Thank you for purchasing your new Motorola Wi-Fi® Outdoor Home Video
Camera.
If you have always wondered what happens when you are away, wonder no
more. Now you can monitor your children, pets or property with this easy to
use system. You can install the Camera only from your iPhone®/iPad® or
Android™ devices and view the Camera video from your PC or Notebook,
as well as from your iPhone®/iPad® or Android™ devices.
Please keep your original dated sales receipt for your records. For warranty
service of your Motorola product, you will need to provide a copy of your
dated sales receipt to confirm warranty status. Registration is not required for
warranty coverage.
This User’s Guide has all the information you need to make the most out of
your product.

* An Ethernet connection is required when the Wi-Fi® connection is
not optimal. Connect the Ethernet cable (not supplied) to the LAN
interface, and then connect the other end to a spare port on your router.
Important guidelines for installing your Wi-Fi® Camera Unit
• Use of other 2.4 GHz products, such as other wireless networks, Bluetooth™systems or microwave ovens may cause interference with this
product. Keep the Wi-Fi® Camera Unit away from these types of products, or
turn them off if they appear to be causing interference.
• Always ensure that you have a good Wi-Fi® connection available.
• Determine a location for the Wi-Fi
best view of the area you would like to monitor (ie back yard or front
door).
• Fix the camera to a fla t wall using the wall mounting plate an d following
the instructions provided.

This Wi-Fi® Camera Unit is compliant with all relevant electromagnetic eld
standards and is, when handled as described in the User’s Guide, safe to use.
Therefore, always read the instructions in this User’s Guide carefully before
using the device.

• Heed Warnings - Comply with all warnings on the product and in the
operating instructions.
• Power Sources - This product should be operated only from the type of
power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type
of power supplied to your location, consult your camera dealer or local power
company.
• Overloading - Do not overload wall outlets or extension cords as this can
result in the risk of re or electric shock. Overloaded AC outlets, extension
cords, frayed power cords, damaged or cracked wire insulation, and broken
plugs are dangerous. They may result in a shock or re hazard. Periodically
examine the cord, and if its appearance indicates damage or deteriorated
insulation, have it replaced by your service technician.
• Power-Cord Protection - Power supply cords should be routed so that they
are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against
them. Pay particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles,
and the point where they exit from the product.
• Surge Protectors - It is highly recommended that the camera equipment be
connected to a surge protector. Doing so will protect the equipment from
damage caused by power surges. Surge protectors should bear the CE
approval mark.
• Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) - Because this product is designed
for continuous, 24/7 operation, it is recommended that you connect the
product to an uninterruptible power supply. An uninterruptible power supply
has an internal battery that will keep the product running in the event of a
power outage. Uninterruptible power supplies should bear the CE approval
mark. CAUTION: Maintain electrical safety. Power line operated equipment
or accessories connected to this product should bear the CE approval mark
on the accessory itself and should not be modied so as to defeat the safety
features. This will help avoid any potential hazard from electrical shock or re. If
in doubt, contact qualied service personnel.
• Attachments - Do not use attachments unless recommended by the product
manufacturer, as they may cause a hazard.
• Heat - The product should be located away from heat sources such as
radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other products (including ampliers) that
produce heat.

instructions and use a mounting accessory recommended by the manufacturer.
• Camera Extension Cables - Check the rating of your extension cable to verify
its compliance prior to installation.
• Mounting - The cameras provided with this system should be mounted only as
instructed in this guide or the instructions that came with your cameras.
• Camera Installation - Cameras are not intended for submersion in
water. When installing cameras outdoors, installation in a sheltered area is
recommended.

When a user tries to access the Camera, our secure server authenticates the
user’s identity and permits access to the Camera.
3.1 How to register your Camera to Hubble account
3.1.1 Setting Up the Camera
Via WIFI
Step 1: Connect the antenna with the connector on the rear surface of
the camera.
Step 2: Insert the power adapter connector into the camera's power socket and screw in the waterproof cover. Connect the power adaptor plug to a suitable mains socket and wait for the LED to start blinking RED.

Step 3: Press and hold the pair button for 3 seconds or more until both RED and GREEN LEDs blink together.
Step 4: From the APP, press "+" camera to search for the Focus72, then follow the instructions from the APP.
Via LAN
Step 1: Connect the LAN cable to the camera's LAN socket and the other end to your router, and screw in the waterproof cover.
Step 2: Insert the power adapter connector into the camera's power socket and screw in the waterproof cover. Connect the power adaptor plug to a suitable mains socket and wait for the LED to start blinking RED.
Step 3: Press and hold the pair button for 3 seconds or more until both RED and GREEN LEDs blink together.
Step 4 : From the APP, press "+" camera to search for the Focus72, then follow the instructions from the APP.
3.1.2 Install your Camera
NOTE: We recommend you set up your camera with your router and make
sure that the camera operates fully with your Wi-Fi / LAN in the location you
are going to mount it, before you start to drill holes for the installation.
A. Drill the Screw Holes
• Mark the position on the wall using the camera base plate as a template,
making sure the cable guide in the base plate is correctly aligned for the
direction you want the camera wires to leave the mounting, unless you
pass them directly through the wall behind the base plate.
• Drill 3 holes (4.5mm diameter) and hammer the expansion plugs (included)
into the holes as needed.
• If you want to pass the camera wires through the wall behind the base plate,
drill a 22mm diameter hole in the midpoint between the screw holes.

B. Fixing the Camera unit to the wall or ceiling
• Pass the camera wires through the cable guide of the base plate or through a
hole in the wall or ceiling directly behind the base plate.
• Fasten the base plate on the wall or ceiling with the 3 screws provided.
• Make sure the unit is fixed firmly on the wall or ceiling.
C. Adjust angle and secure the camera unit
• Loos
en the tamper-proof screws with the wrench key (provided).
• Adjust the camera angles to give your required field of view, then
tighten the tamper-proof screws.
D. Connecting LAN with the Camera Unit
• The LAN socket provides an option for you to connect directly via a LAN
cable if necessary. Insert the LAN jack into the LAN socket through the
water proof cover and fasten the cover, as shown.

3.1.3 How to assemble the waterproof plug for the LAN cable

Step 1: Place the O-Ring washer over the end of the LAN socket.

Step 2: Pass the LAN plug and cable through Part 1, the Rubber Gasket
and Part 2 in the order shown below.

Step 3: Connect the LAN plug into the LAN socket.
Step 4: Turn and lock Part 2 to the LAN socket.
Step 5: Make sure the Rubber Gasket is inserted into the rear of Part 2 and
screw Part 1 to Part 2 to finalise the connection.
