Voyager Old School
Legato Switch and Velocity Curve
Modification
Congratulations!
Your Old School has been modified and is now an even more expressive instrument.
Legato Switch
A new switch with classic Moog look and feel is now conveniently located near the Pitch and Mod
Wheels (Fig.1) for easy switching between Single and Multi envelope triggering.
In single-trigger mode, depressing a key while another one is already held changes the pitch but
does not re-trigger the filter or volume envelopes. In multi-trigger mode, every time a key is
pressed the envelopes are re-triggered whether or not another key is already depressed.

Velocity Curves
Set Soft, Medium and Hard curves by holding down specific keys (Fig.2) during power-up.
Settings are stored and will remain in effect through on/off power cycles until changed.
To set a velocity curve, power off the Old School and
turn the power back on while holding down high C (the
top-most note on the keyboard) and one of the other
notes shown.
It is advisable to turn down the volume on your
amplification system before you turn power on or off.
The A-C combination sets a hard velocity curve. G-C
sets a medium velocity curve and F-A sets a soft
velocity curve.

Note: Holding down the B-C note combination during power-up activates the Old School’s original
multi-trigger option. This sets the Old School into multi-trigger mode and the legato switch will
have no effect. To return to normal operation, turn power off and then on again.
