3 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Die Funkkameras AV-3031COL (Farbkamera) und
AV-3031CCD (Schwarzweißkamera) dienen in Verbindung mit einem 2,4-GHz-Empfänger der Serie
„AV-...“ von MONACOR und einem Monitor zur drahtlosen Video-Überwachung. Die Übertragungsreichweite hängt stark von den örtlichen Gegebenheiten
und dem verwendeten Empfänger ab. Bei Sichtverbindung zwischen Kamera und Empfänger kann sie
bis zu 500 m betragen. Sie reduziert sich aber durch
Wände und Decken in Gebäuden je nach deren
Beschaffenheit auf ca. 50 m. Durch die Verwendung
einer gewinnbringenden Antenne am Empfänger
kann die Reichweite jedoch um ein Mehrfaches
erhöht werden.
Die Kamera ist in einem wetterfesten Schutzgehäuse untergebracht und deshalb besonders für
den Außenbereich geeignet (Gehäuseschutzklasse
IP 65).
3.1 Konformität und Zulassung
Hiermit erklärt MONACOR INTERNATIONAL, dass
sich die Funkkameras AV-3031CCD und AV-3031COL
in Übereinstimmung mit den grundlegenden Anforderungen und den übrigen einschlägigen Betimmungen der Richtlinie 1995/ 5/ EG befinden.
Die Konformitätserklärung kann im Internet über
die Homepage von MONACOR INTERNATIONAL
(www.monacor.com) abgerufen werden.
Die Funkkameras sind für den Betrieb in den
EU- und EFTA-Staaten allgemein zugelassen und
anmelde- und gebührenfrei.
4 Inbetriebnahme
4.1 Einstellung des Sendekanals
Die Funkübertragung erfolgt im 2,4-GHz-Bereich, der
für diese Kameraserie in fünf Kanäle mit einem Abstand
von 14 MHz aufgeteilt wurde. Maximal können gleichzeitig drei Kanäle benutzt werden (Kanal 1, 3 und 5),
weil zwei direkt nebeneinander liegende Kanäle sich
stören. Bei zwei benötigten Kanälen gibt es mehrere
Kombinationsmöglichkeiten:
Kanal 1 mit Kanal 3, 4 oder 5
Kanal 2 mit Kanal 4 oder 5
Kanal 3 mit Kanal 5
Die Kamera ist ab Werk auf Kanal 1 (2,4145 GHz)
eingestellt. Bei Bedarf kann die Kanaleinstellung
geändert werden. Dazu zuerst das Sonnendach (5)
abnehmen.
Vorsicht: Das Antennenkabel nicht abreißen! Den
Gehäusedeckel (8) auf der Rückseite abschrauben
(vier Schrauben). Den Deckel mit dem Montageschlitten vorsichtig herausziehen (Abb. 2), sodass keine
Leitungen abreißen. Mit den DIP-Schaltern (6) auf
dem Sendemodul den Kanal einstellen:

Bei dem Zusammenschrauben darauf achten, dass
alle Dichtungen richtig sitzen, damit das Schutzgehäuse wieder wetterfest ist. Die beiden Dichtungsringe (7) gehen sehr leicht verloren.
4.2 Sendeantenne
Die beiliegende Rundstrahlantenne (3) in die Gewindebuchse des Kameraschutzgehäuses einschrauben
(siehe Abb. 1).
WICHTIG
Aus zulassungsrechtlichen Gründen nur die beiliegende Antenne verwenden. Beim Anschluss einer
anderen Antenne erlischt die Zulassung!
Soll die Kamera endgültig aus dem Betrieb
genommen werden, übergeben Sie sie zur
umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen
Recyclingbetrieb.

4.3 Platzierung von Kamera und Empfänger
Erfahrungen aus der Praxis haben gezeigt, dass ein
optimaler Empfang bei einer Aufstellung in einer
Höhe von mindestens 1,5 m bis 2 m über dem Boden
erreicht wird. Vor der endgültigen Montage sollte ein
Probebetrieb erfolgen, da bereits durch Verschieben
der Geräte um nur einige Zentimeter sich die Übertragungsqualität erheblich ändern kann.
Die beiliegende Kamerahalterung (2) an geeigneter Stelle montieren und darauf die Kamera festschrauben (siehe Abb. 1). Nach der Inbetriebnahme
die Kamera genau auf den Überwachungsbereich
ausrichten. Dazu die Feststellschraube (1) lösen und
nach dem Ausrichten wieder festziehen.
4.4 Stromversorgung
Zur Stromversorgung wird ein stabilisiertes Netzgerät
mit einer Ausgangsspannung von 12V und folgendem Dauerausgangsstrom benötigt:
AV-3031CCD: 300mA
AV-3031COL: 400 mA
Aus dem Sortiment von MONACOR können folgende
Geräte empfohlen werden:
PS-500ST für den Innenbereich oder
PS-12WP für den Außenbereich.
1) Bei Netzgeräten mit variabler Ausgangsspannung
diese auf 12 V einstellen.
2) Das Netzgerät über einen Kleinspannungsstecker
5,5/ 2,5 mm (Außen-/Innendurchmesser) an die
Kupplung (4) anschließen. Dabei unbedingt die
Polung beachten: den Pluspol an den Innenkon-
takt des Steckers anlegen.
3) Das Netzgerät an eine Steckdose (230 V~/50 Hz)
anschließen und ggf. einschalten. Die Kamera ist
damit eingeschaltet.

3 Applications
In combination with a 2.4 GHz receiver of the
AV-... series from MONACOR and a monitor, the wireless cameras AV-3031COL (colour camera) and
AV-3031CCD (black-and-white camera) serve for wireless video surveillance. The transmission range largely depends on the local conditions and the receiver
used. Without any obstacles between the camera and
the receiver, the maximum range may be 500m. In
buildings, however, it is reduced to approx. 50m by
walls and ceilings, depending on their condition. The
range can be increased several times over, however,
by using an antenna with gain on the receiver.
The camera is placed in a weatherproof housing
and is thus ideally suited for outdoor applications
(protection class of housing IP 65).
3.1 Conformity and Approval
Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declare that
the wireless cameras AV-3031CCD and AV-3031COL
are in accordance with the basic requirements
and the other relevant regulations of the directive
1995/ 5 /EC. The declaration of conformity can be
found in the Internet via the MONACOR INTERNATIONAL home page (www.monacor.com).
The wireless cameras are licence-free and
generally approved for operation in EU and EFTA
countries.
4 Operation
4.1 Adjusting the transmission channel
The wireless transmission is made in the 2.4 GHz
range which has been divided into five channels with
a distance of 14 MHz for this camera series. As a
maximum, three channels can be used simultaneously (channels 1, 3, and 5) as two adjacent channels will interfere with each other. If two channels are
required, several combinations are possible:
channel 1 with channel 3, 4, or 5
channel 2 with channel 4 or 5
channel 3 with channel 5
The camera is factory-set to channel 1 (2.4145 GHz).
If required, the channel adjustment can be modified.
For this purpose, remove the sunshield (5) first.
Caution: Do not tear off the antenna cable! Unscrew
the housing cover (8) on the rear side (four screws).
Carefully pull out the cover with the mounting slide
(fig. 2) without tearing off any leads. Adjust the channel on the transmitting module by means of the DIP
switches (6):

When assembling, ensure a tight fit of all sealings to
make the housing weatherproof again. The two sealing rings (7) will easily get lost.
4.2 Transmitting antenna
Screw the supplied omnidirectional antenna (3) into
the threaded jack of the weatherproof camera housing (see fig. 1).
IMPORTANT
For reasons of approval only use the supplied
antenna. If another antenna is connected, the approval will expire!
If the camera is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling plant
for a disposal which is not harmful to the
environment.

4.3 Placing the camera and the receiver
Practical experience has shown that an optimum reception is achieved when placing the units at a minimum height of 1.5 to 2 m above the ground. Prior to
final mounting, a trial run is recommended as the
transmission quality may substantially change when
displacing the units by a few centimetres only.
Mount the supplied camera bracket (2) at a suitable location and screw on the camera (see fig. 1).
After setting the camera into operation, precisely
adjust it to the area to be monitored. For this purpose,
release the locking screw (1) and retighten it after
adjusting.
4.4 Power supply
For power supply, a regulated power supply unit with
an output voltage of 12 V and the following constant
output current is required:
AV-3031CCD: 300 mA
AV-3031COL: 400 mA
From the MONACOR range, the following units are
recommended:
PS-500ST for indoor use or
PS-12WP for outdoor use
1) In case of power supply units with variable output
voltage, set the voltage to 12 V.
2) Connect the power supply unit to the inline jack (4)
by means of a low-voltage plug 5.5/ 2.5 mm (out-
side/ inside diameter). Always observe the correct
polarity: The positive pole must be at the inner
contact of the plug.
3) Connect the power supply unit to a mains socket
(230 V~ /50 Hz) and switch it on, if required. Thus,
the camera is switched on.

3 Possibilités d’utilisation
Combinées à un récepteur 2,4 GHz de la série
“AV-…” de MONACOR et à un moniteur, les caméras
sans fil AV-3031COL(caméra couleur) et AV-3031CCD
(caméra noir et blanc) servent pour une surveillance
vidéo sans fil. La portée de transmission dépend grandement de la configuration des lieux d’utilisation et du
récepteur utilisé. Elle peut aller jusqu’à 500 m lorsqu’il
n’y a pas d’obstacle entre la caméra et le récepteur.
Elle est réduite à 50 m dans des bâtiments selon la
composition des murs et plafonds. Si on utilise une
antenne avec gain sur le récepteur, la portée peut être
plusieurs fois augmentée.
La caméra est positionnée dans un boîtier de protection résistant aux intempéries et est donc spécialement adaptée à une utilisation en extérieur
(classe de protection du boîtier IP 65).
3.1 Conformité et autorisation
Par la présente, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL déclare que les caméras sans fil AV-3031CCD et
AV-3031COL se trouvent en conformité avec les exigences fondamentales et les autres réglementations
inhérentes à la directive 1995/ 5/CEE. Le certificat de
conformité peut être appelé via la page d’accueil
du site internet de MONACOR INTERNATIONAL
(www.monacor.com).
Les caméras sans fil sont autorisés pour un fonc-
tionnement dans les pays de l’Union Européenne et
de l’A.E.L.E et ne nécessitent pas de déclaration.
4 Fonctionnement
4.1 Réglage du canal d’émission
La transmission sans fil s’effectue dans la plage
2,4 GHz, divisée, pour cette gamme de caméras, en
cinq canaux avec un intervalle de 14 MHz. On peut
utiliser simultanément, au plus, 3 canaux (canal 1, 3
et 5), car deux canaux immédiatement consécutifs
interfèrent l’un avec l’autre. Il existe plusieurs possibilités de combinaisons si on a besoin de deux canaux :
Canal 1 avec canal 3, 4 ou 5
Canal 2 avec canal 4 ou 5
Canal 3 avec canal 5
La caméra est réglée en usine sur canal 1 (2,4145 GHz).
Si besoin, le réglage des canaux peut être modifié.
Pour ce faire, retirez le pare-soleil (5).
Attention : N’arrachez pas le câble d’antenne ! Dévissez le couvercle du boîtier (8) sur la face arrière
(quatre vis). Retirez avec précaution le couvercle
avec la glissière de montage (schéma 2) de telle sorte
qu’aucun câble ne soit arraché. Réglez le canal sur le
module émetteur avec les interrupteurs DIP (6) :

Lorsque vous revissez les différents éléments, veillez
à ce que touts les joints d’étanchéité soient bien à
leur place pour garantir l’étanchéité du boîtier de protection. On perd très facilement les deux anneaux
d’étanchéité (7).
4.2 Antenne émettrice
Vissez l’antenne omnidirectionnelle (3) livrée dans la
prise filetée du boîtier de protection de la caméra.
(voir schéma 1).
IMPORTANT
Utilisez uniquement l’antenne livrée pour respecter
les directives. Si vous branchez une autre antenne,
l’appareil perd son autorisation.
Lorsque la caméra est définitivement retirée
du service, vous devez la déposer dans une
usine de recyclage adaptée pour contribuer
à son élimination non polluante.

4.3 Placement de la caméra et du récepteur
L’expérience montre que la réception est optimale
pour un positionnement des appareils à une hauteur
de 1,5 m à 2 m au moins au-dessus du sol. Avant le
montage définitif, il est conseillé d’effectuer un test
car un déplacement de la caméra et du récepteur de
quelques centimètres uniquement peut modifier considérablement la qualité de transmission.
Montez le support de caméra livré (2) dans un
endroit approprié et vissez la caméra dessus (voir
schéma 1). Après la mise en fonction, orientez avec
précision la caméra sur la zone à surveiller. Pour ce
faire, desserrez la vis de réglage (1) et une fois le
réglage effectué, revissez.
4.4 Alimentation
Pour l’alimentation, un bloc secteur stabilisé avec une
tension de sortie de 12 V et un courant de sortie
permanent suivant est nécessaire:
AV-3031CCD : 300 mA
AV-3031COL : 400 mA
Dans la gamme MONACOR, on peut recommander
les appareils suivants :
PS-500ST pour l’intérieur ou
PS-12WP pour l’extérieur
1) Dans le cas de bloc secteur avec une tension de
sortie variable, réglez-la sur 12 V.
2) Reliez le bloc secteur via un adaptateur 5,5 /
2,5 mm (diamètre extérieur/intérieur) à la prise (4).
Veillez à respecter la polarité : le pôle plus est au
contact intérieur de la fiche.
3) Reliez le bloc secteur à une prise (230 V~/50 Hz)
et allumez-le, si besoin. La caméra est alors
allumée.

3 Possibilità d’impiego
Le telecamere wireless AV-3031COL (a colori) e
AV-3031CCD (in b/n), insieme ad un ricevitore di
2,4 GHz della serie “AV-...” di MONACOR e con
un monitor servono per la video sorveglianza senza
fili. La portata di trasmissione dipende fortemente
dalle condizioni locali e dal ricevitore usato. Nel caso
di assenza di ostacoli fra telecamera e ricevitore si
può arrivare fino a 500 m. Pareti e soffitti negli edifici
la riducono a 50 m ca. a seconda delle loro caratteristiche. Tuttavia, usando sul ricevitore un’antenna
con guadagno, la portata può essere aumentata più
volte.
La telecamera è sistemata in un contenitore resistente alle intemperie ed è adatta in particolar modo
per l’impiego all’esterno (protezione del contenitore
IP 65).
3.1
Conformità e omologazione
Con la presente, la MONACOR INTERNATIONAL
dichiara che le telecamere wireless AV-3031CCD e
AV-3031COL sono conforme ai requisiti fondamentali
ed alle altre prescrizioni in materia della direttiva
1995/ 5 /CE. La dichiarazione di conformità può
essere scaricata dal sito di MONACOR INTERNATIONAL (www.monacor.de).
Le telecamere wireless sono omologati general-
mente per l'uso negli stati dell’UE ed dell’EFTAe non
richiedono nessuna registrazione.
4 Messa in funzione
4.1 Impostazione del canale di trasmissione
La trasmissione senza fili avviene nel settore 2,4 GHz
che per la presente serie è stato suddiviso in cinque
canali a distanza di 14 MHz. Si possono utilizzare
contemporaneamente fino a 3 canali (canali 1, 3 e 5),
perché fra 2 canali a diretta vicinanza si creerebbero
delle interferenze. Se sono richiesti solo due canali,
esistono più possibilità di combinazione:
canale 1 con canale 3, 4 o 5
canale 2 con canale 4 o 5
canale 3 con canale 5
La telecamera presenta dalla fabrica il canale 1
(2,4145 GHz). Se necessario, l’impostazione dei
canali può essere modificata. Per fare ciò togliere
prima il parasole (5).
Attenzione: Non strappare il cavo dell’antenna! Svitare il coperchio (8) sul retro del contenitore (quattro
viti). Sfilare delicatamente il coperchio insieme alla
slitta di montaggio (fig. 2), in modo da non strappare
dei fili. Con i DIP-switch (6) sul modulo di trasmissione si può impostare il canale:
canale 1 canale 2 canale 3 canale 4 canale 5
Durante il riassemblaggio fare attenzione alla tenuta
corretta di tutte le guarnizioni perché il contenitore
rimanga resistente alle intemperie. Le due guarnizioni
(7) si perdono molto facilmente.
4.2 Antenna di trasmissione
Avvitare l’antenna onnidirezionale (3) in dotazione
nella filettatura del contenitore (vedi fig. 1).
IMPORTANTE
Per motivi di omologazione si deve usare solo l’antenna in dotazione. Collegando un’altra antenna,
l’omologazione non sarà più valida!
Se si desidera eliminare la telecamera definitivamente, consegnarla per lo smaltimento
ad un’istituzione locale per il riciclaggio.

4.3 Posizionamento della telecamera e del
ricevitore
L’esperienza pratica ha dimostrato che si ottiene una
ricezione ottimale posizionando gli apparecchi ad
un’altezza di non meno di 1,5 m a 2 m dal pavimento.
Prima del montaggio definitivo conviene fare delle
prove, perché uno spostamento degli apparecchi di
pochi centimetri può modificare notevolmente la qualità di trasmissione.
Montare il supporto in dotazione della telecamera
(2) in un posto adatto e avvitare su di esso la telecamera (vedi fig. 1). Dopo la messa in funzione orientare la telecamera esattamente sulla zona da sorvegliare. Per fare ciò allentare la vite di bloccaggio (1) e
stringerla di nuovo al termine dell’orientamento.
4.4 Alimentazione
Per l’alimentazione è richiesto un alimentatore stabilizzato con tensione d’uscita di 12 V e con la seguente
corrente permanente all’uscita:
AV-3031CCD: 300mA
AV-3031COL: 400 mA
Dal programma di MONACOR si possono consigliare
i seguenti apparecchi:
PS-500ST per interni oppure
PS-12WP per l’esterno.
1) Nel caso di alimentatori con tensione d’uscita
variabile, impostare 12 V.
2) Collegare l’alimentatore con la presa (4) per
mezzo di uno spinotto per alimentazione DC 5,5/
2,5 mm (diametro esterno /interno) rispettando as-
solutamente la corretta polarità: portare il positivo
sul contatto interno dello spinotto.
3) Collegare l’alimentatore con una presa di rete
(230 V~/50 Hz) e accenderlo eventualmente. Così,
anche la telecamera è accesa.
