Please read these instructions throughly before using your Serena Pillow Lift.

Serena Pillow Lift

Please inform our customer services department on 01495 723300 within
seven days of receipt if any contents are damaged or missing.

2. Using the Serena

i) Place Serena on your bed, clear of the headboard
ii) Plug the lead from the hand control into the control box
iii) Plug the lead from Serena’s actuator into the control box
iv) Place the control box on the oor in a convenient and safe position and
plug into a mains power point
v) To raise Serena, press the UP button on the hand control. Release this
button when Serena reaches the desired position
vi) To lower Serena, press the DOWN button

3. Cleaning

Frame - wipe clean with a non-abrasive household cleaner and dry

Mattress cover - wipe clean with a non-abrasive household cleaner or

hand/machine wash to 95°C. Dry by hanging out, spinning or tumble
drying at temperatures up to 130°C

Mattress - this cannot be washed and should be replaced if soiled. Call

4. Precautions

Check that the operating parts of Serena are free of obstructions before

and during use
Do not use Serena’s components with any other products

Serena contains no user serviceable parts. In the unlikely event of a fault,

If Serena has been moved from the bed e.g. for changing sheets, on

replacing make sure all electrical connections are securely tted to the
control box
