SAFETY WARNINGS AND GUIDELINES
Please read this entire manual before using this device, paying extra attention to these
safety warnings and guidelines. Please keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
This monitor is intended for indoor use only.
Do not expose this monitor to water or moisture of any kind. Do not place drinks or
other containers with moisture on or near the device. If moisture does get in or on
the device, immediately unplug it from the power outlet and allow it to fully dry
before reapplying power.
Do not touch the monitor, the power cord, or any other connected cables with wet
hands.
Do not place the monitor on an unstable surface where it could fall and cause either
personal injury or damage to the monitor and/or other equipment.
Do not subject the monitor to extreme force, shock, or fluctuations in temperature
or humidity.
Do not expose this monitor to excessively high temperatures. Do not place it in, on,
or near a heat source, such as a fireplace, stove, radiator, etc. Do not leave it in
direct sunlight.
Do not place or install this monitor in an area where it can be exposed to excessive
amounts of dust, humidity, oil, smoke, or combustible vapors.
Do not block the ventilation holes in the monitor's casing. Do not place the monitor
in a confined space with inadequate ventilation. Periodically check the ventilation
holes to ensure they do not become clogged with dust, debris, or nearby items.
Prior to operation, check the monitor and power cord for physical damage. Do not
use if physical damage has occurred.
Before plugging the monitor into a power outlet, ensure that the outlet provides
the same type and level of power required by the device.
Unplug this monitor from the power source when not in use.

Take care to prevent damage to the power cord. Do not allow it to become
crimped, pinched, walked on, or become tangled with other cords. Ensure that the
power cord does not present a tripping hazard.
Never unplug the monitor by pulling on the power cord. Always grasp the
connector head or adapter body.
Ensure that power is turned off and disconnected before making any electrical
connections.
Clean using a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use chemical cleaners, solvents, or
detergents. For stubborn deposits, moisten the cloth with warm water.
This monitor has no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open, service, or
modify this device.
Do not leave a single image on the display for a long period of time. Doing so could
cause "burn-in" of the image. It is recommended to use a variable desktop
background and to use a screen saver to prevent "burn-in". Alternatively, ensure
that the monitor is powered off for at least 2 hours out of every 12.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Controls
1. EXIT: When no menu is displayed, press the EXIT button to display the OSD Menu
with the Input Source submenu selected. When a submenu is displayed, press the
EXIT button to exit back to the Main Menu. When on the Main Menu, press the EXIT
button to close the OSD Menu. When editing a value, press the EXIT button to
cancel any changes and return to the submenu.
2. MENU: When no menu is displayed, press the MENU button to display the OSD
Menu. When the OSD menu is displayed, press the MENU button to enter the
highlighted submenu. When editing a value, press the MENU button to save the
changes and exit back to the submenu.
3. ▼/-: When a menu is displayed, press the ▼/- button to move the highlight down.
If editing a value, press the ▼/- button to decrease the displayed value.
4. ▲/+: When a menu is displayed, press the ▲/+ button to move the highlight up. If
editing a value, press the ▲/+ button to increase the displayed value.
5. 4:3: Press the 4:3 button to cycle the aspect ratio through the Full Screen, Auto, 4:3,
and 1:1 settings.
6. : Press the button to turn the monitor on or put it in standby mode.

should be used for charging.

Input Source Submenu
DP: Selects the DisplayPort® 1.2 video input.
HDMI: Selects the HDMI® 2.0a video input.
Type-c: Selects the USB Type-C™ video input.

Brightness/Contrast Submenu
Brightness: Adjusts the screen brightness from 0~100.
Contrast: Adjusts the screen contrast from 0~100.
DCR: Turns Dynamic Contrast Ratio On or Off.
Low Blue: Adjusts the level of blue light reduction. The possible options are Off,
Weak, Medium, Strong, and Strongest.

Color Settings Submenu
Gamma: Adjusts the Gamma level. The possible options are 1.8, 2.0, 2.2, 2.4, and 2.6.
ECO Mode: Biases the screen settings for different types of content. The possible
options are Standard, Text, FPS, RTS, Movie, and ECO.
Color Temperature: Adjusts the screen color temperature. The possible options are
5000K, 6500K, 9300K, and User.
Hue: Adjusts the screen hue setting from 0~100.
Saturation: Adjusts the screen saturating setting from 0~100.

Picture Quality Settings Submenu
Sharpness: Adjusts the screen sharpness from 0~100 in increments of 10.
Response Time: Turns the response time overdrive setting on or off.
Nose Reduction: Adjusts the amount of screen noise reduction. The possible options
are Off, Low, Middle, and High.

Aspect Ratio: Adjusts the screen aspect ratio. The possible options are Full Screen,
Auto, 4:3, and 1:1.

Audio Settings Submenu
Mute: Turns audio muting on or off.
Volume: Adjusts the volume level from 0~100.
Audio Source: Selects the video source for audio. The possible options are Auto, DP,
HDMI, and Type-C.

Multi-window Settings Submenu
Multi-Window: Allows selection of one of the multi-window display types. The
possible options are Off, PIP Mode (Picture in Picture), and PBY2Win (Picture by
Picture).
SubWin2 Input: Allows select of a secondary video source for use with the PIP and
PBY2Win modes. The possible options are DP, HDMI, and Type-C.
PIP Size: Sets the size of Picture in Picture window. The possible options are Small,
Medium, Large, and Huge.
PIP Position: Sets the position of the Picture in Picture window. The possible
options are Top Right, Top Left, Bottom Right, and Bottom Left.
Swap: Swaps the main and secondary inputs.

OSD Settings Submenu
Language: Allows selection of the language to use in the OSD menu. The possible
options are English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese, Traditional Chinese,
Korean, and Japanese.
Menu Transparency: Adjusts the level of opacity/transparency of the OSD menu
from 0~100.
OSD H Position: Sets the horizontal position of the OSD menu from 0~100.
OSD V Position: Sets the vertical position of the OSD menu from 0~100.
OSD Time: Sets the amount of time of no activity before the OSD menu
automatically closes from 5~60 seconds.
Menu Rotation: Rotates the OSD menu. The possible options are 0, 90, 180, and 270
degrees.

Other Settings Submenu
FreeSync Mode: Turns the AMD FreeSync™ feature on or off.
HDR: Turns the High Dynamic Range feature on or off. The possible options are
Auto, On, and Off.
USB FW Upgrade: Select this option to upgrade the monitor's firmware from a USB
stick.
Factory Reset: Select this option to reset the monitor's settings to their factory
default values.
