Introduction:
Thank you for purchasing the Monoprice MCD-601M adjustable tilt/swivel flat panel display wall
mount. The MCD-601M is designed to be attractive, durable, easy to install and provide you with
years of reliable service. The mount is designed to be installed on to solid concrete or wood studded
walls. Please review this entire manual before beginning installation. If you are unsure about any
part of the installation process, please consult the advice of a professional installer.
Installation:
Step One:
Disassemble the mount - The Wall mount comes preassembled.
However, before you begin, you will need to detach the display
plate from the wall mount assembly to make installation easier.
Use a 5mm allen wrench to remove the two bolts securing the
display plate to the wall mount assembly.
Step Two:
Mark Your W all - If you are installing on to a wood stud wall, you
will need to use a stud finder to locate the location of a stud in the
wall. Mark your stud.
Use a level to position the wall plate portion of the wall mount
(part C) at the place on the wall you want to install the mount and
make sure the plate is vertically straight. Holding the wall plate to
the wall, use a pencil to mark the 3 points the mount will attach to
the wall.
Step Three:
Drill Pilot Holes - If you are installing on to concrete or solid brick,
you will need to use the included concrete anchors (part B). Drill 10
mm pilot holes approximately 60mm deep. Insert the anchors into
each of the holes.
If you are installing onto drywall with wood studs, drill 3 mm pilot
holes approximately 60mm deep into the stud.
Step Four:
Attach The Arm Assembly To The Wall - Hold up the arm
assembly to the wall. Line up the holes on the wall plate to the
pilot holes and fasten the plate to the wall with the lag bolts (part
A).
