• Note to Installer – Be sure to leave these
instructions with the Consumer.
• Note to Consumer – Keep these instructions
with your Owner’s Manual for future reference.
• Skill Level – Installation of this kit requires basic
mechanical skills. Proper installation is the
responsibility of the installer. Product failure due
to improper installation is not covered under the
GE Appliance Warranty.
• Completion Time – 20 to 30 minutes.
If you received a damaged kit, you should
immediately contact your dealer or builder.

REMOVE BOTTOM TRIM COVER
ON TOP DRAWER
Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to unscrew the

three screws on the bottom trim cover.
NOTE: Support weight of trim panel as trim
cover is removed (if applicable).
CAUTION: Door panels may have
sharp edges.
FOR YOUR SAFETY: Read and observe
all CAUTIONS and WARNINGS shown throughout
these instructions.
PARTS SUPPLIED
Remove the hardware accessory bag and other
parts from inside the packaging. Check contents
against illustrations to ensure that all parts are
included.

Screws (6)
Doors With Handles (2)
Remove trim panel by sliding downward (if

applicable).

MOUNT FOAM PAD TO UPPER DRAWER
Slowly peel off the adhesive backing from the

foam pad.
Center the foam pad on the front face of the
B
drawer with the adhesive side facing the drawer.
Position the top surface of the pad against the
C
top trim cover.
NOTE: Refer to illustration for correct placement.

Peel clear protective lining from door panel.

Using three of the provided screws, attach the

bottom of the door panel to the bottom of the door.
NOTE: Press on door panel to align screw holes.
CAUTION: Door panel may have
sharp edges.

REMOVE LOWER DRAWER DOOR
Open the lower drawer and use a Phillips-head
A
screwdriver to remove the bottom two screws
from each side.
Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen the
B
top two screws ¼″ from the door.
Hook the lip of the door panel over the edge of
B
the top trim cover.
Rotate the bottom of the door panel under the
C
bottom trim cover until the door panel is fully
seated.
Remove the door by pulling upward and outward.

REMOVE BOTTOM TRIM COVER
ON LOWER DOOR
Flip the door upside down.

Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to unscrew the

three screws on the bottom trim cover.
Remove trim panel by sliding upward (if

applicable).

INSTALL DOOR PANEL ON LOWER DOOR
Peel clear protective lining from door panel.

Lay the back of the door on the floor.
C
Hook the lip of the door panel over the edge of
the top trim cover.
Rotate the bottom of the door panel under the

bottom trim cover until the door panel is fully
seated.
E
Flip the door upside down.
Using three of the provided screws, attach the

bottom of the door panel to the bottom of the door.

REMOUNT LOWER DRAWER DOOR
Position the door so that the flange is positioned

above the bottom of the drawer and the top two
loosened screws are lined up with the slotted
screw holes.
Install the door onto the two screws.

Rotate the top of the door forward until the

flange drops below the bottom of the drawer.

Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to screw the bottom

four screws into the door and tighten the top two
screws.
