Morley QUAD Owner's Manual

Thanks for buying the Morley Quad Box
This device is designed to route two guitar signals to two amplifiers. Then, you can select between either guitar or use any combination of both amps with a click of the appropriate switch. This allows for great flexibility in guitar and amp tones and is a cost effective and easy to use switching solution.
Using standard guitar cables, hook two guitars to jacks marked INPUT 1 and INPUT 2. The switch marked INPUT 1 OR INPUT 2 switches back and forth between either guitar. When LED is lit, you have chosen INPUT 1, when LED is off you have chosen INPUT 2. You cannot turn on both guitars at the same time.
Using standard guitar cables, hook two amps up to jacks marked AMP 1 and AMP 2. Each amp channel has its own switch and LED. Each amp signal is turned on or off by clicking on the footswitch of the appropriate amp channel. When the LED is on, amplifier signal is engaged.
The Quad Box is passive (no power required) and True Bypass. For LED indication, one 9V battery or optional Morley 9V adapter is required. Remove four bottom cover screws and bottom cover to install battery.

Hooking some amps together via a switching device may create Ground Loop Hum in one or more of the amps. If this occurs, please check out the Ebtech® Hum X at www.ebtechaudio.com. You can also read more about why Ground Loops occur and how to properly diagnose them.
IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS DEVICE IS INTENDED FOR USE WITH PASSIVE AUDIO SIGNALS, DO NOT USE THIS DEVICE ON POWERED SPEAKER LINES OR YOU WILL DAMAGE THE AMP AND/OR SPEAKER.
