This speaker features a Bluetooth radio, allowing for wireless connections with your mobile devices. It is waterproof with an IPX6 rating, making it safe for use in all weather conditions. This device contains a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, which can provide up to 9 hours of audio playback. The battery should be fully charged prior to initial use and at least once every 3 months. Perform the following steps to charge the battery in this speaker.
1. Open the cover seal on the side to reveal the charging port.
2. Using the included micro USB cable, plug one end into the micro USB port on the
speaker, then plug the other end into a USB power source, such as a computer port or wall charger.
3. An LED under the front grille, next to the charging port, will glow

Perform the following steps to pair this speaker with your Bluetooth® enabled mobile device.
1. Press and hold the Power button for about 3 seconds to power the speaker on. The
speaker will emit an ascending series of notes and the LED inside the front grille will start blinking blue, indicating that the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
If the speaker has been previously paired with a device, which is powered on, has Bluetooth turned on, and is within range, it will automatically reconnect. If you wish to pair the speaker with another device, press and hold the Power button for about 2 seconds to clear the existing pairing and put the speaker into Bluetooth pairing mode.

To use the speaker with non-Bluetooth® enabled devices, you can use the included audio cable to connect the headphone output of your device to the auxiliary input on the speaker. Perform the following steps to use a wired connection.
1. Open the cover seal on the side to reveal the 3.5mm auxiliary input.
2. Using the included 3.5mm audio cable, plug one end into the auxiliary input on the
speaker, then plug the other end into the headphone output on your mobile device. The Bluetooth radio is disabled whenever a cable is plugged into the speaker's auxiliary input.
3. When you are finished, unplug the audio cable from the speaker and close the cover
seal. Ensure that the seal is fully closed and properly seated to restore the waterproof status.
