For Your Safety

Before assembling, charging or using your mobile device for the first time, pleas e read the important product safety and legal information provided with your product.

Specific Absorption Rate (FCC)

SAR (IEEE)
YOUR MOBILE DEVICE MEETS FCC LIMITS FOR EXPOSURE TO RADIO WAVES.
Your mobile de vice is a radi o transmi tter and rec eiver. It is designed not to excee d the limits for exposure to radio waves (radio frequency electrom agnetic fields) adopted by the Federal Communications Commission (F CC). Thes e l imi ts inclu de a su bs tanti al safe ty margi n desi gned to assure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health.
The radio wave exposure guidelines use a unit of meas urem ent know n as the Spe cifi c Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit for mobile devices is 1.6 W/kg. Tests for S AR are conduc ted us ing standard o perating po sitions with th e device tra nsmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency ban ds. The highe st SA R valu es under the FCC guidelines for your device model are listed below :
Head SAR CDMA 800, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 0.74W/kg Body-worn SAR CDMA 800, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 1.5 W/kg
During use, the actual SAR values for your device are usually well belo w the val ues stated. This is because, for purposes o f system efficienc y and to m inimize interferen ce on th e network, the operating power of your mobile device is automatically decreased when full power is not needed for the call. The lower the power output of the device, the lower its SAR value. Body-worn SAR testing has been carried out using an approved accessory or at a separation distance of 2.5cm (1inch). T o m eet RF ex pos ure guidel i nes duri ng body -w orn operation, the device should be in an approved accessory or positioned at least 2.5cm (1inch) away from the body. If you a r e not using an approved accessory, ensure that whatever product is us ed i s free of any metal and that it positions the phone at least 2.5cm (1inch) away from the body. If you are interested in further reducing your RF exposure then y ou can eas ily do so by limi ting your usage or simply using a hands-free kit to keep the device away from the head and body.
