9 Die BNC-Buchse MONITOR OUT liefert ein Video-

signal für den Anschluß eines Monitors zur Darstellung der Kameras oder einer Videoaufzeichnung in der gewählten Ansicht.

10 Die BNC-Buchse QUAD OUT liefert ein Video-

signal mit allen vier Kamerabildern in der Quadrantendarstellung für den Anschluß eines Videorecorders oder eines zweiten Monitors, der permanent das Vierfachbild zeigen soll.

11 Die BNC-Buchse VCR IN dient zum Anschluß

eines Videorecorders für die Wiedergabe einer Aufzeichnung.

12 Die BNC-Buchsen VIDEO IN 1 ... 4 dienen dem

Anschluß der Kameras. Die Quadrantensymbole zeigen, an welcher Position im Vierfachbild das jeweilige Kamerabild auf dem Monitor erscheint.

13 Die Buchse DC IN dient zum Anschluß der Span-

nungsversorgung (12V /500 mA, der innere Kontakt ist positiv).

2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch

Das Gerät entspricht der Richtlinie für elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG.

●

Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbereich. Schützen Sie es vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0–40°C).

●

Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Wasser oder Chemikalien.

●

Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, falsch bedient oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann für eventuelle Schäden keine Haftung übernommen werden.

●

Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben Sie es zur Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

3 Anwendungsmöglichkeiten

Der Farb-Video-Quad-Prozessor TVSP-42COL ist für den Einsatz in Video-Überwachungsanlagen konzipiert. Das Gerät ermöglicht es, bis zu vier Kamerabilder (S/ W oder Farbe im PAL- oder NTSC-Standard) einzeln oder als Vierfachbild (Quadrantendarstellung) zu zeigen und gleichzeitig auf einem Videorecorder aufzuzeichnen. Bei der Wiedergabe einer Videoaufzeichnung ist es möglich, ein Viertelbild als Vollbild vergrößert darzustellen. Ebenso lassen sich während der Wiedergabe einer Vierfachbildaufzeichnung über den TVSP-42COL die aktuellen vier Kamerasignale mit einem anderen Videorecorder aufnehmen. Der Verlust eines Videosignals bei Ausfall einer Kamera kann durch einen Signalton angezeigt werden.

4 Gerät anschließen

4.1 Kameras

Bis zu vier Kameras an die Eingangsbuchsen VIDEO IN 1 ... 4 (12) anschließen.

4.2 Monitor

Den Monitor an die Buchse MONITOR OUT (9) anschließen.

4.3 Videorecorder

Zur Aufzeichnung der Kamerabilder als Vierfachbild den Video-Eingang des Videorecorders mit der Buchse QUAD OUT (10) verbinden. Für die Wiedergabe der Aufzeichnung den Video-Ausgang des Videorecorders mit der Buchse VCR IN (1 1) verbinden.

4.4 Stromversorgung

Nach dem Anschluß aller übrigen Geräte ein Netzgerät 12V /500 mAan die Buchse DC IN (13) anschließen, z.B. PS-90GS, MIDI-125 oder PS-1204ST von MONACOR. Es wird ein Kleinspannungsstecker 5,5/2,1mm (Außen-/Innendurchmesser) benötigt. Dabei ist auf die Polung zu achten: der innere Kontakt muß positiv sein.

5 Bedienung

Nach dem Anschließen der Versorgungsspannung ist ein kurzer Signalton ist zu hören. Nach ca. 2s zeigt der TVSP-42COLdas Vierfachbild der Betriebsart „Normal“.

Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme sind die vom Hersteller vorprogrammierten Grundeinstellungen (siehe Tabelle „Voreinstellungen” im Kapitel 5.3) wirksam. Zum Ändern der Geräteeinstellungen lesen Sie bitte Kapitel 5.2 „Änderung der Geräteeinstellungen”.

5.1 Betriebsarten

5.1.1 Normal (QUAD)

Die Betriebsart „Normal” ist aktiviert, sobald die Versorgungsspannung anliegt. Die angeschlossenen Kameras werden als Vierfachbild (Quadrantendarstellung) angezeigt. Die LED über der QUAD-Taste (5) leuchtet. Ist an einem Kameranschluß keine Kamera angeschlossen, so wird der zugeordnete Quadrant grün dargestellt und der Hinweis „VIDEO LOSS” darin eingeblendet. Fällt dagegen eine Kamera im Betrieb aus, so wird das letzte von ihr empfangene Bild in ihrem Quadranten als Standbild „eingefroren” und ebenfalls „VIDEO LOSS” darin eingeblendet. Außerdem ertönt ein Signal für 1 Minute, bzw. bis eine beliebige T aste gedrückt wird (= V oreinstellung, Änderungsmöglichkeiten siehe Kapitel 5.2.2 „Einstellungsmenü Seite 2”).

Durch Drücken einer der Tasten „1“ ( ) bis „4“ ( ) wird auf die Vollbild-Darstellung der entsprechenden Kamera umgeschaltet. Hinweis: Die Bedienung des Geräts in der Betriebsart „Normal” hat keinen Einfluß auf die Videoaufzeichnung. Das Signal am Anschluß QUAD OUT (10) ist unabhängig von der gewählten Monitordarstellung immer ein Vierfachbild.

5.1.2 Automatik (AUTO)

Diese Betriebsart wird durch Drücken der AUTO-Taste (6) gewählt und startet die automatische Weiterschaltung (Sequenzschaltung) entsprechend der in den Geräteeinstellungen gewählten Bildfolge. Näheres zu den Einstellungen der Sequenz ist im Kapitel 5.2.2 „Einstellungsmenü Seite 2” beschrieben. Die LED über der AUTO-Taste leuchtet und zusätzlich jeweils die LED des momentan gezeigten Kamerabildes. Kameraeingänge ohne gültiges Videosignal werden automatisch übersprungen.

5.1.3 Standbild (FREEZE)

Für diese Betriebsart zuerst mit der QUAD-Taste (5) auf das Vierfachbild schalten. Die QUAD-Taste erneut betätigen, so daß die LED über der QUAD-T aste blinkt. Es können nun über die Tasten 1 – 4 die Bilder der Quadranten als Standbilder „eingefroren” werden. Die LED über der entsprechenden Taste leuchtet während des Standbildes. Ein erneutes Drücken dieser Taste „taut” das Bild wieder „auf”, d.h. das aktuelle Kamerabild wird wieder angezeigt.

Nach dem Ablauf der in den Geräteeinstellungen gewählten Standbildzeit oder durch ein erneutes Drücken der QUAD-Taste (5) schaltet das Gerät zurück in die Betriebsart „Normal”. Näheres zu den Einstellungen siehe Kapitel 5.2.2 „Einstellungsmenü Seite 2”.

5.1.4 Wiedergabe (PLAY)

Das Drücken der PLAY-Taste (7) schaltet den TVSP42COL in die Wiedergabe-Betriebsart. Die LED über der Taste leuchtet in dieser Betriebsart. Läuft bei dem angeschlossenen Videorecorder die Wiedergabe, wird die Wiedergabe gezeigt. Läuft auf dem Recorder eine Aufnahme, zeigt der Monitor das gerade aufzunehmende Vierfachbild. Wird nun eine der Tasten 1 –4 gedrückt, so wird der entsprechende Quadrant zum Vollbild vergrößert. Erneutes Drücken derselben Taste „friert” das Bild als Standbild „ein” (ohne jedoch den Videorecorder anzuhalten). Die in den Geräteeinstellungen einstellbare Standbildzeit „FREEZE HOLD TIME” ist in der Wiedergabe-Betriebsart ohne Bedeutung. Ein „Auftauen” des Bildes erfolgt nur durch erneutes Drücken derselben Taste.

Durch erneutes Betätigen der PLAY-Taste schaltet das Gerät zurück in die Betriebsart „Normal“. Hinweis: Die Vollbilddarstellung einzelner Quadranten einer Videoaufzeichnung ist nur möglich, wenn in der Geräteeinstellung der „HALF DUPLEX MODE” gewählt ist. Näheres zu dieser Einstellung siehe Kapitel 5.2.2 „Einstellungsmenü Seite 2”.

5.2 Änderung der Geräteeinstellungen

Um den TVSP-42COL optimal in der jeweiligen Überwachungsanlage einzusetzen, lassen sich viele Betriebsparameter ändern. Alle Einstellungen erfolgen über ein Bildschirm-Menü.

Zum Aufrufen dieses Menüs die Taste MENU (8) drücken. Die erste Seite des Menüs erscheint auf dem Monitor (siehe Abb. 3 in Kap. 5.2.1), und die LED über der Taste MENU leuchtet. Befindet sich das Gerät jedoch in der Betriebsart „Wiedergabe” oder „Standbild”, so muß zuerst durch Drücken der PLAY-Taste (7)

bzw. der QUAD-Taste (5) in die Betriebsart „Normal” zurückgewechselt werden.

Für die Bedienung des Einstellungsmenüs sind folgende Tasten erforderlich:

(1) und (2) als Cursor-Tasten zur Auswahl des zu ändernden Parameters. Bei kurzem Drücken ändert sich die Auswahl um eine Position. Durch Gedrückthalten einer dieser Tasten ändert sich die Position fortlaufend. Der angewählte Parameter wird durch Blinken hervorgehoben.

(4) zum Erhöhen oder Verringern des angewählten Parameterwertes um einen Wert bei kurzem Drücken. Wird eine dieser Tasten länger als 1s gedrückt, so ändert sich der Wert fortlaufend.

Die Textfarbe läßt sich ändern, um bei unterschied- lichen Bildinhalten eine gute Lesbarkeit der Texteinblendungen zu erreichen. Eine Menüseite mit der MENU-Taste (8) aufrufen, und mit der AUTO-Taste (6) die Textfarbe zwischen weiß, blau und grün umschalten.

Alle im Einstellungsmenü vorgenommenen Änderungen werden dauerhaft gespeichert, bleiben also auch nach Ausfall der Versorgungsspannung erhalten.

Das Einstellungsmenü wird durch (ggf. wiederholtes) Drücken der Taste MENU (8) wieder verlassen.

5.2.1 Einstellungsmenü Seite 1

Folgende Parameter können auf dieser Menüseite eingestellt werden:

DATE FORMAT bestimmt das Datumsformat, d. h. die Reihenfolge von Tages- (DD), Monats- (MM) und Jahreszahl(YY). Gewählt werden kann zwischen (YY/MM/DD) und (MM/DD/YY).

DATE bestimmt, ob das Datum ins Bild eingeblendet wird (ON) oder nicht (OFF). Daneben kann das aktuelle Datum in dem oben gewählten Format eingestellt werden.

TIME bestimmt, ob die Uhrzeit ins Bild eingeblendet wird (ON) oder nicht (OFF). Daneben kann die aktuelle Uhrzeit eingestellt werden. Die interne Uhr ist batteriegepuffert und läuft daher auch bei Unterbrechung der Stromversorgung weiter.

und Uhrzeit auf dem Bildschirm erscheinen soll. Dabei stehen folgende sechs Positionen zur Auswahl: BOTTOM unten in der Mitte TOP oben in der Mitte LEFT TOP oben links RIGHT TOP oben rechts LEFT BOTTOM unten links RIGHT BOTTOM unten rechts

TITLE ermöglicht es, je einen Namen für die Kameras zu vergeben. Dieser kann aus bis zu acht Zeichen bestehen. Zur Verfügung stehen Groß- und Kleinbuchstaben, Ziffern und verschiedene Sonderzeichen. Außerdem kann für jede Kamera festgelegt werden, ob ihr Name eingeblendet werden soll (ON) oder nicht (OFF).

Hinweis: Die Einblendmöglichkeiten von Kameratiteln, Datum und Uhrzeit gelten nur für das Vierfachbild. In der Vollbilddarstellung werden keine Texte eingeblendet.

TEST PATTERN – COLOR BAR ermöglicht es, zur Justierung des Monitors ein Farbbalken-Testbild einzublenden (ON).

Der TVSP-42COL unterstützt die Videonormen CCIR / PALund EIA/NTSC. Er stellt sich automatisch auf das anliegende Signal ein, kann aber auch manuell umgestellt werden. Zur manuellen Normumschaltung eine Menüseite mit der MENU-Taste (8) aufrufen, die QUAD-Taste (5) gedrückt halten, und zusätzlich die MENU-Taste betätigen. Der TVSP-42COL schaltet jetzt auf die jeweils andere Videonorm um. Welche Videonorm aktuell eingestellt ist, wird auf der ersten Seite des Einstellungsmenüs unten links angezeigt. Stimmt die eingestellte Videonorm des TVSP-42COL mit der des Monitors nicht überein, läuft das Bild auf dem Monitor in Schwarzweiß durch.

5.2.2 Einstellungsmenü Seite 2

Folgende Parameter können auf dieser Menüseite eingestellt werden:

SEQUENCE ermöglicht für die automatische Bildweiterschaltung (Betriebsart „Automatik”) eine beliebige Bildfolge aus bis zu acht Schritten zu programmieren. Es kann dabei zwischen den Vollbildern der einzelnen Kameras („1”, „2”, „3”, „4”) und dem Vierfachbild („Q”) gewählt werden. Positionen mit der gewählten Option „

” überspringt das Gerät.

DWELL TIME bestimmt eine individuelle Verweildauer von 1 – 9 s für jedes in der Zeile SEQUENCE gewählte Bild.

BUZZER bestimmt, ob der Verlust eines Videosignals bei Ausfall einer Kamera durch einen Signalton gemeldet werden soll (ON) oder nicht (OFF). Zudem läßt sich einstellen, wie lange der Signalton zu hören sein soll (1 – 99 min.), wenn er nicht durch Drücken einer beliebigen Taste abgeschaltet wird.

FREEZE HOLD TIME bestimmt, wie lange der TVSP-42COL in der Standbild-Betriebsart verweilt, bevor er automatisch wieder in die Betriebsart „Normal” zurück wechselt. Ein vorzeitiger manueller Betriebsartwechsel ist immer möglich. Es läßt sich eine Dauer von 1–99s wählen; werden 0 s eingestellt, so bleibt die Betriebsart „Standbild” bestehen, bis sie manuell wieder verlassen wird.

DUPLEX MODE ermöglicht folgende Einstellungen: HALF In der Wiedergabe-Betriebsart ist eine Vollbild-

darstellung der aufgezeichneten Quadranten möglich, jedoch nicht gleichzeitig die Ausgabe der aktuellen Kamerabilder über den Anschluß QUAD OUT (10).

FULL In der Wiedergabe-Betriebsart ist keine Voll-

bilddarstellung der aufgezeichneten Quadranten möglich. Es wird dadurch eine kontinuierliche Ausgabe der aktuellen Kamerabilder über den Anschluß QUAD OUT für die Aufnahme auf einem weiteren Recorder gewährleistet.

5.2.3 Einstellungsmenü Seite 3

Auf dieser Menüseite können folgende Werte für jedes Kamerabild separat eingestellt werden:

BRIGHT Helligkeit CONTRAST Kontrast CHROMA Farbsättigung SHARP Bildschärfe

Alle Werte sind in von 0–64 einstellbar.

5.3 Rücksetzen sämtlicher Geräteeinstellungen / Übersicht der Voreinstellungen

Sämtliche Einstellungen des TVSP-42COLlassen sich auf die vom Werk voreingestellten Werte zurücksetzen. Dazu die MENU-Taste (8) drücken. Die LED über der Taste leuchtet daraufhin. Anschließend die PLAYTaste (7) gedrückt halten, und zusätzlich die MENUTaste (8) betätigen.

Achtung: Die Aktivierung dieser Option löscht alle vom Benutzer vorgenommenen Einstellungen unwie- derbringlich und ersetzt sie durch die im Werk festgelegten Voreinstellungen.

9 The BNC jack MONITOR OUT supplies a video

signal for connecting a monitor to display the cameras or a video recording in the selected view.

10 The BNC jack QUAD OUT supplies a video signal

with all four camera pictures in quad display for connecting a video recorder or a second monitor which is to display the quad picture permanently.

11 The BNC jack VCR IN serves to connect a video

recorder to reproduce a recording.

12 The BNC jacks VIDEO IN 1…4 serve to connect

the cameras. The quadrant symbols indicate the position of the individual camera picture in the quad display on the monitor.

13 The jack DC IN serves to connect the power supply

(12V / 500 mA, the internal contact is positive).

2 Safety Notes

This unit corresponds to the directive for electromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC.

●

The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it against humidity and heat (admissible ambient temperature range 0–40°C).

●

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no means chemicals or water.

●

If the unit is used for other purposes than originally intended, if it is not operated correctly or not repaired in an expert way, no liability for any damage will be accepted.

●

If the unit is to be put out of operation definitively, take it to a local recycling plant for disposal.

3 Applications

The colour video quad processor TVSP-42COL is designed for application in video surveillance systems. The unit allows the display of individual pictures or a quad picture (display of quadrants) of up to four cameras (B/ W or colour in PAL or NTSC standard) and simultaneous video recording. During reproduction of a video recording, it is possible to display an enlarged quadrant as frame. It is also possible to record the current four camera signals with another video recorder while a quad picture is reproduced by the TVSP42COL. In case of failure of a camera, the loss of a video signal can be indicated by an acoustic signal.

4 Connecting the Unit

4.1 Cameras

Connect up to four cameras to the input jacks VIDEO IN 1 ... 4 (12).

4.2 Monitor

Connect the monitor to the jack MONITOR OUT (9).

4.3 Video recorder

To record the camera pictures as quad picture, connect the video input of the video recorder to the

jack QUAD OUT (10). To reproduce the recording, connect the video output of the video recorder to the jack VCR IN (11).

4.4 Power supply

After connecting all other units, connect a power supply unit 12 V / 500 mA to the jack DC IN (13), e. g. PS-90GS, MIDI-125, or PS-1204ST from MONACOR. A low voltage plug 5.5/2.1 mm (outside/inside diameter) is required. Observe the correct polarity: the internal contact must be positive.

5 Operation

After connecting the unit to the power supply, a short acoustic signal can be heard. After approx. 2 s, the TVSP-42COL displays the quad picture of the operating mode “Normal”.

During initial operation, the preprogrammed basic settings made in the factory are effective (see table “Presettings” in chapter 5.3). To change the settings of the unit, please read chapter 5.2 “Changing the settings of the unit”.

5.1 Operating modes

5.1.1 Normal (QUAD)

The operating mode “Normal” is activated as soon as the unit is connected to the power supply. The connected cameras are displayed as quad picture (display of quadrants). The LED above the QUAD button (5) lights up. If there is a camera jack without a camera connected, the respective quadrant is green and “VIDEO LOSS” is inserted in this quadrant. However, if a camera fails during operation, the last picture received from this camera is “frozen” in its quadrant as still picture and “VIDEO LOSS” is also inserted. In addition, an acoustic signal sounds for 1 minute or until any button is pressed (= presetting, possibilities for changes see chapter 5.2.2 “Setting menu, page 2”).

By pressing any of the buttons “1” ( ) to “4” ( ), the unit switches to the frame of the respective camera. Note: Operation of the unit in the operating mode “Normal” does not affect video recording. Independent of the selected monitor display, the signal at the jack QUAD OUT (10) is always a quad picture.

5.1.2 Automatic (AUTO)

This operating mode is selected by pressing the AUTO button (6) and starts the automatic sequential switching according to the picture sequence selected in the settings of the unit. Detailed information concerning sequence settings can be found in chapter 5.2.2 “Setting menu, page 2”. The LED above the AUTO button lights up together with the respective LED of the camera picture currently displayed. Camera inputs without valid video signal are automatically skipped.

5.1.3 Still picture (FREEZE)

For this operating mode, first use the QUAD button (5) to switch to the quad picture. Actuate the QUAD button once again so that the LED above the QUAD button

blinks. By means of the buttons 1 to 4, it is now possible to “freeze” the pictures of the quadrants as still pictures. During the still picture, the LED above the respective button lights up. By actuating this button once again, the picture is “unfrozen”, i.e. the current camera picture is displayed again.

The unit returns to the operating mode “Normal” after the hold time of the still picture selected in the settings of the unit or upon repeated actuation of the QUAD button (5). Detailed information concerning the settings can be found in chapter 5.2.2 “Setting menu, page 2”.

5.1.4 Reproduction (PLAY)

Pressing the PLAY button (7) switches the TVSP42COL to the reproduction mode. The LED above the button lights up in this operating mode. If the connected video recorder is on reproduction, the reproduction is shown. If the video recorder is on recording, the monitor shows the current quad picture to be recorded. If one of the buttons 1 to 4 is pressed, the respective quadrant is enlarged to frame. Repeated actuation of the same button “freezes” the picture as still picture (however, without stopping the video recorder). The “FREEZE HOLD TIME” which can be adjusted in the settings of the unit does not have any significance in the reproduction mode. The picture can only be “unfrozen” by repeated actuation of the same button.

Upon repeated actuation of the PLAY button, the unit returns to the operating mode “Normal”.

Note: Frame display of individual quadrants in a video recording is only possible if the “HALF DUPLEX MODE” has been selected in the settings of the unit. Detailed information concerning this setting can be found in chapter 5.2.2 “Setting menu, page 2”.

5.2 Changing the settings of the unit

For an optimum application of the TVSP-42COL in the respective surveillance system it is possible to change many operating parameters. All settings are made via a screen menu.

To call this menu, press the button MENU (8). The first page of the menu appears on the monitor (see fig. 3 in chapter 5.2.1) and the LED above the button MENU lights up. However, if the unit is in the operating mode “Reproduction” or “Still picture”, it is necessary to return first to the operating mode “Normal” by pressing the PLAYbutton (7) or the QUAD button (5).

The following buttons are required for operating the setting menu:

(1) and (2) as cursor buttons to select the parameter to be changed. Short pressing changes the selection by one position. If one of these buttons is kept pressed, the position changes continuously. The selected parameter is emphasized by blinking.

+ (3) and

(4) to increase or reduce the selected parameter value by one value in case of short pressing. If one of these buttons is kept pressed for longer than 1 s, the value changes continuously.

T o obtain a good readability of text insertions in case of different picture contents, the text colour can be changed. Call a menu page with the MENU button (8) and use the AUTO button (6) to select one of the optional text colours white, blue, or green.

All changes made in the setting menu are permanently memorized, i. e. they are preserved even in case of power failure.

Leave the setting menu by pressing the button MENU (8) [repeatedly, if necessary].

5.2.1 Setting menu, page 1

The following parameters can be adjusted on this menu page:

DATE FORMAT defines the sequence of day (DD), month (MM), and year (YY). The options are (YY/MM/DD) and (MM/DD/YY).

DATE defines whether the date is inserted (ON) in the picture or not (OFF). In addition, the current date can be adjusted to the format selected above.

TIME defines whether the time is inserted (ON) in the picture or not (OFF). In addition, the current time can be adjusted. The internal clock is battery-buffered and still operates when the power supply is interrupted.

LOCATION defines the position of date and time on the screen. The following six positions are available: BOTTOM TOP LEFT TOP RIGHT TOP LEFT BOTTOM RIGHT BOTTOM

TITLE allows to assign a name to each camera. This name may consist of up to eight characters. Available are capital letters, small letters, numerals, and various special characters. In addition, it is possible to define for each camera whether its name is to be inserted (ON) or not (OFF).

Note: The options to insert camera titles, date, and time only apply to the quad picture. No text is inserted in the frame.

TEST PATTERN – COLOR BAR allows insertion (ON) of a colour bar pattern to adjust the monitor.

The TVSP-42COL supports the video standards CCIR/ PAL and EIA / NTSC. It adjusts itself automatically to the applied signal, however, it can also be readjusted manually. For manual standard selection, call a menu page with the MENU button (8), keep the

QUAD button (5) pressed and additionally actuate the MENU button. The TVSP-42COL now switches to the respective other video standard. The current video standard is displayed at the left bottom of the first page of the setting menu. If the adjusted video standard of the TVSP-42COL does not correspond to that of the monitor, the picture on the monitor rolls up or down in black and white.

5.2.2 Setting menu, page 2

The following parameters can be adjusted on this menu page:

SEQUENCE allows programming of any sequence of up to eight pictures for the automatic sequential switching (operating mode “Automatic”). The options are the frames of the individual cameras (“1”, “2”, “3”, “4”) and the quad picture (“Q”). Positions with the option “

” are skipped by the unit.

DWELL TIME defines the individual dwell time of 1 to 9s for each picture selected in the line SEQUENCE.

BUZZER defines whether the loss of a video signal due to failure of a camera is to be indicated by an acoustic signal (ON) or not (OFF). In addition, it is possible to define the duration of the acoustic signal (1 to 99min.) if it is not switched off by pressing any button.

FREEZE HOLD TIME defines the time of the TVSP42COL in the still picture mode before returning automatically to the operating mode “Normal”. However, it is possible at any time to change the operating mode manually. A time between 1 and 99 s can be selected. If 0 s is adjusted, the operating mode “Still picture” remains until it is left manually.

DUPLEX MODE allows the following settings: HALF In the reproduction mode, a frame display of

the recorded quadrants is possible, however, no simultaneous reproduction of the current camera pictures via the jack QUAD OUT (10).

FULL In the reproduction mode, no frame display of

the recorded quadrants is possible. Thus, a continuous reproduction of the current camera pictures via the jack QUAD OUT for recording on another video recorder is ensured.

5.2.3 Setting menu, page 3

On this menu page, the following values for each camera picture can be adjusted separately: BRIGHT CONTRAST CHROMA SHARP

All values are adjustable from 0 to 64.

5.3 Total reset of the unit/ Summary of the presettings

A total reset of the TVSP-42COL to the factory-set values is possible. For this purpose, press the MENU button (8). The LED above the button lights up. Then keep the button PLAY (7) pressed and additionally actuate the MENU button (8).

Attention: Activation of this option results in irretrieva- ble loss of all settings made by the user. They are

replaced by the factory-set values. The factory-set values are summarized in the table

below:

2 Conseils d’utilisation

L’appareil répond à la norme européenne 89/336/CEE relative à la compatibilité électromagnétique.

L’appareil n’est conçu que pour une utilisation en intérieur. Protégez-le de l’humidité et de la chaleur (température d’utilisation admissible 0–40°C).

Le séquenceur Quad vidéo couleur TVSP-42COL est conçu pour une utilisation dans des systèmes de surveillance vidéo. L’appareil permet d’afficher jusqu’à quatre images de caméras (N/ B ou couleur au standard PAL ou NTSC) de manière individuelle ou en mode Quad (affichage des quadrants) et de les enregistrer simultanément sur un magnétoscope. Lors de la lecture d’un enregistrement vidéo il est possible d’afficher un quadrant agrandi comme image plein écran. Pendant la lecture d’un enregistrement de l’image Quad via le TVSP-42COL, il est également possible d’enregistrer les quatre signaux actuels des caméras à l’aide d’un magnétoscope supplémentaire. La perte du signal vidéo en cas de défaillance d’une caméra peut être indiquée par un signal acoustique.

4 Branchement de l’appareil

4.1 Caméras

Branchez jusqu’à quatre caméras aux prises VIDEO IN 1…4 (12).

4.2 Moniteur

Branchez le moniteur à la prise MONITOR OUT (9).

4.3 Magnétoscope

Pour l’enregistrement des images de caméras comme image Quad, branchez l’entrée vidéo du magnétoscope à la prise QUAD OUT(10). Pour la lecture de l’enregistrement, branchez la sortie vidéo du magnétoscope à la prise VCR IN (11).

4.4 Alimentation

Une fois les branchements des autres appareils effectués, branchez une alimentation 12V /500mA(p. ex. PS-90GS, MIDI-125, ou PS-1204ST de la gamme MONACOR) à la prise DC IN (13). Une fiche à basse tension 5,5/2,1mm (Ø ext. / int.) est nécessaire. Respectez la polarité: le contact interne doit être positif.

5 Fonctionnement

Une fois le branchement à la tension effectué, un bref signal acoustique résonne. Après 2s environ, le TVSP-42COL affiche l’image Quad du mode “Normal”.

Lors de la première mise en service, les réglages de base ajustés à l’usine sont activés (voir tableau “Préréglages”, chapitre 5.3). Pour modifier les réglages de l’appareil veuillez lire chapitre 5.2 “Modification des réglages de l’appareil”.

5.1 Modes de fonctionnement

5.1.1 Normal (QUAD)

Le mode “Normal” est activé dès que l’appareil sera branché au secteur. Les caméras branchées sont affichées comme image Quad (affichage des quadrants). La diode brille au-dessus de la touche QUAD (5). En cas d’une prise sans caméra branchée, le quadrant correspondant est vert et l’indication “VIDEO LOSS” est affichée là-dedans. Lors de la défaillance d’une caméra pendant son fonctionnement, la dernière image reçue de cette caméra est “gelée” dans son quadrant et “VIDEO LOSS” est également affiché. De plus, un signal acoustique résonne pendant 1 minute ou jusqu’à ce qu’une touche quelconque soit enfoncée (= préréglage, possibilités de modification voir chapitre

5.2.2 “Menu de réglages, page 2”).

Enfoncez une des touches “1” ( ) à “4” ( ) pour commuter à l’affichage plein écran de la caméra correspondante. N.B.: Le maniement de l’appareil dans le mode “Normal” n’a pas d’influence sur l’enregistrement vidéo. Indépendamment de l’affichage sélectionné sur le moniteur, le signal à la prise QUAD OUT (10) est toujours une image Quad.

5.1.2 Automatique (AUTO)

Enfoncez la touche “AUTO” (6) pour sélectionner ce mode de fonctionnement. La commutation automatique (commutation de séquence) met en marche la séquence d’images sélectionnée dans les réglages de l’appareil. Pour plus de détails concernant les réglages de la séquence voir le chapitre 5.2.2 “Menu de régla-

ges, page 2”. La diode au-dessus de la touche AUTO brille ainsi que la diode de la caméra dont l’image est actuellement affichée. Les entrées des caméras sans signal vidéo valide sont sautées automatiquement.

5.1.3 Image immobile (FREEZE)

Pour ce mode de fonctionnement, commutez d’abord à l’image Quad avec la touche QUAD (5). Enfoncez la touche QUAD de nouveau de sorte que la diode audessus de la touche QUAD clignote. Maintenant les images des quadrants peuvent être “gelées” comme images immobiles via les touches 1 à 4. Pendant que l’image immobile est affichée, la diode brille au-dessus de la touche correspondante. Enfoncez de nouveau cette touche pour “dégeler” l’image, c’est-à-dire, l’image actuelle de caméra est affichée de nouveau.

L’appareil revient au mode “Normal” à l’expiration du temps de l’image immobile sélectionné dans les réglages de l’appareil ou par une nouvelle pression sur la touche QUAD (5). Pour plus de détails concernant les réglages voir le chapitre 5.2.2 “Menu de réglages, page 2”.

5.1.4 Lecture (PLAY)

Par une pression sur la touche PLAY (7), le TVSP42COL commute au mode de lecture. Dans ce mode de fonctionnenment, la diode brille au-dessus de la touche. Lorsque le magnétoscope relié est sur lecture, la lecture est affichée. Lorsque le magnétoscope est sur enregistrement, le moniteur affiche l’image Quad actuellement à enregistrer. Par la pression sur une des touches 1 à 4, le quadrant correspondant est agrandi à plein écran. Une nouvelle pression sur la même touche “gèle” l’image comme image immobile (pourtant, sans que le magnétoscope soit arrêté). La durée de l’image immobile “FREEZE HOLD TIME” à ajuster dans les réglages de l’appareil est sans importance dans le mode de lecture. L’image peut être “dégelée” uniquement par une nouvelle pression sur la même touche.

Par une nouvelle pression sur la touche PLAY, l’appareil revient au mode “Normal”. N.B.: L’affichage plein écran des quadrants individuels est uniquement possible lorsque “HALF DUPLEX MODE” est sélectionné dans les réglages de l’appareil. Pour plus de détails concernant ce réglage voir le chapitre 5.2.2 “Menu de réglages, page 2”.

5.2 Modification des réglages de l’appareil

Pour une utilisation optimale du TVSP-42COL dans le système de surveillance respectif, de nombreux parametrès de foncitonnement peuvent être modifiés. Tous les réglages sont effectués via un menu écran.

Enfoncez la touche MENU (8) pour appeler ce menu. La première page de ce menu est affichée sur le moniteur (voir schéma 3, chapitre 5.2.1) et la diode brille au-dessus de la touche MENU. Pourtant, lorsque l’appareil est dans le mode “Lecture” ou “Image immobile”, if faut d’abord revenir au mode “Normal” par une pression sur la touche PLAY (7) ou la touche QUAD (5).

Les touches suivantes sont nécessaires pour le maniement du menu de réglages:

(1) et (2) touches curseur pour sélectionner le paramètre à modifier. Une brève pression modifie la sélection d’une position. Maintenez enfoncée une de ces touches pour modifier la position continuellement. Le paramètre sélectionné est accentué par clignotement.

+ (3) et

(4) pour augmenter ou réduire la valeur du paramètre sélectionné d’une valeur en cas d’une brève pression. Lorsqu’une de ces touches est enfoncée pendant plus de 1s, la valeur est modifiée continuellement.

La couleur du texte peut être modifiée pour obtenir une meilleure lisibilité des textes affichés en cas de différents contenus d’images. Appelez une page du menu avec la touche MENU (8), puis commutez entre les couleurs du texte blanche, bleue, et verte avec la touche AUTO (6).

Toutes les modifications effectuées dans le menu de réglages sont mémorisées de manière permanente, c’est-à-dire, elles sont préservées même en cas de défaillance de la tension d’alimentation.

Quittez le menu de réglages par une pression (plusieurs fois, si nécessaire) sur la touche MENU (8).

5.2.1 Menu de réglages, page 1

Les paramètres suivants peuvent être réglés sur cette page du menu:

DATE FORMAT définition du format de la date, c’està-dire, la séquence du jour (DD), du mois (MM), et de l’année (YY). On peut choisir entre (YY/MM /DD) et (MM/DD/YY).

DATE affichage de la date dans l’image (ON) ou non (OFF). De plus, on peut ajuster la date actuelle dans le format sélectionné ci-dessus.

TIME affichage de l’heure dans l’image (ON) ou non (OFF). De plus, on peut ajuster l’heure actuelle. L’horloge interne est alimentée par batterie et fonctionne même en cas de défaillance de l’alimentation.

LOCATION positions de la date et de l’heure sur l’écran. Les six positions suivantes sont disponibles: BOTTOM en bas au milieu TOP en haut au milieu LEFT TOP en haut à gauche RIGHT TOP en haut à droite LEFT BOTTOM en bas à gauche RIGHT BOTTOM en bas à droite

se compose de huit caractères au plus. On peut choisir entre des lettres majuscules, des lettres minuscules, des chiffres et de nombreux caractères spéciaux. De plus, il est possible de définir pour chaque caméra si son nom doit être affiché (ON) ou non (OFF).

N.B.: Les possibilités d’afficher les titres des caméras, la date, et l’heure s’appliquent uniquement à l’image Quad. En cas de l’affichage plein écran, aucun texte n’est affiché.

TEST PATTERN – COLOR BAR affichage d’une mire de barres de couleur (ON) pour ajuster le moniteur.

Le TVSP-42COLsoutient les normes vidéo CCIR/PAL et EIA/ NTSC. Il s’adapte automatiquement au signal appliqué mais peut également être commuté manuellement. Pour la commutation manuelle de nor- mes, appelez une page du menu avec la touche MENU (8), maintenez enfoncée la touche QUAD (5) et enfoncez en plus la touche MENU. Puis le TVSP42COL commute à l’autre norme vidéo. A la première page du menu de réglages, la norme vidéo réglée actuellement est affichée en bas à gauche. Lorsque la norme vidéo ajustée au TVSP-42COL ne correspond pas à laquelle du moniteur, il y a un mouvement continu de l’image sur le moniteur en noir et blanc.

SEQUENCE programmation d’une séquence quelconque se composant de jusqu’à huit images pour la commutation automatique d’images (mode de fonctionnement “Automatique”). On a le choix entre les images plein écran des caméras individuelles (“1”, “2”, “3”,”4”) et l’image Quad (“Q”). L’appareil saute les positions avec l’option sélectionnée “

DWELL TIME durée d’affichage individuelle de 1 à 9s pour chaque image sélectionnée à la ligne SEQUENCE.

BUZZER signalisation de la perte d’un signal vidéo en cas de défaillance d’une caméra par un signal acoustique (ON) ou non (OFF). De plus, on peut régler la durée du signal acoustique (1 à 99min.), si ce signal n’est pas désactivé par la pression sur une touche quelconque.

FREEZE HOLD TIME temps pour lequel le TVSP42COL est dans le mode d’image immobile avant de revenir automatiquement au mode “Normal”. Il est tou-

jours possible de changer le mode de fonctionnement manuellement. On peut sélectionner une durée entre 1 et 99 s. Si vous choisissez 0s, le mode “image immobile” est activé jusqu’à ce que ce mode soit quitté manuellement.

DUPLEX MODE permet les réglages suivants: HALF

Dans le mode de lecture, l’affichage plein écran des quadrants enregistrés est possible mais non l’af- fichage simultané des images actuelles de caméras via la prise QUAD OUT (10).

FULL

Dans le mode de lecture, l’affichage plein écran des quadrants enregistrés n’est pas possible. Cela assure l’affichage continu des images actuelles de caméras via la prise QUAD OUT (10) pour les enregistrer par un magnétoscope ultérieur.

5.3 Réinitialisation totale de l’appareil/ Liste des préréglages

Tous les réglages du TVSP-42COL peuvent être réinitialisés aux valeurs ajustées à l’usine. Pour ce faire, enfoncez la touche MENU (8). La diode au-dessus de la touche brille. Puis maintenez enfoncée la touche PLAY(7) et enfoncez la touche MENU (8) en plus.

Attention: L’activation de cette option effacera tous les réglages effectués par l’utilisateur de manière irréparable et les remplacera par les préréglages ajustés à l’usine.

9 La presa BNC MONITOR OUT fornisce un segnale

video per il collegamento di un monitor, per far vedere le immagini o una registrazione video nel modo desiderato.

10 La presa BNC QUAD OUT fornisce un segnale

video con tutte e quattro le immagini nei rispettivi quadranti, per il collegamento di un videoregistratore o di un secondo monitor che deve rappresentare permanentemente l’immagine quadrupla.

11 La presa BNC VCR IN serve per collegare un

videoregistratore per la riproduzione di una registrazione.

12 Le prese BNC VIDEO IN 1…4 servono per colle-

gare le telecamere. I simboli dei quadranti indicano la posizione della rispettiva immagine sul monitor.

2 Avvertenze di sicurezza

Quest’apparecchio corrisponde alla direttiva CE 89/336/CEE sulla compatibilità elettromagnetica.

Usare lo strumento solo all’interno di locali. Proteggerlo dall’umidità e dal calore (temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra 0°C e 40°C).

Per la pulizia usare solo un panno asciutto e morbido; non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti chimici o acqua.

Nel caso di uso improprio, di collegamenti sbagliati o di riparazione scorretta non si assume nessuna responsabilità per eventuali danni.

Se si desidera eliminare l’apparecchio definitivamente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento ad un’istituzione locale per il riciclaggio.

3 Possibilità d’impiego

Il processore quad a colori TVSP-42COLè stato realizzato per l’impiego in impianti di sorveglianza video. È possibile rappresentare o registrare con un videoregistratore fino a quattro immagini (b/n o a colori con lo standard PAL o NTSC) singolarmente o tutte insieme (a quadranti). La riproduzione di una registrazione video permette di ingrandire un quadrante come immagine a schermo intero. Durante la riproduzione di una registrazione quad con il TVSP-42COL è anche possibile registrare i quattro segnali video con un altro videoregistratore. La perdita di un segnale video per disfunzione di una telecamera può essere segnalata da un segnale acustico.

4 Collegamenti

4.1 Telecamere

Alle prese d’ingresso VIDEO IN 1…4 (12) si possono collegare fino a 4 telecamere.

4.2 Monitor

Collegare il monitor con la presa MONITOR OUT (9).

4.3 Videoregistratore

Per registrare le immagini delle telecamere come immagine quadrupla, collegare l’ingresso video del videoregistratore con la presa QUAD OUT (10). Per la riproduzione della registrazione collegare l’uscita video del videoregistratore con la presa VCR IN (11).

4.3 Alimentazione

Dopo aver eseguito tutti i collegamenti dei vari apparecchi, collegare un alimentatore 12 V /500 mA (p.es. PS-90GS, MIDI-125 o PS-1204ST della MONACOR) con la presa DC IN (13). È richiesto un connettore per piccole tensioni 5,5/ 2,1 mm (diametro esterno/interno). Fare attenzione alla corretta polarità: il contatto interno deve essere positivo.

5 Funzionamento

Dopo aver applicato la tensione d’alimentazione, si sente un breve segnale acustico. Dopo 2 sec. circa, il TVSP-42COL mostra l’immagine quadrupla nel modo di funzionamento “Normale”.

Alla prima messa in funzione sono attive le impostazioni di default del costruttore (vedi tabella “Impostazioni di default” del capitolo 5.3). Per cambiarle leggere il capitolo 5.2 “Modifica delle impostazioni”.

5.1 Modi di funzionamento

5.1.1 Normale (QUAD)

Il modo di funzionamento “Normale” è attivato non appena si applica la tensione di esercizio. Le telecamere collegate vengono rappresentate con immagini divisi fra i quattro quadranti. Il LED sopra il tasto QUAD (5) è acceso. Se un canale video è senza telecamera, il relativo quadrante rimane verde e si legge la scritta “VIDEO LOSS”. Nel caso di mal funzionamento di una telecamera, l’ultima immagine raccolta viene bloccata e rimane ferma nel quadrante insieme alla scritta “VIDEO LOSS”. Inoltre si sente un segnale acustico per un minuto circa oppure fino alla pressione di un tasto qualsiasi (= impostazione di default, possibilità di modifica vedi cap. 5.2.2 “Menù impostazioni pag. 2”):

Premendo uno dei tasto da “1” ( ) a “4” ( ), si passa alla rappresentazione a schermo intero.

N.B.: Il funzionamento nella modalità “Normale” non influisce sulla registrazione video. Il segnale al contatto QUAD OUT (10) è sempre un’immagine quadrupla, indipendentemente dalla rappresentazione sul monitor.

5.2 Automatico (AUTO)

Questa modalità viene selezionata premendo il tasto AUTO (6); la successione automatica parte secondo la sequenza prevista dalle impostazioni. Per ulteriori particolari leggere il capitolo 5.2.2 “Menù impostazioni pagina 2”. Il LED sopra il tasto AUTO rimane acceso insieme al LED dell’immagine attuale. I canali senza segnale video vengono automaticamente saltati.

Per selezionare questa modalità chiamare dapprima l’immagine quadrupla con il tasto QUAD (5). Premere di nuovo il tasto QUAD per fare lampeggiare il LED sopra il tasto. A questo punto, con i tasti 1 – 4 si possono bloccare le immagini dei quadranti e il LED sopra il relativo tasto si accende. Se si preme di nuovo questo tasto, l’immagine viene sbloccata e si vede nuovamente l’immagine attuale.

Al termine del periodo di permanenza come immagine ferma, definito dalle impostazioni, oppure dopo una nuova pressione del tasto QUAD (5), l’apparecchio ritorna nella modalità “Normale”. Per i dettagli sulle impostazioni vedi capitolo 5.2.2 “Menù impostazioni pagina 2”.

5.1.4 Riproduzione (PLAY)

Premendo il tasto PLAY (7), il TVSP-42COL passa nella modalità di riproduzione. Si accende il LED sopra il tasto. Se sul videoregistratore collegato è in corso la riproduzione di una registrazione precedente, si vede tale riproduzione. Se invece è in corso una registrazione, il monitor fa vedere l’immagine quadrupla registrata in quel momento. Se si preme uno dei tasto 1 – 4, il relativo quadrante diventa un’immagine a schermo intero. Un’altra pressione dello stesso tasto blocca tale immagine come immagine ferma (senza fermare il videoregistratore). Il periodo di permanenza come immagine ferma “FREEZE HOLD TIME”, definito nelle impostazioni, non ha importanza nella modalità di riproduzione. L’immagine può essere sbloccata solo premendo un’altra volta lo stesso tasto.

Premendo di nuovo il tasto PLAY, l’apparecchio torna nella modalità “Normale”. N.B.: La rappresentazione di singoli quadranti a schermo intero è possibile solo se nelle impostazioni è stato selezionato il “HALF DUPLEX MODE”. Per i dettagli su questa impostazione vedi capitolo 5.2.2 “Menù impostazioni pagina 2”.

5.2 Modifica delle impostazioni

Per utilizzare il TVSP-42COL in maniera ottimale nell’impianto di sorveglianza si possono modificare molti parametri. Tutte le impostazioni vengono eseguite attraverso il menù sul monitor.

Per chiamare tale menù premere il tasto MENU (8). Sul monitor appare la prima pagina (vedi fig. 3 nel cap.

5.2.1), e il LED sopra il tasto MENU si accende. Se l’apparecchio si trova nella modalità “Riproduzione” o “Immagine ferma”, premendo il tasto PLAY (7) o QUAD (5), si deve prima tornare nella modalità “Normale”. Nel menù delle impostazioni ci si muove con i seguenti tasti:

(1) e (2) Tasti per selezionare il parametro da modificare. Premendo brevemente, la selezione cambia di una posizione. Tenendo premuto uno di questi tasti, le posizioni passano in sequenza. Il parametro selezionato lampeggia.

+ (3) e

(4) T asti per aumentare o ridurre il valore selezionato di un’unità nel caso di una pressione breve. Se il tasto

viene premuto per più di un secondo, il valore cambia in sequenza.

MENU (8)

Per passare alla pagina successiva oppure – dalla pagina 3 – per abbandonare il menù impostazioni.

Il colore del testo è modificabile per permettere una buona visibilità anche su sfondi diversi. Chiamare il menù con il tasto MENU (8) e modificare il colore fra bianco, blu e verde premendo il tasto AUTO (6).

Tutte le modifiche eseguite nel menù impostazioni saranno memorizzate in modo permanente; rimangono attuali anche se viene a cadere l’alimentazione.

Il menù impostazioni si abbandona premendo (eventualmente ripetutamente) il tasto MENU (8).

5.2.1 Menù impostazioni pagina 1

La pagina permette l’impostazione dei seguenti parametri:

DATE FORMAT determina il formato della data, ovvero l’ordine fra giorno (DD), mese (MM) e anno (YY). Sono disponibili i formati (YY/MM/DD) e (MM/DD/YY).

DATE determina se la data dev’essere visibile nell’immagine (ON) o no (OFF). Inoltre si imposta la data nel formato sopra definito.

TIME determina se l’ora dev’essere visibile nell’immagine (ON) o no (OFF). Inoltre si imposta l’ora attuale. L’orologio interno ha una sua batteria e continua a funzionare anche se l’alimentazione viene interrotta.

LOCATION determina la posizione della data e dell’ora sul monitor. Sono disponibili le seguenti possibilità: BOTTOM in basso, centrale TOP in alto, centrale LEFT TOP in alto, a sinistra RIGHT TOP in alto, a destra LEFT BOTTOM in basso, a sinistra RIGHT BOTTOM in basso, a destra

TITLE permette di dare un nome ad ogni telecamera, composto da non più di otto caratteri. Si possono usare maiuscole e minuscole, numeri e diversi caratteri speciali. Inoltre si può stabilire per ogni telecamera se il suo nome deve apparire sullo schermo (ON) o no (OFF).

N.B.: Le possibilità di fare apparire sullo schermo i nomi delle telecamere, la data e l’ora esistono solo per l’immagine quadrupla. Nella rappresentazione a

schermo intero non è prevista la segnalazione di queste informazioni.

TEST PATTERN – COLOR BAR permette di inviare sullo schermo un immagine test con barre di colori per regolare il monitor (ON).

Il TVSP-42COL supporta le norme video CCIR/PAL e EIA/NTSC. Il segnale in arrivo viene riconosciuto automaticamente, ma è possibile anche l’impostazione manuale della norma video. Per il cambio manuale della norma chiamare una pagina di menù con il tasto MENU (8), tener premuto il tasto QUAD (5) ed azionare in più il tasto MENU. Il TVSP-42COL passa ora da una norma a quella successiva. La norma impostata viene indicata sulla prima pagina del menù impostazioni, in basso, a sinistra. Se la norma video del TVSP-42COL non corrisponde a quella del monitor, l’immagine scorre sul monitor e rimane in bianco e nero.

5.2.2 Menù impostazioni pagina 2

La pagina permette l’impostazione dei seguenti parametri:

SEQUENCE permette, per la successione automatica delle immagini (modalità “Automatico”), la programmazione di una sequenza con un massimo di otto passi. Si può scegliere fra le immagini a schermo intero delle singole telecamere (“1”, “2”, “3”, “4”) e l’immagine quadrupla (“Q”). Le posizioni con l’opzione “

vengono saltate. DWELL TIME determina la durata di ogni immagine

selezionata con SEQUENCE, fra 1 e 9 secondi. BUZZER determina se la perdita di un segnale video

nel caso di disfunzione di una telecamera debba essere segnalata con un segnale acustico (ON) o no

(OFF). Si può anche impostare la durata del segnale acustico (1–99min.) se non viene disattivato premendo un qualsiasi tasto.

FREEZE HOLD TIME determina per quanto tempo il TVSP-42COL deve rimanere nella modalità immagine ferma prima di ritornare automaticamente nella modalità “Normale”. Un cambio manuale della modalità è possibile in qualsiasi momento. La durata può essere impostata fra 1 e 99sec.; se si imposta il valore 0sec., la modalità “Immagine ferma” rimane valida finché non viene abbandonata manualmente.

DUPLEX MODE permette le seguenti impostazioni: HALF Nella modalità riproduzione è possibile una

rappresentazione a schermo intero dei quadranti registrati, ma non è possibile il contemporaneo trasferimento delle immagini attuali attraverso il contatto QUAD OUT (10).

FULL Nella modalità riproduzione non è possibile la

rappresentazione a schermo intero dei quadranti registrati. In questo modo è garantito invece che le immagini attuali vengano trasferite ad un altro registratore attraverso il contatto QUAD OUT.

5.3 Reset totale/Impostazioni di default

Tutte le impostazioni del TVSP-42COL possono essere riportate ai valori predefiniti dalla fabbrica. Per fare ciò premere il tasto (8): il LED sopra il tasto si accende. Quindi tener premuto il tasto PLAY (7) ed azionare in più il tasto MENU (8).

Attenzione: L’attivazione di questa opzione cancella in maniera irrevocabile tutte le impostazioni eseguite dall’utente e le sostituisce con le impostazioni di default.

1.2 Achterzijde van het toestel

9 De BNC-jack MONITOR OUT levert een videosig-

naal dat naar een monitor gestuurd moet worden voor weergave van een camera of een beeldopname in het geselecteerde formaat.

10 De BNC-jack QUAD OUT levert een videosignaal

met de vier camerabeelden in kwadrantweergave dat naar een videorecorder gestuurd moet worden, of naar een monitor die de kwadrantweergave permanent moet weergeven.

11 De BNC-jack VCR IN dient voor de aansluiting van

een videorecorder om een opname weer te geven.

12 De BNC-jacks VIDEO IN 1 …4 dienen voor de

aansluiting van de camera’s. De kwadrantsymbolen geven aan, waar in de kwadrantweergave het betreffende camerabeeld op de monitor verschijnt.

13 De jack DC IN dient voor aansluiting op de voe-

dingsspanning (12 V /500 mA, het binnencontact is positief).

2 Veiligheidsvoorschriften

Het toestel is in overeenstemming met de EU-richtlijn 89/336/EWG voor elektromagnetische compatibiliteit.

●

Het toestel is enkel geschikt voor gebruik binnenshuis. Vermijd uitzonderlijk warme plaatsen en plaatsen met een hoge vochtigheid (toegestaan omgevingstemperatuurbereik: 0–40°C).

●

Gebruik voor de reiniging uitsluitend een droge, zachte doek. Gebruik in geen geval chemicaliën of water.

●

In geval van ongeoorloofd of verkeerd gebruik of van herstelling door een niet-gekwalificeerd persoon vervalt de garantie bij eventuele schade.

●

Wanneer het toestel definitief uit bedrijf genomen wordt, bezorg het dan voor verwerking aan een plaatselijk recyclagebedrijf.

3 Toepassingen

De kleurenvideoquadprocessor TVSP-42COL is ontworpen voor gebruik in videobewakingssystemen. Met het toestel kan u tot vier camerabeelden (z/w of kleur in PAL- of NTSC-standaard) afzonderlijk of als een scherm met vier kwadranten weergeven (kwadrantweergave) en tegelijk met een videorecorder opnemen. Bij de weergave van een beeldopname kan een kwadrantbeeld als schermvullend beeld uitvergroot worden. Op dezelfde manier kan u tijdens de weergave van een kwadrantopname via de TVSP-42COL de actuele vier camerasignalen met een andere videorecorder opnemen. Het verlies van een videosignaal bij uitval van een camera kan gesignaleerd worden met een geluidssignaal.

4 Het toestel aansluiten

4.1 Camera’s

Sluit maximaal vier camera’s aan op de ingangsjacks VIDEO IN 1…4 (12).

4.2 Monitor

Sluit de monitor aan op de jack MONITOR OUT (9).

4.3 Videorecorder

Voor opname van de camerabeelden als kwadrantweergave verbindt u de video-ingang van de videorecorder met de jack QUAD OUT (10). Voor de weergave van de opname verbindt u de video-uitgang van de videorecorder met de jack VCR IN (11).

4.4 Voedingsspanning

Na aansluiting van alle overige apparatuur sluit u een netadapter 12V /500mA aan op de jack DC IN (13), bijvoorbeeld PS-90GS, MIDI-125 of PS-1204ST van MONACOR. Hiervoor hebt u een laagspanningsstekker 5,5/2,1mm (buiten-/binnendiameter) nodig. Let hierbij op de polariteit: het binnencontact moet positief zijn.

5 Werking

Na aansluiting van de voedingsspanning is een kort geluidssignaal hoorbaar. Na ca. 2 seconden geeft de TVSP-42COL het kwadrantweergave van de bedrijfsmodus “Normaal” weer.

Bij de eerste ingebruikneming gelden de door de fabrikant voorgeprogrammeerde basisinstellingen (zie hoofdstuk “Voorinstellingen” in hoofdstuk 5.3). Hoe u deze toestelinstellingen moet wijzigen, leest u in hoofdstuk 5.2 “De toestelinstellingen wijzigen”.

5.1 Functies

5.1.1 Normaal (QUAD)

De bedrijfsmodus “Normaal” is geactiveerd van zodra de voedingsspanning aangesloten is. De aangesloten camera’s worden als vier beelden op één scherm (kwadrantweergave) weergegeven. De LED boven de QUAD-toets (5) licht op. Indien er op een cameraaansluiting geen camera aangesloten is, wordt het betreffende kwadrant groen weergegeven met daarin de melding “VIDEO LOSS”. Valt evenwel een camera tijdens het bedrijf uit, wordt het laatste ontvangen beeld van deze camera in de betreffende kwadrant als stilstaand beeld weergegeven (“bevroren”) met eveneens weergave van de melding “VIDEO LOSS”. Bovendien weerklinkt een signaal gedurende 1 minuut resp. tot op een willekeurige toets gedrukt wordt (= voorinstelling, mogelijke wijzigingen zie hoofdstuk

5.2.2 “Instelmenu pagina 2”).

Door op een van de toetsen “1” ( ) tot “4” ( ) te drukken, schakelt u naar de weergave van de betreffende camera als schermvullend beeld.

Opmerking: De bediening van het toestel in de bedrijfsmodus “Normaal” heeft geen invloed op de beeldopname. Het signaal op de aansluiting QUAD OUT (10) is steeds een kwadrantweergave, ongeacht het geselecteerde monitorbeeld.

5.1.2 Automatisch (AUTO)

Deze bedrijfsmodus wordt geselecteerd door op de AUTO-toets (6) te drukken, en start de automatische

doorschakeling (sequentieschakeling) overeenkomstig de beeldsequentie die met toestelinstellingen geselecteerd is. Meer informatie over de instellingen van de beeldsequentie vindt u in het hoofdstuk 5.2.2 “Instelmenu pagina 2”. De LED boven de AUTO-toets licht op evenals telkens de LED van het momenteel weergegeven camerabeeld. Camera-ingangen zonder geldig videosignaal worden automatisch overgeslagen.

5.1.3 Stilstaand beeld (FREEZE)

Voor deze bedrijfsmodus schakelt u met de QUADtoets (5) naar de kwadrantweergave. Druk opnieuw op de QUAD-toets, zodat de LED boven de QUAD-toets knippert. Nu kan u via de toetsen 1–4 de beelden van de kwadranten als stilstaande beelden “bevriezen”. De LED boven de betreffende toets licht op tijdens de weergave van het stilstaande beeld. Door opnieuw op de toets te drukken, “ontdooit” u het beeld, d.w.z. het momentele camerabeeld wordt opnieuw weergegeven.

Na verstrijken van de verblijftijd die in de toestelinstellingen vastgelegd is, of door opnieuw op de QUADtoets (5) te drukken, schakelt het toestel opnieuw naar de bedrijfsmodus “Normaal”. Meer informatie over de instellingen vindt u terug in het hoofdstuk 5.2.2 “Instelmenu pagina 2”.

5.1.4 Weergave (PLAY)

Met de PLAY-toets (7) schakelt u de TVSP-42COL in de weergavemodus. De LED boven de toets licht in deze modus op. Wanneer de weergave op de aangesloten videorecorder afgespeeld wordt, kan u deze op de monitor zien. Indien de recorder in opname staat, toont de monitor de kwadrantweergave, die zodra opgenomen zal worden. Wanneer u nu op een van de toetsen 1–4 drukt, wordt het betreffende kwadrant tot schermvullend beeld uitvergroot. Door opnieuw op dezelfde toets te drukken, “bevriest” u het beeld (stilstaand beeld) zonder evenwel de videorecorder te stoppen. De verblijftijd “FREEZE HOLD TIME” die via de toestelinstellingen vastgelegd wordt, functioneert niet in de weergavemodus. Het beeld “ontdooit” u gewoon door opnieuw op dezelfde toets te drukken.

Door opnieuw op de PLAY-toets te drukken, schakelt het toestel terug naar de bedrijfsmodus “Normaal”.

Opmerking: De schermvullende weergave van afzonderlijke kwadranten van een beeldopname is enkel mogelijk, wanneer in de toestelinstellingen de modus “HALF DUPLEX MODE” geselecteerd is. Meer informatie over deze instelling vindt u terug in hoofdstuk

5.2.2 “Instelmenu pagina 2”.

5.2 De toestelinstellingen wijzigen

Om de TVSP-42COLoptimaal in elke bewakingsinstallatie te gebruiken, kunnen vele bedrijfsparameters aangepast worden. Alle instellingen gebeuren via een schermmenu.

Druk op de MENU-toets (8) om dit schermmenu op te roepen. De eerste pagina van het menu verschijnt op de monitor (zie fig. 3 in hoofdstuk 5.2.1), en de LED boven de toets MENU licht op. Indien het toestel evenwel in de bedrijfsmodus “Weergave” of “Stilstaand beeld” staat, moet u eerst op de PLAY-toets (7) resp.

de QUAD-toets (5) drukken om naar de bedrijfsmodus “Normaal” terug te schakelen.

Voor het gebruik van de instelmenu zijn de volgende toetsen vereist:

(1) en (2) als cursortoetsen om de te wijzigen parameter te selecteren. Wanneer u kort op een van beide toetsen drukt, wijzigt de selectie één positie. Wanneer u een van beide toetsen ingedrukt houdt, wijzigt de selectie voortdurend. De geselecteerde parameter wordt met knipperende weergave gemarkeerd.

+ (3) en

(4) om de geselecteerde parameterwaarde met één eenheid te verhogen of te verlagen door kort op een van beide toetsen te drukken. Wanneer u een van beide toetsen langer dan 1 seconden ingedrukt houdt, wijzigt de waarde voortdurend.

De tekstkleur kan gewijzigd worden om bij verschil- lende beeldinhoud een goede leesbaarheid van de ingevoegde tekst te bereiken. Roep een menupagina op met de MENU-toets (8), en schakel met de AUTOtoets (6) tussen witte, blauwe en groene tekstkleur. Alle wijzigingen die in het instelmenu doorgevoerd zijn, worden duurzaam opgeslagen en blijven dus ook na uitvallen van de voedingsspanning behouden.

Om het instelmenu weer te verlaten, drukt u (evt.

herhaald) op de MENU-toets (8).

5.2.1 Instelmenu pagina 1

Op deze menupagina kan u de volgende parameters instellen:

DATE FORMAT bepaalt de manier waarop de datum weergegeven wordt, d.w.z. de volgorde van dag (DD), maand (MM) en jaar (YY). U kan kiezen tussen (YY/MM/DD) en (MM/DD/YY).

DATE bepaalt of de datum in het beeld ingevoegd wordt (ON) of niet (OFF). Bovendien kan de huidige datum in de hierboven geselecteerde vorm ingesteld worden.

TIME bepaalt of het tijdstip in het beeld ingevoegd wordt (ON) of niet (OFF). Bovendien kan het actuele tijdstip ingesteld worden. De interne klok beschikt over een batterij als noodvoeding en blijft dus ook werken bij een stroomonderbreking.

LOCATION bepaalt waar datum en tijdstip op het

beeldscherm moeten verschijnen. Hiervoor kan u kiezen uit de zes volgende posities: BOTTOM centraal onderaan TOP centraal bovenaan LEFT TOP links bovenaan RIGHT TOP rechts bovenaan LEFT BOTTOM links onderaan RIGHT BOTTOM rechts onderaan

TITLE maakt het mogelijk om elke camera een naam te geven. Deze naam is maximaal acht karakters lang. U kan hierbij kiezen uit hoofdletters en kleine letters, cijfer en diverse speciale karakters. Bovendien kan voor elke camera vastgelegd worden, of de naam ervan ingevoegd moet worden (ON) of niet (OFF).

Opmerking: De invoegmogelijkheden van cameranamen, datum en tijdstip gelden enkel voor de kwadrantweergave. In de schermvullende weergave worden geen teksten ingevoegd.

TEST PATTERN – COLOR BAR maakt het mogelijk om voor de afregeling van de monitor een kleurbalktestbeeld in te voegen (ON).

De TVSP-42COL ondersteunt de videostandaarden CCIR/PALen EIA/NTCS. Het toestel stelt zich automatisch in op het doorgestuurde signaal, maar kan ook manueel aangepast worden. Om de standaard manu- eel te wijzigen, moet u met de MENU-toets (8) een menupagina oproepen, de QUAD-toets (5) ingedrukt houden en op de MENU-toets drukken. De TVSP-42COL schakelt nu telkens naar een andere videostandaard. De momenteel ingestelde videostandaard wordt op de eerste pagina van het instelmenu links onderaan aangeduid. Indien de ingestelde videostandaard van de TVSP-42COLniet overeenstemt met deze van de monitor, loopt het beeld op de monitor in zwartwit door.

5.2.2 Instelmenu pagina 2

Op deze menupagina kan u de volgende parameters instellen:

SEQUENCE maakt voor de automatische beelddoorschakeling (bedrijfsmodus “Automatisch”) een willekeurige beeldsequentie mogelijk, waarbij tot acht stappen geprogrammeerd kunnen worden. U kan daarbij selecteren uit de schermvullend beelden van de afzonderlijke camera’s (“1”, “2”, “3”, “4”) en de kwadrantweergave (“Q”). Posities met de geselecteerde optie “

” slaat het toestel over.

DWELL TIME bepaalt een individuele verblijftijd van 1–9 seconden voor elk beeld dat in de regel SEQUENCE geselecteerd is.

BUZZER bepaalt of het verlies van een videosignaal bij uitval van een camera door een geluidssignaal gesignaleerd moet worden (ON) of niet (OFF). Bovendien kan u instellen hoe lang het geluidssignaal hoorbaar moet zijn (1 – 99 min), wanneer het niet uitgeschakeld wordt door op een willekeurige toets te drukken.

FREEZE HOLD TIME bepaalt hoe lang de TVSP42COL in de weergavemodus “Stilstaand beeld” blijft staan, alvorens automatisch terug te schakelen naar de bedrijfsmodus “Normaal”. Het is steeds mogelijk om de modus voortijdig manueel om te schakelen. U kan een tijdsduur van 1–99 seconden instellen; bij instelling van 0 seconden blijft de bedrijfsmodus “Stilstaand beeld” bestaan tot deze weer manueel verlaten wordt.

DUPLEX MODE maakt volgende instellingen mogelijk:

HALF In de weergavemodus is een schermvullende

weergave van de opgenomen kwadranten mogelijk, evenwel niet gelijktijdig met de uitvoer van de huidige camerabeelden via de aansluiting QUAD OUT (10).

FULL In de weergavemodus is geen schermvullende

weergave van de opgenomen kwadranten mogelijk. Hierdoor is een continue uitvoer van de huidige camerabeelden via de aansluiting QUAD OUT voor de opname op een andere recorder gegarandeerd.

5.2.3 Instelmenu pagina 3

Op deze menupagina kunnen volgende waarden voor elk camerabeeld afzonderlijk ingesteld worden:

BRIGHT helderheid CONTRAST contrast CHROMA kleurverzadiging SHARP beeldscherpte

Alle waarden zijn instelbaar tussen 0–64.

5.3 Alle toestelinstellingen resetten/ overzicht van de voorinstellingen

Alle instellingen van de TVSP-42COL kunnen gereset worden, zodat opnieuw de fabrieksinstellingen gelden. Druk hiervoor op de MENU-toets (8). De LED boven de toets licht vervolgens op. Houd nu de PLAY-toets (7) ingedrukt en druk tegelijk op de MENU-toets (8).

Opgelet: De activering van deze optie wist onomkeer- baar alle instellingen die door de gebruiker doorgevo-

erd zijn, en vervangt ze door de voorinstellingen van de fabrikant.
