OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT
1. Wash the rice in another container and pour into the inner pot
after washing. Generally, with one cup of rice, one and a half
cups of water should be added. Do not wash rice directly in
the inner pot. (See Fig. 1)
2. Place the inner pot correctly in position: Make sure there is
no foreign matter sticking to the heating element and cooker
bottom, then place the inner pot into the outer shell. At the
same time turn the inner pot in clockwise and counter
clockwise direction several time to ensure close contact
between the inner pot and heating element. Fig 2
3. Rice cooking: Insert the power plug into the cooker and plug
into the power outlet. Then press the button on the control
panel. The indicator light will turn to “COOK” indicating that
the rice cooker is in operation.
4. Heat preservation function: After the “COOK” indicator light
turns off, the “WARM” indicator light will turn on, automatically switching to heat
preservation function. If heat preservation is not required, disconnect the power plug
immediately, so as to extend the cooker ’s operation life.
5. Steaming or stewing food: When food is steamed or stewed to the required time, pull
up the operation button to stop heating.
1. This product is a Class-1 electric appliance. In order to guarantee safe operation, it
requires the AC mains to be earthed well. The power plug is a specially designed
plug, and any alteration of the plug is not recommended.
2. The bottom and edge of the inner pot, and the heating element
should not be hit by force. It should be kept clean at all times.
Ensure water and rice residues do not remain on the surface of
the inner pot or heating element to prevent cooking inefficiency
or malfunctions. Fig 3
3. Do not wash the cooker shell or immerse in water so as to prevent electrical shock.
The non-stick inner pot can be wiped with a soft cloth. Never clean it with a knife or
other sharp objects.
