Product Description
The MRC PWR-3030 Power Supply series is a
microprocessor controlled and designed to meet most electrophoresis needs.
This manual describes the setu p and operation of the PWR-3030 Power Supply
including important information on safety and maintenance of the unit. The PWR-3030
power supply is capable of running horizontal & vertical electrophoresis,
SDS-PAGE, native PAGE application, two-dimensional electrophoresis, and
electro-blotting. It comes equipped w ith a timer and al arm function as w el l as a
pause function. Furthermore, the powerful specific ati ons plus four terminal
pairs can be used for multiple electrophoresis units simultaneously.
MRC PWR-3030 power supply provides Constant Voltage or Constant
Current or Constant Power to instruments used in electrophoresis. 4 pairs of
terminals and the powerful specification equipment enable more capabilit y of
the PWR-3030 power supply than other existing similar product on the market.
PWR-3030 also has a 2.6” LCD screen where many parameters are displayed at
the same time, which provides a better aspect of the user friendl y concept to
the user.
Features of 3:5 power supply:
- Compact size
- Advanced capacity: 300W, 3000mA, 300V
- Microprocessor controller

Insta llation Instructions
The MRC PWR-3030 Pow er Suppl y is actually a pre-installed instrument.
As long as it is placed on a sturdy and level surface in a safe and dry place,
and is further connected with a well-prepared electrophoresis system, it is
ready for operation.
Operation Instructions
*Note: To operate under constant voltage or constant current modes, adjust
the other parameter to the maximum value. For example, to operate under
constant voltage, adjust current to max before running using constant voltage,
and vice versa.
The PWR-3030 Power Supply is designed to operate under two modes: Constant
Mode or Programming Mode, depending on your electrophoresis conditions.
Use the Constant Voltage / Current / Power Operation for applications that
require only one specific voltage limit, current limit, and power limit
continuously during the entire durat ion of electrophoresis.

Display Screen
Switch on the power, the screen will first show the version and model name.
After the welcome page you will be able to select the oper ation mode:
Constant or Program mode (Screen shown below)
