MSW-10
The MSW-10 is an ultra-compact but awesomely
powerful subwoofer equipped with a potent integral
100 Watt class A-B amplier. The MSW’s rigid,
curved and cubic MDF cabinet houses a long-
throw 10” driver, which is forward-ring to make
the process of positioning the MSW-10 as simple
and fuss-free as possible. Although designed
to underpin the Monitor series standmount and
oorstanding speakers with deep controlled bass
frequencies, the MSW-10 will integrate beautifully and
easily with any compact, high performance home
theatre system by adjusting its variable volume control,
its wide range of crossover adjustment between 45Hz
and 150Hz, and its phase switch.
Stereo line and LFE inputs allow the MSW-10 to
contribute a seismic dimension to both music and
multichannel movie systems. For added convenience,
the MSW-10s signal sensing feature automatically
turns it on and off at either end of a performance.
M6
The Monitor 6 extends the musical reach of the
marque by providing a still wider bandwidth, high
power handling, greater efficiency and more effortlessly
realised dynamics. No fewer than three MMP
®
II
drivers share the frequencies right up to the crossover
with the C-CAM
®
tweeter. The lower unit handles
deep bass, the other pair provide punchy upper bass
and the signature Monitor Audio mid-band response.
A beautifullly crafted rigid cabinet, 3-D contoured
grilles and reflex port technology complete a
worldclass speaker design, which delivers
unprecedented effortlessness, bass weight and
extension.
Mcentre
The M centre is the vital aesthetic and sonic link in any
Monitor series-based home cinema or multi-channel
music system. Bringing extra solidity, depth and
realism to the front soundstage, especially with
dialogue. Recognising that the centre is often the
hardest working speaker in an A/V system, the new M
centre has been designed with two 5.5-inch MMP
®
II
bass-mid drivers that hand over to the C-CAM
®
tweeter at 2.6KHz. A special crossover network
ensures the M centre has excellent vertical and
horizontal off axis frequency response, eliminating the
need for a ‘hot seat’ listening position and integrating
smoothly with the Monitor M2, M4 or M6 in a home
theatre set-up. An easy amplifier load, the M centre
will get the best from even lower powered A/V
amplifiers (receivers). It can be driven to respectable
levels with a modest 20 Watts.
