Playing CD-R, CD-RW containing MP3 and WMA!!
Ordinary CD players could recognize conventional audio CDs only. Because each audio CD contains 15 -20 songs only, you had to change several CDs to listen to lots of songs.
By contrast, the Multi Format CD player can recognize and play CDR/CD-RW containing music files compressed in MP3 and WMA format as well as conventional audio CDs.
As a file size of MP3 or WMA format is typically 3-4 MB, each CD (640MB) can store and play about 150 songs.
