SAFETY WARNINGS AND GUIDELINES
Please read this entire manual before using this device, paying extra attention to these
safety warnings and guidelines. Please keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
This device is intended for indoor use only.
Do not expose the motor base to water or moisture of any kind. If water or moisture
does get into the motor base, immediately unplug it from the power source and
allow it to thoroughly dry before using it again.
Prior to operation, check the unit and power cord for physical damage. Do not use if
physical damage has occurred.
Unplug this device from the power source when not in use, before removing food,
before assembly/disassembly, and before cleaning.
Do not touch the parts that move while the unit is plugged into its power source.
This device has no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open, service, or
modify this device.
Never unplug the unit by pulling on the power cord. Always grasp the connector
head.
Do not touch the device or the power cord with wet hands.
Always clean the blender cup(s), lids, and blade base immediately after use. The
cups, lids, and blade base can are dishwasher safe.
Do not operate the blender motor continuously for more than 1 minute. Do not
operate it again until after 1 minute has elapsed.
Never operate the blender with an empty blending/drinking cup.
Never fill the blending/drinking cups beyond the Max line on the side.
Cut all food into pieces no larger than 3/4" to 1" in size.
Never blend hot ingredients. Always allow ingredients to cool before blending.
Never leave the blender unattended during operation.

Do not overload the blending/drinking cup. If the motor stalls, cease operation and
let it cool for at least 15 minutes, then remove some of the ingredients and try again.
This blender will not mash potatoes, whip egg whites or substitute dairy toppings,
mix stiff dough, or grind raw meat.
Keep out of reach of children.
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing this El Niño 1000 Personal Blender/Mixer! This blender delivers
1000 watts of professional blending power. It is equipped with a motor made with pure
copper conductors, which improves motor lifespan. It includes an integrated circuit
controller, with built-in shutdown protections circuits and high-speed, mixed-speed, and
pulse operating modes. The El Niño 1000 allows you to break down fruits and vegetables
for nutrient-rich juices at home or on the go. For on the go use, simply twist on drinking lid
and take your drinks with you. Not going out? No problem. Save your blends all in the same
cup! Just twist on the sealable lid and store in the fridge to enjoy at a later time. All parts
are BPA free and dishwasher safe.

ASSEMBLY
1. Ensure that the blender is unplugged from its power source.
2. Put food and/or liquid into the blending/drinking cup. Food should be cut into 3/4"
to 1" sizes. Do not fill the cup beyond the Max line.
3. Screw the blade base onto the blending/drinking cup.
4. Invert the cup/blade base assembly, line up the tabs on the outside of the cup with
the openings at the edges of the hole on the motor base, then insert it into the
motor base.
5. Press down on the cup and twist clockwise
to lock it into place.
6. Plug the blender into a nearby AC power
outlet. The ON/OFF button will blink red,
indicating that the blender is in standby
mode.
DISASSEMBLY
1. Unplug the blender from its power source.
2. Press down on the cup, then twist counterclockwise to unlock the cup/blade base
assembly from the motor base.
3. Remove the cup/blade base assembly from the motor base, then invert it.
4. Unscrew the blade base from the cup.
5. Use the storage lid or drinking lid, as appropriate.
6. Immediately clean the blade base. When the blending/drinking cup is empty,
immediately clean the cup and lid. Note that the blending/drinking cups, lids, and
blade base are dishwasher safe.

OPERATING MODES
Never operate the blender with an empty blending/drinking cup. The blender will stop
blending and return to Standby mode after 1 minute of operation. Do not operate it again
until after 5 minutes have elapsed.
Standby Mode
When the blender is plugged into a power source and the cup/blade base assembly has
been properly installed, the LED inside the ON/OFF button will blink red to indicate that
the blender is in Standby mode.
High-Speed Mode
Press the ON/OFF button to start high-speed blending. The LED inside the ON/OFF
button will change to blue.
Press the ON/OFF button to stop high-speed blending.
The blender will stop blending after 1 minute of continuous blending. Do not
operate the blender again until after 5 minutes have elapsed.
Mixed-Speed Mode
Press the BLEND button to start mixed-speed blending. The LED inside the BLEND
button will illuminate blue. The blender will automatically alternate between full-
speed and half-speed operation.
Press the ON/OFF button to stop mixed-speed blending.
The blender will stop blending after 1 minute of continuous blending. Do not
operate the blender again until after 5 minutes have elapsed.

Pulse Mode
Press the PULSE button to begin blending in Pulse mode. In Pulse mode the blender
operates as long as the PULSE button is being pressed and stops when the PULSE
button is released.
The blender can be operated in Pulse mode for a maximum of 1 minute. Do not
operate the blender again until after 5 minutes have elapsed.
