When you turn on your phone for the first time, you are asked to set up your Gmail account. If you don’t have one, you can create one. Touch the Android to begin.
Tip: Write down your username and password, and keep them in a safe place. Like right here:

Tap: Choose an menu item or option.

Drag: Scroll or move slowly.

Tip: When you have voicemail, missed calls, text messages, and more, drag down the status bar for details.
