Do not store t he ba ttery at temper atures below -10° C or ab ove 45°C. Do not expos e the b attery to extre me temperat ure c hanges or humid ity and prevent th e con nectors from co rrosion. Always pro tec t the battery aga inst physical d ama ges. Heavy impa cts m ay lead to shortcircuit co ncl uding into over heating or ignition o f the b attery. Never touc h any b attery leakag e. Never let an y chi ldren or pets tou ch the batterie s.
SPEED SENSOR
The Speed Se nso r together with i ts spoke magn et me asures the bike s peed and gives im por tant informat ion to the motor cont rol u nit to calculat e the needed sup por t of motor power. The speed sens or si gnal is also n eed ed to cut off the motor supp ort when the bike reaches th e leg al allowed s pee d of 25kph or 45k ph.
If the clearance between the speed sensor and the spoke magnet is over 15 mm or the speed sensor is not properly connected the speed signal will not be detected by the motor control unit and motor support.
