Introduction:
Thank you for purchasing the Monoprice MCD-601S adjustable tilt/swivel flat panel display wall
mount. The MCD-601S is designed to be attractive, durable, easy to install and provide you with
years of reliable service. The mount is designed to be installed on to solid concrete or wood studded
walls. Please review this entire manual before beginning installation. If you are unsure about any
part of the installation process, please consult the advice of a professional installer.
Installation:
Step One:
Disassemble the mount - The Wall mount comes preassembled.
However, before you begin, you will need to detach the display
plate from the wall mount assembly to make installation easier.
Use a 5mm allen wrench to remove the two bolts securing the
display plate to the wall mount assembly.

Step Two:
Mark Your W all - If you are installing on to a wood stud wall, you
will need to use a stud finder to locate the location of a stud in the
wall. Mark your stud.
Use a level to position the wall plate portion of the wall mount
(part C) at the place on the wall you want to install the mount and
make sure the plate is vertically straight. Holding the wall plate to
the wall, use a pencil to mark the 3 points the mount will attach to
the wall.
Step Three:
Drill Pilot Holes - If you are installing on to concrete or solid brick,
you will need to use the included concrete anchors (part B). Drill 10
mm pilot holes approximately 60mm deep. Insert the anchors into
each of the holes.
If you are installing onto drywall with wood studs, drill 3 mm pilot
holes approximately 60mm deep into the stud.
Step Four:
Attach The Arm Assembly To The Wall - Hold up the arm
assembly to the wall. Line up the holes on the wall plate to the
pilot holes and fasten the plate to the wall with the lag bolts (part
A).

Step Five
Attach the Display Mounting Plate to the Display - After
having prepped your flat panel display by removing any
table stands as instructed in the manual for your display,
attach the display mounting plate to the back of your
display. Use four machine screws provided by your
display manufacturer to attach the plate to the back of the
display. If no screws were included with your display,
contact the manufacturer of your display to find out the
appropriate size needed and purchase them at a local
hardware store.
Step Six.
Attach the Display to the Mounting Arm - Lift the display up to the extension arm on the wall plate
assembly and reattach the display plate to the end of the wall plate assembly arm and fasten it with
the allen bolts you removed earlier.
Congratulations! You’re done.
The mount comes with an adjustment knob on top to adjust the tension of the side to side swivel and
allows you to lock the display in position. The arm allows the display to extend, retract, tilt up and tilt
down. There is a tension adjust lever on the side of the mount that allows you to adjust the tension of
movement and lock the extension and tilt position.
