USING YOUR STRAIGHTENER
After washing your hair, it’s really important to prepare it for styling. If you use lots of heated styling tools on your hair always use a heat protection spray before you begin styling. Always dry the excess water from your hair using a towel, and then use a wide tooth comb to detangle and smooth your hair.
Use your hair dryer until your hair is thoroughly dry. Divide your hair into sections and comb each section thoroughly. Use the sectioning clips to clip hair out of the way so you can straighten hair thoroughly.
Use the On/Off button to switch your straightener on. Your straightener is set to switch on at its minimum temperature of 100°C. You can use the +/– buttons to adjust it to the best temperature for you. Once the straightener has reached its temperature, the ready symbol will appear on the display.
Clamp a section of the hair between the straightening plates as close to the roots as possible. Gently slide the straightener down your hair shaft to the ends. For more difficult sections of hair, you may need to do this again. Repeat on all sections of the hair.
To find the best heat setting to suit your hair and minimise damage; start with a low setting 120-130ºC for fine hair and 160-170ºC for thick hair and straighten a strand of hair. Keep increasing the temperature until you can straighten a strand of hair with just two strokes. This is the optimum temperature for your hair and will help you create perfect styling with minimum damage.
DON’T FORGET – to switch off your straightener and store when you have finished straightening. If you want to store your straightener in the gift box, always make sure your straightener has cooled down and never wrap the cable around the product as this can cause damage.
Try and clean your straightener regularly for best results. Always do this when the straightener is switched off and has cooled down.

01 This straightener is of a professional standard and reaches very high temperatures. Always

10 After use, do not store until the product has cooled down. 11 Do not place the straightener on surfaces likely to be damaged by the heat. 12 It is normal to find build up of hair products on the straightening plates. For this reason
therefore, you should clean your straightener regularly. Always wait for the plates to cool down thoroughly before cleaning. Use a damp cloth to remove any build up. If this fails to clean the plates, try a non abrasive cleaning wipe.

This product is fitted with a 13 amp (BS1363) plug. A 13 amp fuse (BS1362) must be used. If the socket outlets in your home are not suitable for the plug supplied with this appliance, the plug should be removed and the appropriate one fitted.
