The Moxi® remote allows you to access,
control, and enjoy the many features of your
Moxi product.
The Moxi remote operates the Moxi product. Once programmed, this remote also
controls the volume and mute functions of
your TV or audio device. The power button
on the remote also turns on your TV and
audio device.
Use the tables in this pamphlet to find
the codes for your brand of TV and audio
device.
If your brand is not listed, or if the given
codes do not work, follow the instructions in
the Programming by Search section.
Programming the TV by code
Follow the steps below to program the
remote to control power and volume for
your TV.
1. In front of the TV, press and hold the
MOXI and OK buttons simultaneously
on the Moxi remote, until the red LED
at the top of the remote blinks twice.
2. Using the number buttons on the
remote, enter one of the codes for the
TV from the reference tables. When
you enter a code correctly, the LED
blinks twice. If it blinks once, the code
was invalid — try entering the code
again. To test that the code is correct
for your device, press the POWER
button to see if the device responds.
3. If the TV does not respond, start over
using another listed code. Repeat until
successful, or use the “Programming
by Search” procedure.
Programming the audio device by code
Follow the steps below to program the
remote to control power for your TV as well
as power and volume for an audio device.
1. In front of the device, press and hold
the MOXI and OK buttons simultaneously on the Moxi remote, until the
LED at the top of the remote blinks
twice.
2. Using the number buttons on the
remote, enter one of the codes for
your device from the reference tables.
When you enter a code correctly, the
LED blinks twice. If it blinks once,
the code was invalid—try entering
the code again. To test that the code
is correct for your device, press the
POWER button to see if the device
responds.
3. If the other device does not respond,
repeat the previous steps using
another listed code. Repeat until successful, or use the “Programming by
Search” procedure.
Programming by Search
If your TV or audio device is not listed or
does not respond to the codes listed, try
Programming by Search. Programming by
search allows the remote to cycle through
codes to find one that works with your TV
or other device.
4. In front of the device, on the Moxi
remote, press and hold the MOXI and
OK buttons simultaneously until the
LED at the top of the remote blinks
twice.
5. Slowly, press the ch+ button repeatedly to advance through the code list
until the device responds (turns on
or off).
6. If you advanced too far, press ch- to
back up and press MUTE to test the
device’s power function.
7. Once the device responds, press the
OK button to set the current code.
Replacing batteries
When replacing AA batteries, use only
high-quality, non-corrosive batteries designed for use in electronic equipment.
Resetting to factory default
Press the MOXI and OK buttons simultaneously, hold until the LED light blinks
twice, and then press CLEAR, CLEAR,
CLEAR.
Older devices
Some older devices may not be supported. If the device still fails to respond,
use its original remote to control it.
