Modular Imaging System

The demand for high performance day / night surveillance is pressing for smaller, smarter, less expensive products. At the same time, the environments in which imaging products must function are increasingly hostile. Responding to this demand, Moog developed the GeminEye™ modular imaging system. GeminEye embraces high performance in a small package, and it is designed to be congured for different applications.

Based on our new QPT-LT dual side-mount positioner, it can be congured with single or dual camera blocks for day, night or day / night capability. Various wavelength band sensors and illuminator modules are available. Moog queried its extensive customer base, formed over thirty years in the security industry, for a “clean sheet” specication of all salient characteristics needed for creation of the GeminEye.

As a system, GeminEye is completely upgradable with image blocks swappable by the user in the eld. Let the GeminEye surveillance system be an important part of your complete security solution.

Image Blocks

The camera blocks are designed for quick disconnect from the positioner. Customers can recongure systems from day to night payloads or install both at the same time. The image blocks contain embedded translation of the camera operating protocol to the universal protocol of the system. Cameras can be swapped without any change to the system commands. Combined with the Unicom® LT controller or with the system GUI interface, all camera functions are available immediately upon installation. Each camera block is fully sealed and pressurized to assure moisture free operation and long lifetime.

IR Illuminator

IR illuminators are available for enhancing camera penetration during nighttime or low light situations. The illuminators have the options of covert and semi-covert wavelengths. The Quick-Site boresight mechanism is available for near / far eld visibility adjustments.
