IMPORTANT

This unit contains a maintenance-free, sealed lead acid battery. Although the unit arrives partially charged from the factory, it MUST BE FULLY CHARGED FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE FIRST USE. This initial charge pre-conditions the battery. Failure to follow this procedure may permanently damage the battery.

The battery booster pack generates a high current of up to 900 peak Amps. Read and understand all safety information before using this product. Failure to follow these safety instructions may cause ELECTRIC SHOCK, EXPLOSION, or FIRE, which may result in SERIOUS INJURY, DEATH or PROPERTY DAMAGE. This product is only compatible with 12 V lead acid batteries. DO NOT attempt to use product with a 6 V or 24 V battery system. This unit is not intended to be used as a replacement vehicle battery. DO NOT attempt to operate a vehicle that does not have a battery installed. The cable clamps connecting the boosting cables to the vehicle’s battery terminals must be positive to positive (red clamp to battery “+”) and negative to negative (black clamp to battery “-”). A reverse polarity connection (positive to negative) may cause damage to the unit and/or create a sparking hazard. Do not crank the engine for more than 5 seconds at a time. The jump start feature is designed for short term operation only. Operating the jump start feature for more than 5 seconds may cause damage to both unit and engine. Allow the battery booster pack to cool down for at least 3 minutes after each boost. Always turn the jump start system off when not in use. Do not charge the unit through the 12 V DC charging port if your vehicle’s electrical system operates above 15 V. This may lead to accumulation of hydrogen, causing

exposure to ﬁre and explosion hazards.

Ensure that there are no 12 V DC appliances connected to the battery booster pack while the unit is being recharged. DO NOT use this unit to operate appliances that need more than 12 A to operate from the 12 V DC power port. DO NOT insert foreign objects into either the USB port or 12 V DC power port. This unit is not for use by children and should only be operated by adults. Store in a cool, dry place.

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

DO NOT expose product to rain, snow or use in damp conditions. NEVER submerge unit in water. Product is an electrical device that can produce shock and cause injury if used in wet environments. DO NOT operate the unit if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped or otherwise damaged in any way.

Do not disassemble the unit; unit should only be serviced by a qualiﬁed technician.

Refer to the warranty section of this manual for instructions on obtaining service.

Attempting to service the unit yourself may result in a risk of electrical shock or ﬁre

and will void the warranty.

EXPLOSION HAZARD

DO NOT operate unit near the presence of ﬂammable/combustible liquids or gases.

NEVER attempt to jump start a frozen battery. NEVER allow the red and black clamps to touch each other or a common piece of metal. The battery booster pack contains components that tend to produce arcs or sparks. Batteries generate hydrogen gas during normal operation which can be ignited by

sparks from electrical connections. To prevent the risk of ﬁre or an explosion, always

operate in a well-ventilated area and follow all safety information instructions. Always ensure someone is nearby to help you in an emergency.

RISK OF INJURY

Always wear eye protection when working with batteries. Batteries can explode and

cause ﬂying debris. If battery acid comes into contact with eyes, ﬂush affected area with running water

immediately for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately. If battery acid comes into contact with skin, rinse immediately with water and wash thoroughly with soap and water. If redness, pain or irritation occurs, seek medical attention immediately. Be sure to remove all metal items (watches, necklaces, rings, etc.) before using the jump start system.

CAUTION! EQUIPMENT DAMAGE

Do not charge the unit through the 12V DC charging port if your vehicle’s electrical

system operates above 15 V. This may lead to accumulation of hydrogen, causing

exposure to ﬁre and explosion hazards.

Ensure that there are no 12 V DC appliances connected to the battery booster pack while the unit is being recharged. Do not operate any of this unit’s functions while charging is in progress.

Recharging with standard household extension cord (included)

Turn BOOSTING switch to the “OFF” position.

Pull open the AC adaptor cover on the side of the unit.

Connect the female end of the extension cord (included) to the AC plug.

Connect the male end of the extension cord to a grounded 120 V AC outlet.

Do not recharge the unit while it is connected to an external battery.

JUMP STARTING

WARNING! EQUIPMENT DAMAGE

• Do not crank the engine for more than 5 seconds at a time. The jump start feature is designed for short term operation only. Operating the jump start feature for more than 5 seconds may cause damage to the unit. Allow the battery booster pack to cool down for at least 3 minutes after each boost.

WARNINGS! EXPLOSION HAZARD

• Do not turn jump start switch to “ON" position if the REVERSE POLARITY WARNING LED light is ON and an alarm buzzer is sounding.

• NEVER allow the red and black clamps to touch each other or a common piece of metal. This may result in a spark that can cause an explosion.

IMPORTANT

• Recharge battery as soon as possible after each use or every two months when in storage to prolong battery life and keep the unit ready for use.

• Allowing the unit to stay in a discharged state for an extended period of time can cause battery failure and reduce battery life.

• It is recommended to recharge unit every two months when not in use and more frequently in warmer or colder storage conditions to keep battery at peak operating efﬁciency. Use only the charging adaptors provided with this unit.

• All lead acid batteries suffer from self-discharge over time, especially under extreme temperatures. Store in a cool dry place.

NOTE

The red CHARGING STATUS LED light will illuminate to indicate the unit is charging. The battery status indicator will illuminate green when the unit is fully charged . Charging current will automatically go to ﬂoating charge .

Turn BOOSTING switch to the “OFF” position.

Plug 12V DC Charging adaptor pin into the DC charging port.

Plug the 12V DC Charging plug into the vehicle’s 12V DC accessory outlet.

NOTE

Red light on DC adaptor outlet will illuminate to conﬁrm good connection. Vehicle should be running for full charging to take place. (DC charging will not work if engine is off)

IMPORTANT

• Before attempting to boost vehicle.

• Turn off vehicle ignition and all accessories; ensure vehicle is in “park” and emergency brake is engaged.

• Make sure the BOOSTING POWER SWITCH is in the “OFF” position.

• Do not attempt to jump start an engine if the battery level is at 50% or less.

• Do not place the unit where it could fall when vehicle starts up.

• Make sure that cables are routed away from motor fan or belts.

Warning! Instructions are for negative ground systems only (most common for vehicles today). If your vehicle is a positive ground system, reverse steps 1 and 2. Please consult your vehicle’s manual to conﬁrm your vehicle’s ground system.

Connect the red clamp to the POS (+) terminal of the vehicle battery.

Connect the black clamp to the NEG (-) terminal of the vehicle battery.

NOTE: If red REVERSE POLARITY WARNING LED light is on and an alarm is activated, STOP and reverse clamp connections immediately.

When clamps are connected properly, turn BOOSTING switch to the “ON" position.

Try starting your vehicle. Crank the engine in 5 second bursts until engine starts.

Once vehicle starts, turn BOOSTING switch to the “OFF" position.

Disconnect both clamps in the reverse order (black clamp ﬁrst then red clamp).

Recharge unit immediately and store unit safely.

12V DC ACCESSORY POWER

This unit is equipped with one DC outlet socket and can be used to power most 12 volt accessories and appliances.

Pull open cover of the 12 V DC Power Port on the side of the unit.

Insert the 12 V DC plug from the appliance into the 12 V DC Power port on the unit.

Switch appliance ON and operate as usual.

The running time will depend on the condition of the battery and the current draw of the appliance. A reference chart with some typical operating times is shown below for your reference.

DO NOT use this unit to operate appliances that need more than 12 A to operate from the 12 V DC power port. The unit has a 12 Amp automatic overload protection. If loaded more than 12 Amp, it will auto shut off for protection.

OPERATE AIR COMPRESSOR

CAUTION! EQUIPMENT DAMAGE

DO NOT operate air compressor continuously for longer than 10 minutes. Allow compressor to cool down for every 10 minutes of continuous use.

CAUTION! BURST HAZARD AND INJURY

Carefully follow instructions and recommended pressure of products being inﬂated.

DO NOT OVER INFLATE. Always wear eye protection when operating the air compressor. Always check pressure with the pressure gauge. NEVER leave the compressor unattended during use.

IMPORTANT

The Air Compressor operates from the internal battery of the unit. Check battery condition to make sure it is satisfactory before operating compressor. DO NOT use compressor function if battery is less than 50%. Recharge unit after each use.

This unit is equipped with a built-in 150 PSI air compressor that can be used to inﬂate tires, sports equipment and other recreational inﬂatables.

OPERATION

Remove hose from storage compartment.

a) For inﬂating tires or other objects with valve stems, screw in the nozzle

connector to the valve stem.

b) For inﬂating sporting equipment, party balloons or other objects without valve

stems, screw in the appropriate adaptor into the nozzle connector and insert it

into the object being inﬂated.

Turn Compressor switch to the ‘I' position.

Monitor the pressure gauge while inﬂating. When desired pressure is reached, turn

compressor switch to 'O' position.

Unscrew the nozzle connector from the valve stem of the object being inﬂated. If using an adaptor, disconnect from object being inﬂated and remove adaptor from

nozzle connector.

Store air hose and ball/balloon adaptors in the appropriate storage compartments.

Press LED Light switch to turn LED light ON/OFF.

Make sure LED light is OFF when unit is being recharged or stored.

USB PORT

The unit is equipped with a USB port with a 5V 2.4A power output. This port is ideal for charging portable electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets and more. Connect device to the USB Power port and operate device normally.

12V DC CHARGER FUSE REPLACEMENT

The fuse in the plug end of the 12 V DC charger protects the adaptor's charging circuit. If the 120 V AC charger works but DC charging does not, the fuse may have opened (blown). This product comes with a replacement fuse for the 12 V DC adaptor.

To replace the fuse in the plug,:

Twist off the upper cover.

Check fuse condition. If blown, remove the blown fuse and insert the replacement 2 A fuse.

Twist the upper cover back on the plug. DO NOT over tighten the cover.

Make sure there are no devices plugged in to the USB power port when unit is being recharged or stored.

CAUTION! EQUIPMENT DAMAGE

All batteries lose energy from self-discharge with time, more rapidly at higher temperatures. Gradually warm the frozen battery to 0°C (32°F) before recharging to avoid battery damage. If the unit gets dirty, gently clean the outer surfaces with a soft cloth moistened with a mild solution of water and detergent. Do not use solvents or other chemical cleaners. Periodically inspect the condition of charging adaptors, connectors, and wires. Contact manufacturer to replace any components that may have become worn or broken.

DO NOT open or disassemble. Service on this unit is conﬁned to replaceable parts only. All other servicing should be performed by a qualiﬁed person.

Routine maintenance is required to keep your MotoMaster operating properly.

Occasionally clean the outer surfaces with a soft cloth moistened with a mild solution of water and detergent. Do not use solvents or other chemical cleaners. We recommend charging the battery through the built-in AC charger after each use or at least every 2 months to maintain maximum battery capacity. Failing to do so may result in permanent battery damage and poor performance.

Problem

BATTERY RECYCLING

The jump starter is designed to provide years of service. However, the internal battery is not designed to be user replaceable. Because the internal batteries contain lead, which can be hazardous if exposed to the environment, the battery should be recycled or safely disposed of at your local recycling depot. Do not dispose of the battery and the jump starter with common household waste. Please ask your local authorities about recycling services that are available in your area.

Do not dispose of this product in household garbage at the end of its life cycle; hand it over at a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances. The symbols on the product, the instructions for use or the packing will inform about the methods for disposal.
