Read all instructions before using the treadmill to ensure your safety. Make sure that all users read and understand this manual.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, always unplug the treadmill from the electric outlet immediately after using and before cleaning or attempting maintenance activity.
To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury :
Connect each treadmill to a properly grounded electrical outlet. Never leave the treadmill unattended. Unplug the treadmill from the power outlet when it
is not in use, before cleaning it, and putting on or taking off parts.
Do not place blanket on the treadmill. Never operate the treadmill with the air openings
blocked. Keep air openings free of lint, hair, or obstructing material.
Use the treadmill only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not attach
accessories that are not recommended by Motus. It can cause an accident.
Stop using the treadmill and contact your dealer for repair, if the product is wet, if it is not
working properly, if it has a damaged cord or plug or if it has been dropped or damaged. Do not pull the treadmill by the power cord or use the cord as a handle. Never drop or insert objects into any opening in the treadmill. If an abject is dropped
inside, turn off the power and unplug the power cord from the outlet. If the object cannot
be retrieved, contact your dealer. Do not operate where aerosol spray products are being used or where oxygen is being
administrated. Such substances create the danger of combustion and explosion. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug from outlet. Intermittent and improper lubrication by manual operation not only reduces the expected
life span of product, but also might be the cause of the accident. Make sure to completely
lubricate periodically. Do not stand on the display console or motor hood. Never perform the striding belt alignment or tension adjustment while you or other person
are standing on the striding belt. Never let your hands or your body touch the striding belt directly when the treadmill is in
operation, except for the purpose of exercise.

Place the treadmill on a firm and even floor. Keep the space 1 to 2 meters surrounding the treadmill.
Keep the machine horizontally. If not, this can be cause of vibration and noise.
Install the treadmill where ventilation is good.
Do not use the treadmill outdoors or in humid or dusty environments. Under too humid or dusty condition, there can be malfunction.
When you move the product, do not collide the product with the wall or drop it on the floor. The lubricant used in the treadmill shall use only the lubricant designated or provided by Motus. If you use the general industrial lubricant or the one provided by other companies, the deck and running belt may be damaged. After the installation, absolutely do not make unauthorized alteration. Make sure to use the power cord that Motus provides.

WARNING
Check power source before use whether the treadmill is proper for 120V AC or 230V AC.
Do not hold the plug with a wet hand.

The overheat of outlet can cause fire.
Make sure the cable is not crushed under the machine or other heavy objects.
This can be the cause of electric shock, disconnection or fire.
Do not use a warn-out plug or damaged outlet. This can result in a risk of electric shock or fire.

You must begin the exercise after consulting with your physician prior to beginning the exercise. Do not exercise if you are sick or patient. This can cause an accident. Make sure the emergency stop lanyard is tied to you and emergency push button switch is unlocked on the right position before beginning the exercise. The connection line with CD, MP3, and headphone shall be linked prior to beginning the exercise. If the connection is made during the exercise, it may cause an accident. Make sure to check the conditions of the treadmill before beginning the exercise. If the treadmill is not properly in operation, do not use it. Wear proper exercise cloth and shoes. Tie long hair back before exercise. The loose outfit or towel shall be away from the running belt not to become caught in the belt or roller. In the event that an object is caught, the treadmill makes the sudden stop which causes an accident. Do not operate the treadmill when someone is standing on the treadmill. Take care when getting on and off the treadmill. Use the handlebars whenever possible. Place your feet on the right and left side platforms before the running belt begins moving. Step onto the running belt when the speed in is at or below 1.0 km/h. Never step off the treadmill while the running belt is moving.
Do not use extension cord.
Long cord can cause malfunction or stop of treadmill due to voltage drop.
Grip head of the plug when you unplug it. Cable can be disconnected (damaged) if you pull cable itself when unplug it.)
Do not place the machine near a heating device. (Do not place the machine or line cord near a heating device.)

Please put safety guide on where to be easily seen by user.
Do not put any object inside between side platform and running belt.

Do not push buttons with sharp object or pin etc.
This can cause electric shock.
During operation, do not touch any moving parts or rotating parts with one
s hand or any other object.
This can lead to severe injury to your body or damage on the product.
Do not allow children, individuals or disabled persons on or near the treadmill.
Do not leave children unsupervised around the treadmill.
Attach Emergency lanyard to waist level prior to beginning exercise.

If you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or abnormal symptoms during the exercise, Stop the exercise immediately and consult with a physician. Please refrain from unnecessary action during the exercise. Unnecessary actions like mobile phone conversation, talking with other the person, taking beverage and etc. can cause unexpected accident. Do not use the treadmill in bare feet. Always wear shoes with rubber or high traction soles. Do not allow more than one person to exercise on the treadmill. It may cause an accident. The user manual indicates the maximum user weight of the product. Do not allow any persons with more than the maximum user weight to use the product. Make sure to use handle when mounting or dismounting the treadmill. Absolutely do not walk or jog backwards on the treadmill. While the treadmill is in operation, do not try to turn around on the treadmill. Do not use the product for the purpose of animal exercise. Do not use the damaged running belt or deck. Use of the damaged running belt or deck could cause high risk of accident. Make sure to exercise right in the middle of the running belt of the treadmill. Exercise only at the speed and incline appropriate for your own physical strength. If you exercise at a speed and incline faster than your capability, you may be under the risk of an injury. Do not insert hand or any object in between the side platforms and the running belt. Use your own safety guide including additional warning or cautions if necessary. Treadmill is hard metal product, so make sure to be careful always when you use treadmill.
The treadmill must be properly grounded. Grounding will protect you against the danger of electric shock by providing a path of least resistance for electric current in case of malfunction or short circuit. The treadmill is equipped with a power cord, which has grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be inserted into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. If you don’t follow these grounding instructions, you could void the warranty or suffer severe injuries.
A risk of electric shock may result from improper connection of equipment-grounding conductor. Check with a qualified electrician if in doubt about proper grounding technique. Do not modify the plug provided with the product. Any modification to the electrical plug will result in a voided warranty. If it doesn’t fit the outlet, get a proper outlet installed by a qualified technician. For 120V-class treadmill in North America, a 20 amp dedicated circuit is recommended and a temporary adapter must not be used to connect the plug to a two-pole receptacle.

Ergonomics Design
Console screen, handlebars and side platforms are ergonomically designed based on body line, running stances and running habits or viewing angle. Various exercise information can be easily read through the display and touch sensitive keys make the user operate it conveniently while exercising.
Exercise Program
Built-in exercise programs, which are based on scientific analysis, allow user to enjoy various exercises, and custom programs allow user to edit exercise program appropriate for themselves. Also user can enjoy goal-oriented exercise programs based on distance, calories and time.
Low Noise and Vibration
Through long-time manufacturing experience and know-how, up-to-date structure analysis and repeated tests, low noise is achieved and vibration is minimized in wide speed range from low speed to high speed. Higher torque in the low speed range results in a little speed variation, which is based on powerful motor and precise motor control.
M990T series treadmill is distinct product line from Motus in its unique design and reliable functions as advanced commercial treadmill.
Auto Lubrication System
Manual lubrication is very troublesome and hard. By replacing it with auto lubrication, it will be very helpful to gym manager, especially to extend product’s span of life. (M990TL, M990T)

Convenient Manager Mode
Manager can set up maximum exercise time, maximum speed limit, measurement unit, pause time, lubrication amount per once, etc. Also manager can check accumulated distance, accumulated time, error log, etc, so it enables manager to maintain the product more effectively.
Entertainments Function
User can enjoy various music and image using TV, DVD, and VTR. To protect the screen from user’s contact, transparent protective plate is installed on the outside of LCD screen. Also there are a spacious accessory tray, and head phone jack to enjoy a music using personal stereo like MP3 player.
Heart Rate Course
The workout programs based on heart rate monitoring are the optimal way to exercise safely and efficiently within user’s fitness capability. M990T series is equipped with built-in contact heart rate system and optional telemetry heart rate system, which measures user’s heart rate exactly and then adjust the workout intensity according to target heart rate.
Shock Absorber System
Multiple shock absorption not only helps to protect the joints of knees or ankles from the repetitive impact of running but also offers natural feeling during exercising.
