both the MIC & LINE inputs on the same channel, use only one of them for the appropriate source.
2) STEREO INPUTS
These inputs are configured as stereo pairs using 1/4" balanced TRS jacks. Use the left channel if connecting a mono

signal.
3) INSERT JACKS Each of these jacks provides an insert point between the equalizer and level control of the corresponding input channel. The INSERT jacks can be used to
independently connect devices, such as graphic equalizers, compressors, or noise filters, into the corresponding channels. These are unbalanced 1/4" TRS jacks that
carry both the send and return signals.
4) GAIN CONTROL Adjusts the input signal level. Turn the knob clockwise to increase the gain; counter- clockwise to decrease gain.To achieve the best balance between S/N and dynamic
range, adjust the level so that the peak LED indicator lights occasionally only on the highest input transients. For mono channels, the MIC input adjustment range of the Gain is 0 to 50dB and the sensitivity of the line input is -35dB to +15 dB; For stereo
channels, the MIC adjustment range of the Gain is 0 to 40dB and the sensitivity of the line input is -20dB to +20dB.
40) AUX SENDS
This 1/4" TS jack is used to send the signal
out from the AUX bus to external devices,
such as effects.
41) GR1/2 OUT
These 1/4" TRS jacks are used to send out
the signal from the GR 1 / 2 mix bus to
external devices.
42) PHONES
This socket is used to send the mix signal out to a pair of headphones..
43) DFX SENDS
This 1/4" TS jack is used to send the signal
out from the DFX mix buses to external
devices.
44) AC INLET WITH FUSE HOLDER
Plug the supplied AC power cord into this
C14 panel connector. The fuse is the
T12AL/AC250V type.
45) POWER ON / OFF
Use this switch to power the mixer on/off.
46) PHANTOM ON / OFF
Use this switch to turn Phantom Power on/
off. When Phantom Power is on the
console provides +48V to all six XLR
sockets to power condenser microphones.
Do not use Phantom Power with any
device that does not require it. Doing so
could cause damage to the device and/or
mixer.

5) LOW CUT By pressing this button you will activate a 75Hz low frequency filter with a slope of 18dB per octave. You can use this feature to reduce AC line induced hum/noise or
stage rumble when using a microphone.
6) COMP CONTROL Adjusts the amount of compression applied to the channel. Turn the knob to the right to increase the compression. The output gain will automatically adjusted.
47) AMP OUTPUT
Connect 4 or 8-ohm speakers to these
powered outputs. You can connect using
2-conductor NL4 speaker twist or 1/4" TS
cables. Both NL4 and 1/4" TS cables are
available from Monoprice. Note that Class
2 wiring may be used.

The result is smoother, more even dynamics because the louder signals are attenuated, while the overall level is boosted.

30) FX TO AUX
This control is used to assign the signal from FX to the AUX SEND output.
31) PROGRAM (PUSH)
Use this knob to select the desired effect for the mix. There are a total of 100 effects, with 10 variations for each of the 10 basic effects. Basic effects include Echo, Echo+Verb, Tremolo, Plate, Chorus, Vocal, Rotary, Small Room, Flange+Verb, and Large Hall. When you have selected the desired effect, push the knob to store the selection.
32) DIGITAL EFFECTS DISPLAY
Displays the number of the selected effect preset.
33) PHANTOM LED
This LED indicates when phantom power is switched on.
34 PWR LED
This LED indicates when the mixer is powered on.
35) 2TK IN / 2TK OUT 2TK IN
Use the 2TK IN input to connect a tape deck, CD player, or other similar audio source device. This input can be assigned to either the Control Room output or the Main Mix. You can assign the signal coming from the Tape Recorder either to a pair of
studio monitor using the control room assignment on the front panel or you can also send the signal directly to the Main Mix.
2TK OUT
The 2TK OUT output sends the Main Mix to an external device, such as a tape or
digital recorder.
36) MAIN MIX OUTPUT
This stereo output features balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS connectors. The Main Mix output is typically routed to an amplifier.
37) ST RETURNS
These 1/4" TS jacks are typically used to return the stereo signal from an effects device back into the Main Mix. They can also be used as additional auxiliary inputs.
38) CTRL-ROOM
These 1/4" TS jacks are used to send the signal out to studio monitor speakers or to a second amplifier.
7) EQUALIZER HI
This is the treble control. You can use it to get rid of
high frequency noises or to boost the sound of cymbals or
the high harmonics of the human voice. The gain range
goes from -15dB to +15dB, with a center frequency of
12kHz.
MID
This is the mid range control. It can affect most
fundamental frequencies of all musical instruments and
human voice. An attentive use of this control will give you
a very wide panorama of sound effects. The range goes from
-15dB to +15 dB, with a center frequency of 2.5kHz.
LOW
This is the bass control. It can affect low frequency sounds,
such as male voice, kick drum, or bass guitar. The range
goes from -15dB to +15dB, with a center frequency of
80Hz.
8) AUX
These controls are used to adjust the level of the signal sent
to the AUX buses. Their adjustable range is from - to
+15dB.
9) PRE/POST
Each channel is equipped with a PRE/POST button. When in
the PRE position, the AUX signal is sent directly to the
output, bypassing the fader. When in the POST position, the
fader controls the AUX signal level.
10) DFX / POST
These controls are used to adjust the level of the POST FADER

11) PAN / BAL CONTROL
For mono inputs, the PAN control determines the position of the signal in the stereo soundstage.
For stereo inputs, it controls the balance between the left and right channel signals.
12) MUTE
10
39) FOOT SWITCH
Use this 1/4" TS jack to connect an external foot pedal for an alternate method of toggling DFX MUTE on/off.
Each channel is equipped with a MUTE button. Pressing this button is equivalent to turning the
fader all the way down, which mutes the corresponding channel output, except for the PRE AUX
sends, channel INSERT send, and SOLO (in PFL mode). When MUTE is activate, the MUTE LED will
illuminate.
7
Page 8
13) PFL
Each channel is equipped with a PFL button. When PFL is active, the audio signal
23) MAIN/GR1-2
on the channel is sent directly to the CTRL and Headphones outputs and to the
output level meter, bypassing the fader. When PFL is off, the channel's output
level is affected by the fader.
14) PEAK LED
This LED illuminates when the peak level of the post-EQ signal reaches 3dB below
clipping. For the XLR-equipped stereo input channels, both the post-EQ and post-
mic-amp signals are monitored and the LED illuminates if either of these signals
reaches 3dB below clipping.
15) GR1-2
Each channel is equipped with a GR1-2 button. Pressing this, pressing this button
sends the signal to the GR1-2 mix bus.
16) L-R
Each channel is equipped with an L-R button. Pressing this button sends the signal
to the MAIN MIX bus.
17) LEVEL
This fader adjusts the overall level of this channel and sets the amount of signal
sent to the main output.
This button determines whether the GR1-2 or MAIN MIX signal is sent to the CTRL ROOM output. Note that if PFL is active, the signal sent to CTRL ROOM is unaffected by the MAIN/ GR1-2 button.
24) CTRL/PHONES
This knob is used to adjust the signal level of the CTRL ROOM and PHONES outputs. The range of the knob is -
to +15dB.
25) OUTPUT LEVEL
This stereo, 12-segment LED display indicates the overall level of the output signal. Note that the amplifier's output is at maximum when the +10dB LED is illuminated.
