Thermocouple Rear Terminal Kit
CAUTION: Each kit is made for a specific
thermocouple type (J,K, etc.) since the terminals
and lugs are made from the same thermocouple
metal. Using an unmatched kit could result in large
measurement errors.
STEP 1
Remove STZ/ TDZ3 HP unit from enclosure.

Attach thermocouple wires directly or using spade
lugs provided. Please note that the spade lugs are
made from the same material as the thermocouple
wire and must be matched with the terminal (+ or -).
Refer to table below for wire color and polarity.
Crimp wire
to lug
STEP 3
STEP 4
Tighten
4 screws
Loosen 4 screws.
Do not remove.
Slide on
STEP 7
Replace HP unit into enclosure
