This device is intended for indoor use only.
Do not expose this device to water or moisture of any kind. Do not place drinks or
other containers with moisture on or near the device. If moisture does get in or on
the device, immediately unplug it from the power outlet and allow it to fully dry
before reapplying power.
Do not subject the product to extreme force, shock, or fluctuations in temperature
or humidity.
Do not expose this device to excessively high temperatures. Do not place it in, on,
or near heat sources, such as a fireplace, stove, radiator, etc. Do not leave it in direct
sunlight.
Clean using a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use chemical cleaners, solvents, or
detergents. For stubborn deposits, moisten the cloth with warm water.
This device has no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open, service, or
modify this device.
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing this All-in-One Meeting Room Wide Angle USB Conference
Camera from Monoprice! This camera features a wide angle HD lens, speaker, and
microphone in a single, compact package. It connects to a computer using a single USB 2.0
connection to carry HD video, full duplex audio, and power to the camera. It is plug and
play and requires no drivers for computers running Windows®, Mac® OS X®, Chrome OS™,
and Linux®. It is compatible with most conferencing applications, such as Skype® and
Google Hangouts™. In addition to being used for conferencing, it can be switched to Hi-Fi
mode for use as a high quality speaker for listening to music.

CONNECTION AND SETUP
Use the included USB cable to connect the camera to a computer running the Windows®,
Mac® OS X®, or Chrome OS™ operating system. The computer should automatically
configure itself to use it for video and audio input and as a speaker. If it does not, configure
your computer using the instructions in one of the sections below.
Windows®
Choose the USB Audio Device Speaker on the Output Device or Playback tab in the
Sound Settings of Control Panel.
Choose the USB Audio Device Microphone on the Input Device or Recording tab in
the Sound Settings of Control Panel.
Ensure that the Conferencing App is allowed to access the camera and choose the
USB Camera in the settings of the Conferencing App.

Mac® OS X®
Choose the USB Camera in the settings of the Conferencing App.
Choose the USB Audio Device option in the System Preferences > Sound > Input
tab. Or choose the USB Audio Device in the Conferencing App.
Choose the USB Audio Device option in the System Preferences > Sound > Output
tab. Alternatively, choose the USB Audio Device in the Conferencing App.
Chrome OS™
Choose the USB Camera in the settings of the Conferencing App.
Choose the USB Audio Device for the Microphone and Speakers in the
Conferencing App.
OPERATION
Speaker Volume
Use the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons to adjust the speaker volume level.
Microphone Mute
Press the Mute button to disable the microphone. The LED Status Indicator will
change from blue to red.
Press the Mute button again to re-enable the microphone. The LED Status Indicator
will change from red to blue.
Hi-Fi Mode
Press the Hi-Fi button to enable Hi-Fi Mode. The microphone will be disabled, the
audio output will be boosted, and the LED Status Indicator will change from blue to
green.

Press the Hi-Fi button again the return to Conference Meeting Mode. The
microphone will be enabled, the audio output will be returned to normal, and the
LED Status Indicator will change from green to blue.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Q1: The camera does not power up.
A1: Ensure the USB cable is connected properly to the camera and computer. Ensure that
the USB cable does not exceed 16 feet in length. Ensure that the Conferencing App is
properly configured to use the camera.
Q2: The microphone is not working.
A2: Ensure that tat the Conferencing App is configured to use the microphone. Ensure that
the microphone is not muted. Ensure that Hi-Fi Mode is not enabled.
Q3: There is no sound output from the speaker.
A3: Ensure that the speaker is set as the default sound output device in the computer's
system settings. Adjust the volume level. Ensure that the speaker is not muted.
