord must be arranged
so that it will not drape over a countertop or tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over
accidentally.
4. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
modify the plug in any way.
5. You can customize the length of the power cord so that
it is the exact length you desire. To increase the length of
the power cord: grasp the power cord (not the power
plug) and gently lift it out of the slot, then pull it away
from the Coffee mill. To decrease the length of the power
cord: Grasp the power cord (not the power plug), lift it
out of the slot and gently feed it into the Coffee mill.

INTRODUCTION
Unlock the fresh ground flavor of roasted coffee
beans with your new Mr. Coffee® coffee mill. For the
best results, please read the following instructions
before you begin using this appliance.
1. Before you plug in your coffee mill, wipe the stainless
steel grinding bowl, blades and cover with a lint free
cloth.
2. Use this coffee mill to grind only coffee beans. Residue
from grinding other foods will combine with the
delicate oils of the coffee beans and affect the flavor of
your coffee.
HOW TO GRIND THE BEANS
1. Remove the cover and fill the grinding bowl with coffee
beans according to the following chart:

Note: This coffee mill grinds up to 11 tablespoons of
whole coffee beans.
2. Place the cover on the coffee mill.
3. Plug in unit.
4. Hold the cover firmly into place (Figure
B.) Be sure that the safety switch is in its
track in order to operate this unit.
5. Press down on the safety switch
according to the following grind time
chart:

For smaller batches of beans use less grind time.
6. When desired grind has be obtained, release the safety
switch and wait 10 seconds for blades to stop. DO NOT
REMOVE COVER UNTIL BLADES COME TO A COMPLETE
STOP.
7. Unplug the unit. With one hand securing the cover, turn
the coffee mill upside down and tap the cover lightly
to insure that all of the coffee grounds have fallen into
the cover.
8. While the unit is still upside down, carefully remove the
cover filled with the ground coffee and transfer the
grounds to your Coffee mill.

GRINDING TIPS AND GRINDING TIME
1. You’ll need no more than 30 seconds to produce any
coffee grind you desire.
2. Your coffee mill needs to cool off after each 60
seconds of use. This cooling off period protects your
ground coffee from becoming overheated before it’s
brewed.
3. Coffee grounds left in your coffee mill can become stale
and affect the flavor of freshly ground coffee. Avoid
this by removing any leftover coffee grounds from the
grinding bowl.
4. Don’t grind the coffee too fine. Paper coffee filters can
clog and cause the water and grounds to overflow.
5. Vary the grinding time to suit your tastes and the type
of beans you grind.
CLEANING
1. Unplug your coffee mill.
2. DO NOT PLACE THIS COFFEE MILL IN WATER. DO NOT
IMMERSE THE BLADES OR MOTOR BASE IN WATER.
3. Remove the coffee mill cover and wash in warm sudsy
water. The cover is not dishwasher safe.
4. Use a clean cloth or paper towel to remove any
remaining grounds from the grinding bowl.
5. Be sure to clean your coffee mill completely after each
use.
6. Do not try to oil or sharpen the blades. The blades are
permanently lubricated and never need sharpening.
ANY SERVICING OF THIS APPLIANCE SHOULD BE
PERFORMED ONLY BY AN AUTHORIZED MR. COFFEE
SERVICE CENTER.

WARRANTY INFORMATION
1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Sunbeam Products, Inc. doing business as Jarden Consumer
Solutions or if in Canada, Sunbeam Corporation (Canada)
Limited doing business as Jarden Consumer Solutions
(collectively “JCS”) warrants that for a period of one year
from the date of purchase, this product will be free from
defects in material and workmanship. JCS, at its option, will
repair or replace this product or any component of the
product found to be defective during the warranty period.
Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured
product or component. If the product is no longer
available, replacement may be made with a similar product
of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty. Do
NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical
functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from
the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable.
Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is
required to obtain warranty performance. JCS dealers,
service centers, or retail stores selling JCS products do not
have the right to alter, modify or any way change the terms
and conditions of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or
damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or
misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current,
use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly,
repair or alteration by anyone other than JCS or an
authorized JCS service center. Further, the warranty does
not cover: Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and
tornadoes.
What are the limits on JCS’s Liability?
JCS shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential
damages caused by the breach of any express, implied or
statutory warranty or condition.
Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any
implied warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness
for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the
duration of the above warranty.
JCS disclaims all other warranties, conditions or
representations, express, implied, statutory or otherwise.
JCS shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting
from the purchase, use or misuse of, or inability to use
the product including incidental, special, consequential
or similar damages or loss of profits, or for any breach
of contract, fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim
brought against purchaser by any other party.

exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty

l No haga funcionar esta máquina continuamente
durante más de 4 lotes. Deje que la máquina se
enfríe por 10 minutos después de cada 4 lotes.
l No intente picar hielo.

INSTRUCCIONES ESPECIALES SOBRE EL CORDEL
ELÉCTRICO
1. Se provee un cordel eléctrico corto para disminuir los
riesgos de que una persona o mascota se pudieran
enredar o tropezar con un cordel más largo.
2. Se puede adquirir y utilizar una extensión eléctrica si se
usa con precaución.
3. Si se utiliza una extensión eléctrica, la calificación
eléctrica rotulada de la extensión debe ser de al menos
10 amperios y 120 voltios. El cordel extendido resultante
debe acomodarse para que no cuelgue del borde de un
mostrador o mesa donde pueda ser tirado por niños o
donde se pueda tropezar con él accidentalmente.
4. Esta unidad cuenta con un enchufe polarizado (uno de
sus contactos es más ancho que el otro). Para disminuir
el riesgo de una descarga eléctrica, este enchufe sólo
podrá penetrar en un tomacorriente polarizado. Si el
enchufe no penetra completamente en el tomacorriente,
inviértalo. Si aún no se puede enchufar, comuníquese
con un electricista autorizado. No modifique el enchufe
de manera alguna.
5. Puede personalizar la longitud del cable de manera de
tener la longitud exacta que usted desee. Para aumentar
la longitud del cable tome el cable (no el enchufe) y
sáquelo con cuidado de la ranura y tire de ella fuera de
la moledora de café. Para disminuir la longitud del cable:
Sujete el cable (no el enchufe), levántelo de la ranura y
suavemente insértelo dentro de la moledora de café.

Descubra el fresco aroma de los granos de café recién
molidos con su nueva moledora de café Mr. Coffee®.
Para mejores resultados, favor leer las siguientes
instrucciones antes de comenzar el uso de este
artefacto.
1. Antes de enchufar la moledora de café, limpie el
recipiente de acero inoxidable, las cuchillas y la tapa
con un paño sin pelusas.
2. Utilice esta moledora de café solamente para
moler granos de café. Los residuos que pudieran
quedar después de haber molido otros alimentos
se mezclarían con los delicados aceites del café y
afectarían el sabor de su café.
COMO MOLER LOS GRANOS
1. Retire la tapa y llene el recipiente de molienda con
granos de café de acuerdo a la siguiente tabla:

2. Coloque la tapa en la moledora de café.
3. Enchufe la unidad.
4. Sostenga la tapa firmemente en su
lugar (Figura B). Asegúrese de que el
interruptor de seguridad esté en su
carril con el fin de operar esta unidad.
5. Presione el interruptor de seguridad de
acuerdo con el siguiente diagrama de
tiempo de molienda:

Para porciones más pequeñas de granos utilice menos

6. Cuando se obtenga la molienda deseada, suelte
el interruptor de seguridad y espere 10 segundos
para que las cuchillas se detengan. NO QUITE LA
TAPA HASTAQUE LAS CUCHILLAS NO SE DETENGAN
COMPLETAMENTE..
7. Desenchufe la unidad. Con una mano sujetando la
tapa, voltee la moledora de café y golpee la tapa
ligeramente para asegurar que todos los granos de café
hayan caído dentro de la tapa.
8. Cuando la unidad esté todavía boca abajo, retire con
cuidado la tapa llena con café molido y transfiera los
granos.

CONSEJOS PARA LA MOLIENDA Y TIEMPOS DE
MOLIENDA
1. Usted necesitará no más de 30 segundos para producir
cualquier molienda de café que desee.
2. Su moledora de café necesita enfriarse después
de cada 60 segundos de uso. Este período
de enfriamiento protege su café molido de
sobrecalentamiento antes de que sea colado.
3. Si quedan granos de café en su moledora, se podría
poner rancio y afectar el sabor del café recién molido.
Evite esto eliminando cualquier café molido sobrante
del recipiente de molienda.
4. No muela el café demasiado fino. Los filtros de café
de papel se pueden obstruir y hacer que el agua y los
granos se desborden.
5. Varíe el tiempo de molienda adaptándola a sus gustos y
al tipo de granos que desee moler.
LIMPIEZA
1. Desconecte la moledora de café.
2. NO PONGA ESTA MOLEDORA DE CAFÉ EN AGUA. NO
SUMERJA LAS CUCHILLAS O LA BASE DEL MOTOR EN
AGUA.
3. Quite la tapa de la moledora de café y lave en agua
tibia jabonosa. La tapa no es apta para lavaplatos.
4. Utilice un paño o toalla de papel limpia para eliminar
cualquier grano que haya quedado en el recipiente de
molienda.
5. Asegúrese de limpiar la moledora de café por
completo después de cada uso.
6. No trate afilar las cuchillas, ni echarle aceite. Las
cuchillas están lubricadas permanentemente y no se
necesitan afilar.

Sunbeam Products, Inc. operando bajo el nombre de
Jarden Consumer Solutions, o en Canadá, Sunbeam
Corporation (Canada) Limited operando bajo el nombre
de Jarden Consumer Solutions, (en forma conjunta, “JCS”),
garantiza que por un período de un año a partir de la
fecha de compra, este producto estará libre de defectos
de materiales y mano de obra. JCS, a su elección, reparará
o reemplazará este producto o cualquier componente
del mismo que presente defectos durante el período
de garantía. El reemplazo se realizará por un producto
o componente nuevo o reparado. Si el producto ya no
estuviera disponible, se lo reemplazará por un producto
similar de valor igual o superior. Ésta es su garantía
exclusiva. No intente reparar o ajustar ninguna función
eléctrica o mecánica de este producto. Al hacerlo elimínará
ésta garantía.
La garantía es válida para el comprador minorista original
a partir de la fecha de compra inicial y la misma no es
transferible. Conserve el recibo de compra original. Para
solicitar servicio en garantía se requiere presentar un recibo
de compra. Los agentes y centros de servicio de JCS o las
tiendas minoristas que venden productos de JCS no tienen
derecho a alterar, modificar ni cambiar de ningún otro
modo los términos y las condiciones de esta garantía.
Esta garantía no cubre el desgaste normal de las piezas
ni los daños que se produzcan como resultado de
uso negligente o mal uso del producto, uso de voltaje
incorrecto o corriente inapropiada, uso contrario a
las instrucciones operativas, y desarme, reparación o
alteración por parte de un tercero ajeno a JCS o a un
Centro de Servicio autorizado por JCS. Asimismo, la
garantía no cubre actos fortuitos tales como incendios,
inundaciones, huracanes y tornados.

¿Cuál es el límite de responsabilidad de JCS?
JCS no será responsable de daños incidentales o
emergentes causados por el incumplimiento de alguna
garantía o condición expresa, implícita o legal.
Excepto en la medida en que lo prohíba la ley aplicable,
cualquier garantía o condición implícita de comerciabilidad
o aptitud para un fin determinado se limita, en cuanto a su

JCS queda exenta de toda otra garantías, condiciones o

JCS no será responsable de ningún tipo de daño que

contractual, sea de una obligación esencial o de otra
