The Motion Pro Chain Board is designed to
easily and accurately size chains to specific
lengths without the mistakes that can
commonly result from miscounting links.
To use the Motion Pro Chain Board simply
place the first link of the chain over the
“starting point” pin at the bottom of the board
(both 40 and 50 series chain use the same
starting point).

For 50 series chain (520, 525, 530) wrap the
chain counter clockwise over the upper pin.
For 40 series chain (420, 425…) wrap the
chain clockwise over the lower pin.

The markers on the sides of the chain board
will point to the corresponding link number
(for 50 series chain the markers are on the
left, for 40 series the markers are on the
right).

For cleaning your chain board use a good detergent soap
like 409, do not use contact or carburetor/break cleaner
on the chain board as it will damage the backing.
