While your headset is charging, you won’t be able to use it.
Note: Your battery is designed to last the life of your product. It should only be removed by a recycling facility. Any attempt to remove or replace your battery will damage your headset.

Basics

a few essentials to get you started

Tu r n o n & off

To turn on/off your headset, flip the boom to the open (extended)/closed (folded under the headset body) position.

Wear it

Open the boom, flex the earhook and loop it over your ear.
Make sure the speaker aligns with your ear canal.

Change for left ear use

Open the boom and earhook and gently lift top of the earhook up and off, flip the headset over, and then hook bottom of the earhook onto the lower hinge pin and lift top of the earhook up and on to the upper hinge pin.

Note: The voice prompts are only in English.

Pair & connect with your phone

1 Turn off any Bluetooth® devices previously paired
with your headset.
2 Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your phone.
3 Turn on your headset (see “Turn on & off” on
page 4).
4 Put the headset on your ear (see “Wear it” on
page 4).
The status light is steadily lit in blue and you hear “ready to pair”.
5 Follow the voice prompts to connect your phone to
your headset.
Note: When prompted for the passkey, enter 0000.
When your headset successfully pairs with your phone, you hear “pairing complete”.
For daily use, make sure your headset is turned on, and your phone’s Bluetooth feature is on. Your headset and phone will connect automatically.

Pair & connect a second phone (optional)

1 Turn off first phone and any other Bluetooth devices
previously paired with your headset.
2 Turn your headset off (see “Turn on & off” on
page 4).
3 Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your phone.
4 Put the headset on your ear.
5 Turn on your headset.
The status light becomes steadily lit in blue and you hear “ready to pair”.
6 Follow the voice prompts to connect your phone to
your headset.
Note: When prompted for the passkey, enter 0000.
When your headset successfully pairs with your phone, you hear “pairing complete”.
To connect to both phones, turn on both phones and then turn your headset off and back on again. When you hear “phone 1 connected” and “phone 2 connected” you’re ready to go. The last paired phone (your second phone) is your primary phone (or “phone 1”) for voice dial functionality.

Test your connection

1 Place the headset on your ear.
2 On your phone, dial a phone number and press the
Call/Send key.
If your phone and headset are successfully connected, you hear ringing on the headset.

Tip: When connected to two phones, voice prompts help manage call functions such as voice dial, redial, and end call. Follow the voice prompts to execute a function on the desired phone.
