Download and Install Players
PC
• Download Vulkano PC Player to your PC from www.myvulkano.com/players.html
• Install and run Vulkano Player
• Select Run Vulkano Player (since you already set up Vulkano)
• Go to Player > Add or Select Vulkano > Add and enter the name and password of
your Vulkano
• Select Watch TV to get started
Mac
• Download Vulkano Mac Player to your Mac from www.myvulkano.com/players.html
• Install and run Vulkano Player
• Go to Player > Add/Select Vulkano > Add to enter the name and password of Vulkano
• Go back to the Home screen and push Watch TV to get started
iPhone/iPad
• Download Vulkano Player to your iPhone or iPad from the iTunes App Store
• Go to Settings>Select to enter the name and password of Vulkano
• Go back to the Home screen and push Live TV to get started
Android
• Download Vulkano Player to your phone from Android Market
• Install and run Vulkano Player
• Go to Settings > Selected Vulkano > Add Vulkano
• Enter the name and password of Vulkano
• Go back to the Home screen and push Live TV to get started
Blackberry
• Download Vulkano Player to your phone from Blackberry App W orld
• Install and run Vulkano Player
• Go to Settings > Selected Vulkano > Add Vulkano
• Enter the name and password of Vulkano

Troubleshooting
Set Top Box control problems
If you have any problem controlling your Set Top Box, use the included IR Blaster cable.
Insert the plug into the “IR Blaster” jack in the back of Vulkano and place the IR ‘paddles’ in
front of the remote window on your STB. These paddles have an adhesive strip to help hold
them in place once you determine the correct position.

Step 5 – Home Network Connection
Vulkano connects to your home network using Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Your STB has input connectors on the back for Component,
Composite, or both.
Component will provide the next best quality, using the
included Component and Composite cables.
Composite uses the included Composite cable only.
Connect your Vulkano to your STB as shown in the diagram
below.
Note: Vulkano does not support HDMI input.
Your TV has input connectors on the back for Component, HDMI,
Composite, or more than one.
HDMI will provide the best video quality, using included HDMI
cable.
Component will provide the next best quality, using included
Component and Composite cables.
Composite uses the included Composite cable only.
Connect your Vulkano to your TV as shown in the diagram below.
Vulkano Blast – skip to step 4.
Vulkano Lava comes with an SD memory card. Insert it into the
SD card slot as shown.

Power
Connect the included power supply as shown.
Wi-Fi - You will connect Vulkano to your Wi-Fi network when you run
the Setup in Step 6.
Ethernet - Connect your Vulkano to your router as shown using the
Ethernet cable.
Step 6 - Setup
• Turn on your TV
• Use your TV’s remote control to select HDMI, Component or
Composite input from your TV's setup menu. The selection should
match the cable you used to connect Vulkano to your TV.
• Plug Vulkano’s power supply into an available wall socket.
• If connected using Ethernet, Vulkano’s status light will
initially go through the sequence: Red, Red Flashing, Green.
• If not connected using Ethernet (you plan to use Vulkano on
a wireless network), Vulkano’s status light will initially go
through the sequence: Red, Red Flashing, Blank (off). The
light will turn green w hen you complete wireless setup.
• Point your Vulkano remote control at Vulkano’s front panel and
press “1” to choose Component output, “OK” to choose HDMI
output, or “2” to choose Composite output. The instructions on the
screen will flash until you make your selection.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup.
