1 Ausstattung

Das TM-17 ist ein leistungsfähiges Megafon mit einem Handmikrofon und kann mit Batterien oder über eine externe Stromversorgung (z. B. Kfz-Bordnetz) betrieben werden. Es hat eine Spitzenleis tung von 25 W und verfügt über zwei schaltbare Signaltöne.

3 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch

Dieses Gerät entspricht allen relevanten Richtlinien der EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.

Legen Sie das Gerät nicht in feuchter Umgebung ab und schützen Sie es vor großer Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0– 40 °C).

Vermeiden Sie es, das Gerät im Regen zu verwenden. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Flüssigkeit in das Gerät gelangt.

Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes oder leicht angefeuchtetes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder aggressive Reinigungsmittel.

Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, falsch be dient oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie für das Gerät übernommen werden.

VORSICHT Betreiben Sie das Megafon niemals in

Ohrnähe einer anderen Person! Durch die verstärkte Stimme oder durch ein Rückkopplungspfeifen können Gehörschäden verursacht werden.

Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben Sie es zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung ei nem örtlichen Re cyc ling be trieb.

4 Inbetriebnahme

Das Megafon kann wahlweise mit Batterien betrieben oder extern mit Strom versorgt werden, z. B. über das 12-V-Bordnetz eines Kraftfahrzeugs oder ein 12-VNetzgerät.

Bei Anschluss einer externen Stromversorgung

werden die eingesetzten Batterien abgeschaltet.

4.1 Batterien einsetzen

1) Den Verschluss (4) öffnen und den Batteriefachdeckel (8) aufklappen.

2) Acht 1,5-V-Batterien der Größe Baby (C) in das Batteriefach einsetzen. Dabei auf die richtige Polarität achten (siehe Aufdruck am Batteriefach).

3) Das Batteriefach wieder schließen; den Deckel (8) nach oben klappen und mit dem Verschluss verriegeln.

Bei längerem Nichtgebrauch (z.B. länger als eine Woche) sollten die Batterien herausgenommen werden. Schäden durch auslaufende Batterien werden so vermieden.

4.2 Externe Stromversorgung

Für den Anschluss an die Versorgungsbuchse DC 12 V (7) wird ein Kleinspannungsstecker ∅ 2,1/ 5,5 mm (Innen-/ Außendurchmesser), mit positiver Polarität am Innenkontakt benötigt. Ein Anschlusskabel mit einem Stecker für eine Kfz-Bordspannungssteckdose (Zigarettenanzünder, Mittelkontakt positiv) wird mitgeliefert. Bei der Verwendung der Zigarettenanzünderbuchse für einen guten elektrischen Kontakt darauf achten, dass diese nicht mit Asche verschmutzt ist. Gegebenenfalls mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch reinigen.

5 Bedienung

1) Zum Sprechen den Schalter (9) in die Position SPEAK schieben. Das Mikrofon kann in der Hand gehalten oder auf den Haken an der Rückseite des Megafons gesteckt werden. In die Vorderseite des Mikrofons (2) sprechen und dabei eine der beiden Sprechtasten (1) gedrückt halten. Die Taste am Handmikrofon lässt sich durch Schieben in Pfeilrichtung einrasten. Das Mikrofon bleibt dann eingeschaltet. Das Mikrofon sollte möglichst nah vor den Mund gehalten werden.

2) Mit dem Regler (3) die gewünschte Lautstärke einstellen. Tritt ein Rückkopplungspfeifen auf, den Regler entsprechend zurückdrehen.

3) Zum Einschalten der Sirene oder des Pfeiftones den Schalter (9) in die Position SIREN bzw. WHISTLE schieben und eine Sprechtaste (1) drücken.

1 Features

The TM-17 is a powerful megaphone with a hand-held microphone and can be operated with batteries or via an external power supply (e. g. electric system of the car). It has a maximum power of 25 W and offers two switchable signal sounds.

3 Safety Notes

This unit corresponds to all relevant directives of the EU and is therefore marked with .

Never put down the unit in humid environments and protect it against excessive heat (admissible ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).

Never use the unit in the rain. Make sure that no liquid will penetrate the unit.

For cleaning only use a soft cloth, dry or slightly damp; never use chemicals or aggressive detergents.

No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for any resulting personal damage or material damage will be accepted if the unit is used for other purposes than originally intended, if it is not correctly operated, or not repaired in an expert way.

If the unit is to be put out of operation definitively, take it to a local recycling plant for a disposal which is not harmful to the environment.

CAUTION

Never operate the megaphone close to anybodyʼs ears; the amplified voice or howlback may cause hearing damage.

4 Setting into Operation

The megaphone can either be operated with batteries or be supplied with power externally, e.g. via the 12V electric system of a car or a 12 V power supply unit.

When connecting an external power supply, the

inserted batteries are switched off.

4.1 Inserting Batteries

1) Open the latch (4) and unfold the battery compartment cover (8).

2) Insert eight 1.5 V batteries of C size into the battery compartment. Observe the correct polarity (see imprint in the battery compartment).

3) Close the battery compartment; fold the cover (8) upwards and lock it with the latch.

If the unit is not used for a longer period (e. g. more than a week), the batteries should be removed to prevent damage to the unit due to battery leakage.

4.2 External power supply

For connection to the power supply jack DC 12 V (7) a low voltage plug ∅ 2.1 / 5.5 mm (inside/outside diame-

ter) with positive polarity at the inside contact is required. A connection cable with a plug for the socket of the carʼs electric system (cigarette lighter socket, centre contact positive) is supplied with the megaphone. When using the cigarette lighter socket, for a good electric contact ensure that this socket is not contaminated with ash. If necessary, clean it with a soft, dry cloth.

5 Operation

1) For talking, set the switch (9) to position SPEAK. The microphone can be hand-held or put onto the hook on the rear side of the megaphone. Talk into the front side of the microphone (2) while keeping one of the two talk switches (1) pressed. The switch at the hand-held microphone can be engaged by sliding it in the direction of the arrow. Then the microphone remains switched on. Hold the microphone as close to your mouth as possible.

2) Adjust the desired volume with the control (3). In case of howlback, turn back the control accordingly.

3) To switch on the siren or the whistling sound, set the switch (9) to position SIREN or WHISTLE and press one talk switch (1).

1 Caractéristiques

3 Conseils dʼutilisation et de sécurité

Cet appareil répond à toutes les directives nécessaires de lʼUnion Européenne et porte donc le symbole .

Ne déposez pas lʼappareil dans un environnement humide et protégez-le dʼune chaleur élevée (plage de température de fonctionnement autorisée : 0 – 40 °C).

Evitez dʼutiliser lʼappareil sous la pluie. Veillez à ce quʼaucun liquide ne pénètre dans lʼappareil.

Pour le nettoyer, utilisez uniquement un chiffon doux, sec ou légèrement humide, en aucun cas, de produits chimiques ou produits de nettoyage agressifs.

Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dommages matériels ou corporels consécutifs si lʼappareil est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour lequel il a été conçu, sʼil nʼest pas correctement utilisé ou nʼest pas réparé par une personne habilitée ; de même, la garantie deviendrait caduque.

ATTENTION Ne faites jamais fonctionner le méga-

phone à proximité des oreilles dʼune autre personne ! Des dommages à lʼaudition peuvent être causés par une voix amplifiée ou un sifflement dû au feedback acoustique.

Lorsque lʼappareil est définitivement retiré du service, vous devez le déposer dans une usine de recyclage adaptée pour contribuer à son élimination non polluante.

4 Fonctionnement

Le mégaphone peut fonctionner sur batteries ou par une alimentation extérieure, par exemple via la tension 12 V du véhicule ou un bloc secteur 12 V.

Si vous branchez une alimentation externe, les bat-

teries insérées sont désactivées.

4.1 Insertion des batteries

1) Ouvrez le verrouillage (4) et ouvrez le compartiment batterie (8).

2) Insérez 8 batteries 1,5 V de type R14 dans le compartiment batterie. Veillez à respecter la polarité (voir repère dans le compartiment batterie).

3) Refermez le compartiment batterie : replacez le couvercle (8) vers le haut et verrouillez.

En cas de non utilisation prolongée (p. ex. supérieure à une semaine), il convient de retirer les batteries, elles pourraient couler et endommager lʼappareil.

4.2 Alimentation externe

Pour brancher à la prise dʼalimentation DC 12 V (7), une fiche basse tension ∅ 2,1/ 5,5 mm (diamètre intérieur / extérieur) avec polarité positive au contact intérieur est nécessaire. Un cordon de branchement avec une fiche pour une prise allume-cigare (contact médian, positif) est livré. Si vous utilisez la prise de lʼallume-cigare, assurez-vous, pour un bon contact électrique, quʼelle ne soit pas salie par de la cendre. Si besoin, nettoyez avec un tissu doux et sec.

5 Utilisation

1) Pour parler, mettez le sélecteur (9) sur la position SPEAK. Tenez le microphone dans la main ou fixez-le au crochet sur la face arrière du mégaphone. Parlez dans la face avant du micro (2) et maintenez une des deux touches parole (1) enfoncée. Vous pouvez enclencher la touche sur le micro main en la poussant dans le sens de la flèche. Le micro reste allumé. Tenez-le le plus près possible de la bouche.

2) Avec le réglage (3), réglez le volume souhaité. En cas de sifflements dus au feedback acoustique, tournez le réglage en conséquence.

3) Pour activer la sirène ou le sifflement, mettez le sélecteur (9) sur la position SIREN ou WHISTLE et appuyez sur une touche parole (1).

1 Equipaggiamento

3 Avvertenze di sicurezza

Questʼapparecchio è conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti dellʼUE e pertanto porta la sigla .

Non depositare lʼapparecchio in un ambiente umido e proteggerlo da grande calore (temperatura dʼesercizio ammessa 0 – 40 °C).

Evitare lʼuso sotto la pioggia. Fare in modo che del liquido non possa penetrare nellʼapparecchio.

Per la pulizia usare solo un panno asciutto o leggermente inumidito; non usare in nessun caso prodotti chimici o detergenti aggressivi.

Nel caso dʼuso improprio, dʼimpiego scorretto o di riparazione non a regola dʼarte dellʼapparecchio, non si assume nessuna responsabilità per eventuali danni consequenziali a persone o a cose e non si assume nessuna garanzia per lʼapparecchio.

Se si desidera eliminare lʼapparecchio definitivamente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento ad unʼistituzione locale per il riciclaggio.

ATTENZIONE

Mai usare il megafono vicino allʼorecchio di altre persone! La voce amplificata o un fischio di feedback possono provocare dei danni allʼudito.

4 Messa in funzione

Il megafono può essere usato a scelta con batterie o può essere alimentato esternamente, p. es. tramite la rete 12 V di bordo di un automobile o tramite un alimentatore di 12 V. Collegando unʼalimentazione esterna, le batterie interne sono disattivate.

4.1 Inserire le batterie

1) Aprire la chiusura (4) e sollevare il coperchio del vano batterie (8).

2) Inserire nel vano batterie otto batterie di 1,5 V del tipo ½ torcia (C). Controllare la corretta polarità (vedi la stampa nel portabatterie).

3) Richiudere il vano batterie; ribaltare il coperchio (8) in alto e bloccarlo con la chiusura.

Se il megafono non viene utilizzato per un tempo prolungato (p. es. oltre una settimana) conviene togliere le batterie per evitare che perdano, danneggiando lʼapparecchio.

4.2 Alimentazione esterna

Per il collegamento con la presa dʼalimentazione DC 12 V (7) è richiesto uno spinotto di alimentazione DC ∅ 2,1/ 5,5 mm (diametro interno/esterno), con polarità positiva sul contatto interno. Un cavo di collegamento con un connettore per una presa per la tensione di bordo dellʼautomobile (accendisigari, contatto centrale positivo) è in dotazione. Usando la presa accendisigari, per garantire un buon contatto elettrico, controllare che non sia sporca di cenere. Eventualmente pulirla con un panno morbido, asciutto.

5 Funzionamento

1) Per parlare spostare il selettore (9) in posizione SPEAK. Il microfono può essere tenuto in mano o fissato sul retro del megafono. Parlare contro il lato anteriore del microfono (2) tenendo premuto uno dei due tasti voce (1). Il tasto sul microfono a mano può essere bloccato spingendolo in direzione della freccia. Allora il microfono rimane attivato. Tenere il microfono il più vicino possibile alla bocca.

2) Con il regolatore (3) impostare il volume. Se si manifesta un fischio di feedback, ridurre il regolatore in corrispondenza.

3) Per attivare la sirena o il fischio, spostare il selettore (9) risp. in posizione SIREN e WHISTLE e premere uno dei tasti voce (1).

1 Uitrusting

De TM-17 is een megafoon met hoog vermogen en met een handmicrofoon, en kan met batterijen of aangesloten op een externe voedingsspanning (b.v. boordcircuit van de auto) worden gebruikt. Hij heeft een piekvermogen van 25 W en beschikt over twee schakelbare signaaltonen.

3 Veiligheidsvoorschriften

Dit apparaat is in overeenstemming met alle relevante EU-Richtlijnen en is daarom met gekenmerkt.

Leg het apparaat niet op plaatsen met een hoge vochtigheid en vermijd uitzonderlijk warme plaatsen (toegestaan omgevingstemperatuurbereik: 0 – 40 °C).

Vermijd gebruik van het apparaat in de regen. Zorg dat er geen vocht in het apparaat binnendringt.

Gebruik voor de reiniging alleen een droge of licht bevochtigde doek. Gebruik in geen geval chemicaliën of agressieve reinigingsmiddelen.

In geval van ongeoorloofd gebruik, foutieve bediening of van herstelling door een niet-gekwalificeerd persoon vervalt de garantie en de aansprakelijkheid voor hieruit resulterende materiële of lichamelijke schade.

Wanneer het apparaat definitief uit bedrijf wordt genomen, bezorg het dan voor milieuvriendelijke verwerking aan een plaatselijk recyclagebedrijf.

OPGELET Gebruik de megafoon nooit in de buurt

van het oor van een andere persoon! Door de versterkte stem of door een terugkoppelingstoon zou dit tot gehoorschade kunnen leiden.

4 Ingebruikneming

De megafoon kan naar keuze gevoed worden door batterijen of door een externe voedingsbron, b.v. via het 12 V-boordnet van een motorvoertuig of een netadapter van 12 V.

Bij aansluiting van een externe voedingsspanning

worden de gebruikte batterijen uitgeschakeld.

4.1 De batterijen aanbrengen

1) Open het slot (4) en klap het deksel van het batterijvak (8) omhoog.

2) Plaats acht babybatterijen van 1,5 V (C) in het batterijvak. Let daarbij op de correcte polariteit (zie opdruk op het batterijvak).

3) Sluit het batterijvak opnieuw af; klap het deksel (8) omhoog en vergrendel met het slot.

Als de megafoon gedurende langere tijd niet wordt gebruikt (b.v. langer dan een week), moet u de batterijen eruit nemen. Zo vermijdt u schade door uitlopende batterijen.

4.2 Externe voedingsspanning

Voor de aansluiting op de voedingsjack DC12V (7) is een laagspanningsstekker ∅ 2,1/ 5,5 mm (binnen- / buitendiameter), met positieve polariteit aan het binnencontact nodig. Een verbindingssnoer met een stekker voor een boordspanningsstopcontact in het motorvoertuig (sigarettenaansteker, middencontact positief) is in de levering inbegrepen. Als u het sigarettenaanstekercontact gebruikt, moet u voor een goed elektrisch contact erop toezien dat het niet met as is verontreinigd. Maak zo nodig schoon met een zachte, droge doek.

5 Bediening

1) Om te spreken, schuift u de schakelaar (9) in de stand SPEAK. De microfoon kan in de hand worden gehouden of op de haak aan de achterzijde van de megafoon worden geplaatst. Spreek in het front van de microfoon (2) en houd hierbij een van beide spraaktoetsen (1) ingedrukt. U kunt de toets op de handmicrofoon vergrendelen door hem in de richting van de pijl te schuiven. De microfoon blijft dan ingeschakeld. Houd de microfoon zo dicht mogelijk voor de mond.

2) Stel met de regelaar (3) het gewenste geluidsvolume in. In geval van een terugkoppelingstoon draait u de regelaar overeenkomstig terug.

3) Om de sirene of de fluittoon in te schakelen, schuift u de schakelaar (9) in de stand SIREN of WHISTLE en drukt u op een spraaktoets (1).

1 Características

4 Puesta en Marcha

El megáfono puede funcionar con baterías o alimentado con corriente externa, p. ej. mediante el sistema eléctrico de 12 V de un coche o un alimentador de 12V.

Cuando conecte una alimentación externa, se des-

conectarán las baterías insertadas.

4.1 Insertar las Baterías

1) Abra el seguro (4) y la tapa del compartimento de la batería (8).

2) Inserte ocho baterías de 1,5 V de tipo C en el compartimento de la batería. Preste atención a la polaridad correcta (ver la impresión en el compartimento).

3) Cierre el compartimento de la batería; incline la tapa (8) hacia arriba y bloquéela con el seguro.

Si no va a utilizar el aparato durante un largo periodo de tiempo (p. ej. más de una semana), debería extraer las baterías para prevenir daños en el aparato por derrame.

4.2 Alimentación externa

Se necesita un conector de bajo voltaje ∅ 2,1 / 5,5 mm (diámetro interior/exterior) con polaridad positiva en el contacto interno para la conexión a una toma de alimentación DC 12 V (7). Con el megáfono se entrega un cable con un conector para el enchufe del sistema eléctrico del coche (el encendedor, contacto central positivo). Cuando utilice el enchufe del encendedor, asegúrese de que hay un buen contacto eléctrico y de que no hay restos de ceniza. Si es necesario, límpielo con un paño suave y seco.

5 Funcionamiento

4 Przygotowanie do pracy

Megafon może być zasilany z baterii lub zewnętrznie np. z 12 V systemu elektrycznego samochodu lub za pomocą 12 V zasilacza.

Po podłączeniu zewnętrznego zasilania, włożone

baterie zostają odłączone.

4.1 Wkładania baterii

1) Otworzyć zatrzask (4) i otworzyć pokrywę komory bateryjnej (8).

2) Umieścić osiem 1,5 V baterii rozmiaru C wewnątrz komory. Zwrócić uwagę na poprawną polaryzację (patrz nadruk w komorze).

W komplecie z urządzeniem dostarczany jest kabel do zasilania z systemu elektrycznego w samochodzie (z wtykiem do gniazda zapalniczki, środkowy styk dodatni). Przed podłączeniem kabla do gniazda zapalniczki sprawdzić czy nie jest ona zanieczyszczona popiołem. Jeżeli trzeba, wyczyścić ją za pomocą suchej, miękkiej ściereczki.

5 Obsługa

1) Aby nadać komunikat, ustawić przełącznik (9) na pozycję SPEAK. Mikrofon można trzymać w ręku lub przyczepić na tylnej stronie megafonu. Wkładka mikrofonowa znajduje się za otworami (2) na przedniej stronie mikrofonu. Podczas mówienia, przytrzymać wciśnięty jeden z przycisków talk (1). Przełącznik na mikrofonie doręcznym pozwala na zablokowanie po przesunięciu go zgodnie ze strzałką. Mikrofon pozostaje wówczas cały czas włączony. Mikrofon powinien znajdować się możliwie blisko ust.

2) Ustawić żądaną głośność regulatorem (3). W przypadku wystąpienia sprzężenia, skręcić odpowiednio regulator.

3) Aby włączyć sygnał syreny lub gwizd, ustawić przełącznik (9) na pozycję SIREN lub WHISTLE i wcisnąć przycisk talk (1).
