The FULL series, well known for its combination of compact size and high performance,
has been further enhanced by a new model, the 3-way active FULL1018ST system, composed of three
elements: an active bass cabinet and two passive satellites.
FULL1018ST was conceived to satisfy, in medium-sized rooms, the requirements of both bands looking
for the best tool to convey their musical emotions by means of a solid, linear, versatile and no-frills
system, as well as the expectations of the most demanding DJs who, with a really small, lightweight
and easily transportable system, are able to recreate the sensation of being in front of a very large PA.
The FULL1018ST architecture is directly inspired by the other systems of the FULL series and, thanks
to the on-board Montarbo DSP controller, it is possible to adapt the system’s response to the room
acoustics, monitor the temperature of the power amplifiers, set the time delay for use in sound
reinforcement applications and customize the tonal response in order to create a customized sound
character. The bass cabinet, fitted with an 18” woofer, incorporates all the circuitry for the signal
processing and power amplification of the entire system. It is equipped with three class-D amplifiers,
featuring switching-mode power supplies, controlled by a Montarbo DSP processor
(56 bit, 180 MHz, with 24 bit conversion), which handles all the functions of filtering, equalization,
delay, limiting and diagnostics. This DSP utilizes an advanced algorithm for real-time control of
each amplifier’s power output and temperature (both internal and external) as well as including
a dedicated standby function which results in reduced power consumption when no signal is present.
5 presets are available, one of which may be customized by the user and stored in the DSP memory,
thus adapting the speaker’s acoustic response to the user’s own personal taste.
The presets may be modified with the Montarbo proprietary RAConLSTM software program, supplied
with the optional LD2.4 USB interface. With a single LD2.4 USB interface it is possible to operate up
to 8 speaker systems by means of PC remote control, making it possible to: program a custom preset
and store it in the DSP or store an unlimited number of them in the PC; adjust the frequency
response by means of a 10 filter ‘full parametric’ equalizer; adjust the time delay and output level
of each speaker system; and check the signal level and thermal conditions of the power amplifier.

La serie FULL, nota per la compattezza e le altissime prestazioni, si arricchisce di un nuovo modello,
il sistema attivo a 3 vie FULL1018ST, che si compone di tre elementi: un bass cabinet attivo e due
satelliti passivi. FULL1018ST nasce per soddisfare, in ambienti di medie dimensioni,
le esigenze della band che cerca il mezzo migliore per esprimere le proprie emozioni affidandosi
alla linearità ed alla versatilità di un sistema solido e concreto e/o le aspettative dei DJ più esigenti
che, con un sistema veramente piccolo leggero e trasportabile, possono ricreare la sensazione di
essere di fronte ad un grande P.A.
Direttamente derivato dagli altri sistemi della serie, dai quali eredita l’architettura, anche nel
FULL1018ST, grazie al DSP Montarbo, è possibile adattare la risposta in frequenza del sistema
all’acustica dell’ambiente, monitorare la temperatura dei finali, settare delay in caso di sound
reinforcement e ‘customizzare’ la timbrica per creare il proprio suono.
Il bass cabinet con woofer da 18” incorpora tutta l’elettronica necessaria al processamento e
all’amplificazione dell’intero sistema. È equipaggiato di tre amplificatori in classe D (con alimentazio­ne switching) controllati dal processore DSP Montarbo (56 bit, 180 MHz, con convertitori a 24 bit)
che si occupa di tutte le funzioni di filtraggio, equalizzazione, ritardo, limitazione e diagnostica.
Il DSP utilizza un metodo avanzato di controllo dell’energia erogata dall’amplificatore e della
temperatura dello stesso, tenendo conto anche della temperatura esterna, ed ha una funzione
dedicata per ridurre il consumo di energia in assenza di segnale (standby).
Sono disponibili 5 preset, di cui uno personalizzabile dall’utente e memorizzabile sul DSP, che
consentono di adattare il timbro del diffusore al proprio gusto personale.
La personalizzazione dei preset avviene mediante l’esclusivo software proprietario Montarbo
RAConLS™, fornito con l’interfaccia USB LD2.4 (dispositivo opzionale). Il controllo remoto consente:
la personalizzazione e memorizzazione dei preset, uno sul DSP e in numero illimitato su PC;
l’equalizzazione con 10 filtri parametrici; la regolazione del ritardo e del livello di uscita del sistema,
la verifica del livello del segnale e dello stato termico dei finali di potenza.
