The Mission
Monarch Amplification is founded on passion, focused toward the future of live sound production. My mission is to bring forth technologically advanced solutions, each specifically engineered to perfectly satisfy a set of requirements for the modern touring musician. I do not believe in false claims, hocus pocus marketing, or fudged specifications. Each product shipped from Monarch Amplification has my personal guarantee of quality and is conceived, engineered, troubleshot, manufactured, and supported in the United States with as many American-made parts as possible. The Monarch brand brings together pure and classic, hand-wired, single-ended, class A tone, and then bootstraps it to a super high efficiency, class D power generation engine. Players gain features they have never accessed before, such as post-tube-power effects looping, volume-decoupled 6SL7 and 6V6 tube distortion, and post-power tube transformer balanced XLR DI. Each amplifier is a quality focused, feature-packed, 1500 watt, sonic euphoria machine in a 15 pound package. You should expect the best when you go with Monarch, because what you get is The Monarch of all Amplification Rigs.
I sincerely thank you for purchasing your Mod6G amplifier. I am sure you will find many years of excitement and enjoyment playing through it. I stand behind my products proudly, and am happy to answer any questions that you might have, directly. Feel free to contact me via the contact page on www.monarchamp.com, even if you just want to make a comment.
Sincerely,
Kevin J Wehrle President/Engineer
Front Panel
Input: This guitar signal input impedance is ~ 1 Megohms. Input and interstage wiring utilizes
shielded conductor to minimize radio frequency interference and noise.
Gain: Adjusting the output level on your guitar or utilizing a volume pedal between your guitar and
the input jack of your Mod6G controls the amount of signal that enters the first 6SL7 preamp gain stage. The Gain control on your Mod6G controls the amount of signal that enters the second 6SL7 preamp gain stage as well as the amount that enters the 6V6 power gain stage. This control is used to alter signal to produce tones from clean to heavily distorted.
Low: Adjusting the level on this control effects the low frequency signal level on your Mod6G
amplifier. This is a passive, shelf-type equalization circuit that dynamically effects the output level of frequencies between 0hz and 200hz. This control interacts with the Mid and High controls to alter the effected low frequency range of the shelf.
Mid: Adjusting the level on this control effects the middle frequency signal level on your Mod6G
amplifier. This is a passive, subtractive circuit centered around the 600-800hz range. This control interacts with the Low and High controls to alter the effected middle frequency range. With Low and High controls set to minimum, the Mid control functions as an overall signal level control governing how much signal the 6V6 power tube receives.
High: Adjusting the level on this control effects the high frequency signal level on your Mod6G
amplifier. This is a passive, shelf-type equalization circuit that dynamically effects the output level of frequencies between 1Khz and 20Khz. This control interacts with the Low and Mid controls to alter the effected high frequency range of the shelf.
FX ON/FX OFF: This switch enables or disables the post-power effects loop on your Mod6G
amplifier. When in "on" position, the effects loop is active. When in "off" position, the effects loop circuit is completely bypassed.
FX Level: Adjusting the level on this knob effects the amount of signal passed on through the effects
send jack and to any effects units connected through the effects loop on your Mod6G amplifier.
FX Send: This jack is where line level effects pedals or studio effects rack units should be connected to
your Mod6G amplifier. Connect their inputs here.
FX Return: This jack is where line level effects pedals or studio effects rack units should be connected
to your Mod6G amplifier. Connect their outputs here.
