Styling tips
Your hairdryer is one of the most important beauty aids
you own, and the way you use it has a significant
impact on the look and condition of your hair.
Having shampooed your hair, ensure that it is rinsed
properly as shampoo that is left in the hair will leave it
looking dull.
To maximise shine, rinse your hair in cool water when
you have rinsed it thoroughly.
Comb your hair through with a wide toothed comb to
remove tangles before styling.
When drying your hair smooth, make sure each section
is completely dry before moving onto the next or your
hair will kink or frizz.
Styling
Towel dry hair before using the hairdryer.
For drying
Unfold the handle of your travel hairdryer. Set the dryer
on the highest setting/speed and circulate airflow
through the hair, trying not to concentrate the airflow
on any one section of hair for a long period of time.
As soon as the hair is almost dry, lower the speed
setting and use a styling brush to shape the hair as
desired.
Important safeguards
When using your hair appliance, basic safety
precautions should always be followed.
1 Read all instructions carefully.
2 Use the appliance for its intended use only.
3 To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not
immerse the appliance in water or in any other
liquids.
4 Be sure that your household voltage corresponds
to the voltage marked on the dryer.
5 The air inlet grille should not be obstructed
when the hairdryer is in use.
6 Always unplug your appliance when it is not
in use.
7 It is recommended that this appliance should
not be used by children.
8 Do not leave the hairdryer switched on whilst
unattended.
9 When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug
it after use since the proximity of water presents a
hazard. For additional protection the installation of
a residual current devise (RCD) with a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30 ma is
advisable in the electrical circuit supplying
the bathroom.
Dual voltage
Use a coin or a screw driver and rotate the dual voltage
switch to either the 240v UK or 120v USA.
