1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten

Der MMX-4 ist ein Miniatur-Mischpult für vier Mono-Mikrofone, deren Signale gemischt und auf Line-Pegel verstärkt werden.

2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch

Das Gerät entspricht allen relevanten Richtlinien der EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.

Setzen Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbereich ein. Schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40°C).

Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes, weiches Tuch, niemals Chemikalien oder Wasser.

Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, falsch bedient oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann keine Garantie für das Gerät und keine Haftung für daraus resultierende Sachoder Personenschäden übernommen werden.

3 Stromversorgung

Die Stromversorgung kann mit einer 9-V-Blockbatterie er folgen oder mit einem 9-V-Netzgerät (z. B. PSS-906DC von MONACOR).

1) Für den Batteriebetrieb das Batteriefach an der Unterseite des Gerätes aufschrauben und eine Batterie (nicht im Lieferumfang) einsetzen.

2) Für den Betrieb mit einem Netzgerät dieses an die Buchse 9 V (3) anschließen. Eine eingesetzte Batterie wird dabei abgeschaltet. Es wird ein Kleinspannungsstecker 5,5 / 2,1 mm (Außen- / Innendurchmesser) benötigt. Unbedingt auf die richtige Polung achten: Am Mittelkontakt muss sich der Pluspol befinden!

Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben Sie es zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

MMX-4

Achtung! Entfernen Sie die Batterie, wenn das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzt oder nur mit einem Netzgerät betrieben wird. Dadurch werden Beschädigungen des Gerätes bei einem eventuellen Auslaufen der Batterie vermieden.

4 Bedienung

1) Die Mikrofone an die Buchsen INPUT 1 – 4 (1) anschließen.

2) Die Buchse OUTPUT (2) mit einem Line-Eingang des nachfolgenden Gerätes (Verstärker, Mischpult, Aufnahmegerät) verbinden.

3) Die Regler MIC 1 – 4 (4) der Kanäle, an denen kein Gerät angeschlossen ist, auf „0“ stellen. Die anderen Regler zunächst in die Mittelstellung drehen.

4) Das Gerät durch Rechtsdrehen des Reglers MASTER (5) einschalten. Die Anzeige ON PK (6) leuchtet erst kurz mit maximaler Helligkeit auf und dann mit geringerer Helligkeit weiter.

5) Mit dem Regler MASTER den Ausgangspegel einstellen, sodass das nachfolgende Gerät optimal ausgesteuert ist.

6) Die Mikrofonsignale mit den Reglern MIC 1 – 4 mischen oder ein- und ausblenden. Die Anzeige ON PK dient dabei als Aussteuerungskontrolle.

4-Channel Microphone Mixer

Please read these operating instructions carefully prior to operating the unit and keep them for later reference.

1 Applications

The MMX-4 is a miniature mixer for four mono microphones whose signals are mixed and amplified to line level.

2 Important Notes

The unit corresponds to all relevant directives of the EU and is therefore marked with .

The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it against dripping water and splash water, high air humidity and heat (admissible ambient temperature range 0 – 40°C).

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use chemicals or water.

No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for any resulting personal damage or material damage will be accepted if the unit is used for other purposes than originally intended, if it is not correctly operated or not repaired in an expert way.

3 Power Supply

The power supply can be made with a 9 V battery or a 9 V power supply unit (e. g. PSS-906DC from MONACOR).

1) For battery operation, unscrew the battery compartment at the lower side of the unit and insert a battery (not supplied).

2) For operation with a power supply unit connect the power supply unit to the jack 9 V (3). If a battery has been inserted, it is switched off. A low voltage plug 5.5 / 2.1 mm (outside / inside diameter) is required. Always observe the correct polarity: The positive pole must be at the centre contact!

If the unit is to be put out of operation definitively, take it to a local recycling plant for a disposal which is not harmful to the environment.

MMX-4

Attention! Remove the battery if the unit is not in use for a longer time or if it is only operated with a power supply unit. Thus, the unit will not be damaged in case the battery should leak.

4 Operation

1) Connect the microphones to the jacks INPUT 1 to 4 (1).

2) Connect the jack OUTPUT (2) to a line input of the following unit (amplifier, mixer, recorder).

3) Set the controls MIC 1 – 4 (4) of the channels to which no unit has been connected to “0”. Set the other controls to mid-position first.

4) To switch on the unit, turn the control MASTER (5) clockwise. The LED ON PK (6) shortly lights up at maximum brightness first and then keeps lighting at lower brightness.

5) Adjust the output level with the control MASTER so that the following unit is adjusted to an optimum level.

6) Mix the microphone signals with the controls MIC 1 – 4 or fade them in and out. The LED ON PK serves as a level indicator.

1 Possibilités dʼutilisation

La MMX-4 est une table de mixage miniature pour 4 microphones mono dont les signaux sont mixés et amplifiés à un niveau ligne.

2 Conseils dʼutilisation et de sécurité

Lʼappareil répond à toutes les directives nécessaires de lʼUnion européenne et porte donc le symbole .

Lʼappareil nʼest conçu que pour une utilisation en intérieur. Protégez-le des éclaboussures, de tout type de projections dʼeau, dʼune humidité élevée de lʼair et de la chaleur (température ambiante admissible 0 – 40 °C).

Pour le nettoyage, utilisez un chiffon sec et doux, en aucun cas de produits chimiques ou dʼeau.

Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dommages matériels ou corporels résultants si lʼappareil est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour lequel il a été conçu, sʼil nʼest pas correctement utilisé ou réparé par une personne habilitée ; en outre, la garantie deviendrait caduque.

3 Alimentation

Lʼalimentation peut sʼeffectuer via une batterie 9 V ou un bloc secteur 9 V (par exemple PSS-906DC de MONACOR).

1) Pour un fonctionnement sur batterie, dévissez le compartiment batterie sur la face inférieure de lʼappareil et insérez une batterie (non livrée).

2) Pour un fonctionnement avec un bloc secteur, reliez ce dernier à la prise 9 V (3). Si une batterie est insérée,

elle est déconnectée. Une fiche basse tension 5,5 / 2,1 mm (diamètre extérieur / intérieur) est nécessaire. Veillez à respecter la polarité : le pôle plus doit se trouver au contact médian.

Attention ! Retirez la batterie en cas de non utilisation prolongée de lʼappareil ou si lʼappareil fonctionne uniquement avec un bloc secteur de manière à éviter que la batterie ne coule et nʼendommage lʼappareil.

4 Utilisation

1) Reliez les microphones aux prises INPUT 1 – 4 (1).

2) Reliez la prise OUTPUT (2) à une entrée Ligne de lʼappareil suivant (amplificateur, table de mixage, enregistreur).

3) Mettez les réglages MIC 1– 4 (4) des canaux auxquels aucun appareil nʼest relié, sur “0”. Dans un premier temps, tournez les autres réglages sur la position médiane.

4) Allumez lʼappareil en tournant vers la droite le réglage MASTER (5). La LED ON PK (6) brille tout dʼabord brièvement avec une luminosité maximale puis avec une luminosité plus faible.

5) Avec le réglage MASTER, réglez le niveau de sortie pour que lʼappareil suivant soit géré de manière optimale.

6) Mixez les signaux micro avec les réglages MIC 1 – 4 ou faites-les entrer et sortir. La LED ON PK sert dʼindicateur de niveau.

1 Possibilità dʼimpiego

MMX-4 è un mixer mini per quattro microfoni mono, i cui segnali vengono miscelati e amplificati al livello Line.

2 Avvertenze importanti per lʼuso

Lʼapparecchio è conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti dellʼUE e pertanto porta la sigla .

Usare lʼapparecchio solo allʼinterno di locali. Proteggerlo dallʼacqua gocciolante e dagli spruzzi dʼacqua, da alta umidità dellʼaria e dal calore (temperatura dʼimpiego ammessa fra 0 e 40 °C).

Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto; non impiegare in nessun caso acqua o prodotti chimici.

Nel caso dʼuso improprio, dʼimpiego scorretto o di riparazione non a regola dʼarte dellʼapparecchio, non si as sume nessuna responsabilità per eventuali danni consequenziali a persone o a cose e non si assume nessuna garanzia per lʼapparecchio.

3 Alimentazione

Lʼalimentazione può essere fatta con una batteria transistor di 9 V oppure tramite un alimentatore a 9 V (p. es. PSS906DC di MONACOR).

1) Per il funzionamento con batteria, svitare il vano batteria sul lato inferiore dellʼapparecchio e inserire una batteria (non in dotazione).

2) Per il funzionamento con un alimentatore, collegarlo con la presa 9 V (3). Una batteria inserita viene disattivata in questo caso. È richiesto uno spinotto per alimentazione DC 5,5 / 2,1 mm (diametro esterno / interno). Rispettare

Se si desidera eliminare lʼapparecchio definitivamente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento ad unʼistituzione locale per il riciclaggio.

assolutamente la corretta polarità: sul contatto centrale si deve trovare il polo positivo!

Attenzione! Togliere la batteria se lʼapparecchio non viene usato per un certo periodo o se viene usato solo con lʼalimentatore. Così si esclude il danneggiamento dellʼapparecchio in seguito alla batteria che perde.

4 Funzionamento

1) Collegare i microfoni con le prese INPUT 1 – 4 (1).

2) Collegare la presa OUTPUT (2) con lʼingresso Line dellʼapparecchio a valle (amplificatore, mixer, registratore).

3) Portare sullo “0” i regolatori MIC 1 – 4 (4) dei canali ai quali non è collegato nessun apparecchio. Portare momentaneamente gli altri regolatori in posizione centrale.

4) Accendere lʼapparecchio girando a destra il regolatore MASTER (5). Lʼindicazione ON PK (6) si ac cende brevemente con la massima luminosità e rimane quindi accesa con luminosità ridotta.

5) Con il regolatore MASTER impostare il livello dʼuscita, cosicché che lʼapparecchio a valle sia regolato in modo ottimale.

6) Con i regolatori MIC 1 – 4, miscelare i segnali dei microfoni o eseguire delle dissolvenze in e out. Lʼindicazione ON PK serve in questo caso come aiuto nella regolazione.
