INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing this 1x2 HDMI® Splitter!
This splitter accepts a single High Speed HDMI signal with a maximum resolution of
1080p@30Hz and splits the signal to two outputs. If the output device is capable of
displaying 4K video, the scaler will automatically kick in and upscale the video to 4K@24Hz
or 30Hz.

CONNECTION
1. Ensure that all devices that will be
connected are powered off and
unplugged from their power sources.
2. Using a High Speed HDMI® Cable (not
included), plug one end into the HDMI
input on your display, then plug the other
end into one of the OUT ports. Repeat for
the second output and display.
3. Using a High Speed HDMI Cable (not
included), plug one end into the IN port
on the splitter, then plug the other end
into the output on your HDMI source
device.
4. Plug the DC barrel connector on the AC
power adapter into the DC/5V power jack
on the splitter, then plug the adapter into
a nearby AC power source.
5. Plug in and power on the connected devices, then start playback from the HDMI
source and verify that audio and video is output correctly to the displays.
Note: The HDMI output LED indicators illuminate whenever an HDMI signal with
HDCP is detected. If the HDMI signal does not contain HDCP, the indicators will
remain off.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Q1: No output to either display.
A1: Perform the following checks:
Check the LED power indicator. If it is not illuminated, check that the AC power
adapter is plugged into a live AC power source by plugging a different device, such
as a lamp, into the AC power source.
Verify that the HDMI video source is playing video.
Try swapping the HDMI cable between the splitter and the video source with a
known good cable.
Q2: No output to only one of the displays.
A2: Perform the following checks:
Check that the display is powered on and that it is set to the correct video input.
Try swapping out the HDMI cable between the splitter and the display with a
known good cable.
Q3: The output is not being upscaled to 4K.
A3: Perform the following checks:
Verify that the display is capable of and configured for 4K operation with input from
the HDMI port.
Verify that you are using High Speed HDMI Cables. Try swapping out the cables for
known good ones.
