SAFETY WARNINGS AND GUIDELINES

This device is intended for indoor use only.
Do not expose this device to water or moisture of any kind. Do not
place drinks or other containers with moisture on or near the device.
If moisture does get in or on the device, immediately unplug it from
the power outlet and allow it to fully dry before reapplying power.
Do not touch the device, the power cord, or any other connected
cables with wet hands.
Do not expose this device to excessive vibration.
Do not subject the product to extreme force, shock, or fluctuations
in temperature or humidity.
Do not expose this device to excessively high temperatures. Do not
place it in, on, or near a heat source, such as a fireplace, stove,
radiator, etc. Do not leave it in direct sunlight.
Ensure that power is turned off and disconnected before making
any electrical connections.
Clean using a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use chemical cleaners,
solvents, or detergents. For stubborn deposits, moisten the cloth
with warm water.
This device has no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open,
service, or modify this device.

INTRODUCTION
This 2-Port USB and DisplayPort® KVM Switch allows you to use a single
DisplayPort monitor, USB keyboard, USB mouse, microphone, and
headphones/speakers with two desktop or laptop computers. Two sets
of USB, DisplayPort, and audio cables are built into the switch for
connecting the two computers and a basic push-button switches the
computer being controlled. It can draw all the power it needs from the
USB bus, but if bus power is not enough, a micro USB power port allows
you to use a wall charger or other USB power source to power the
switch.

INSTALLATION
Perform the following steps to install this KVM switch.
1. Plug a USB mouse, USB keyboard, DisplayPort® monitor,
microphone, and headphones/speakers into the Console Ports on
the KVM switch.
Note: If you want to connect additional USB peripherals to use with the
two computers, plug a USB hub (not included) into one of the USB ports
on the switch, then plug the keyboard, mouse, and other USB peripherals
into the USB hub.
2. Plug one set of the USB cable, DisplayPort cable, and audio cables
into the first computer, then do the same for the second computer.
3. (Optional) If the connected computers cannot provide sufficient
power through the USB bus, plug one end of a micro USB cable (not
included) into the Micro USB Power Port on the switch, then plug
the other end into a USB power source, such as a wall charger or
powered USB hub.

OPERATION
Momentarily press the button on the Remote Port Selector to
switch the computer being controlled.
Press and hold the button on the Remote Port Selector to enable or
disable monitor re-detection mode on the selected computer.
