GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
Warning:
Risk of Electric Shock – Connect this furnishing to a properly grounded outlet only. See Grounding Instructions below.
This product must be grounded, if it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

Danger:
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service person if you are in doubt as to whether the product is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the product – if it will not fit the outlet. Have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
Optional Integrated Task light:
The optional task light is integrated into the bottom shelf and is powered by a low voltage outlet located on the horizontal raceway. For larger tables with two bottom shelves, two low voltage power outlets are provided.
When removing or adjusting shelves, always unplug the task light from the low voltage outlet first. To remove the plug, first it is necessary to unscrew the locking ring. Turn in a counterclockwise direction until it is loose. Then the plug can be removed by pulling on the plug body. Never remove the plug by pulling on the cord since this may cause product damage. The low voltage output is only for powering the supplied task light and should not be used for any other purpose.
Re-installation is the reverse of removal.
Switch Options:
Your task light may be equipped with an on/off dimmable light switch or a motion sensor switch.
Touch Switch: The dimmable touch switch is located at one end of the task light strip and is operated as follows:
To turn the light on or off, touch the sensor for a moment. If off, the
light will come on at the last brightness setting stored in the system.
To change the brightness, touch and hold the sensor. The first time the
sensor is touched the brightness will slowly increase. Release when the desired brightness has been reached. The second time the sensor is touched, the brightness will slowly decrease. Releasing the sensor will store the brightness setting.

Motion Sensor: The motion sensor option is located in the middle of the task light strip. This provides automatic operation of the task light at full brightness when motion is detected within approximately 10 feet (3m) of the motion sensor. When no motion is detected for approximately 30 seconds, the light will turn off.
Cleaning:
The table and light fixture can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild cleaning solution. Solvents should not be used. If spray cleaner is used, spray on the cloth, not the furniture to avoid cleaning solution entering enclosed electrical areas.
