Styling
Towel dry hair before using the hairdryer.
Set the dryer on the highest setting/speed and circulate
airflow through the hair, trying not to concentrate the
airflow on any one section of hair for a long period of
time.
As soon as the hair is almost dry, lower the speed
setting and use a styling brush to shape the hair as
desired.
Styling Tips
Your hairdryer is one of the most important beauty aids
you own, and the way you use it has a significant
impact on the look and condition of your hair.
Having shampooed your hair, ensure that it is rinsed
properly as shampoo that is left in the hair will leave it
looking dull.
To maximise shine, rinse your hair in cool water when
you have rinsed it thoroughly.
Comb your hair through with a wide toothed comb to
remove tangles before styling.
When drying your hair smooth, make sure each section
is completely dry before moving onto the next or your
hair will kink or frizz
When using brush, comb, diffuser or
volume diffuser
Use on a medium heat/speed setting only. Use of a high
heat/speed setting may cause the automatic thermal
protection cut-out to operate and the hairdryer will
stop. Should this occur, switch off the hairdryer and
remove the plug from the power socket. Allow to cool,
the cut out will automatically reset, you can then
continue to dry your hair but at a lower heat/speed
setting.
Using the concentrator nozzle
The concentrator attachment allows you to direct heat
for smooth styling. Unclip nozzle for normal use.
Using the diffuser
For loose natural curls, remove the concentrator nozzle
if attached and attach the diffuser and invert the dryer
so that it is pointing upwards. Place the hair into the
diffuser bowl so that your hair weight is supported and
can fall into natural curls.
It is advisable to use a medium heat/speed setting to
diffuse air around the curls until dry. For more curl try
scrunch drying your hair in the diffuser.
Using the volume diffuser
For a greater volume effect, remove the concentrator
nozzle if attached and attach the volume diffuser. Toss
the hair forwards to loosen, then with the dryer on the
medium heat/speed setting, place against the head,
with the tips of the rods touching the scalp. Move the
volume diffuser in a circular motion to dry and lift the
hair.
The volume diffuser can also be used with a combing
motion to help straighten permed or curly hair whilst
drying.
Using the styling brush and comb
Part dry the hair with the hairdryer. Attach either the
brush or comb attachment. Use only the medium heat/
speed setting.
Starting from the scalp brush or comb the hair down
through the hair to the ends. Repeat the process all
over the head.
Cool shot button
Set your style in place after drying your hair with a
flow of cool air by pressing the cool shot button.
Mains Lead
As a safety precaution and to prolong the life of your
appliance, do not wrap the mains lead around the
appliance as this will cause damage.
