ISTRUZIONI PER L´USO

Leggere prima dell´uso!

Questo mixer stereo, versione compatta, è stato
realizzato per il collegamento di 4 microfoni mono,
da distribuire mediante panpot sulla somma stereo.
Dato l’ottimo rapporto segnale/disturbo, si presta
anche come pre-mixer per un mixer grande, p. es.
quando si tratta di raccogliere un coro di fondo o nel
caso di tavole rotonde con molti microfoni singoli.
Inoltre, il presente mixer compatto può essere usato
come mixer ad alto livello; infatti, ogni ingresso
viene automaticamente commutato su LINE se non
è collegato con un microfono.

Per la somma sono previsti un commutatore stereo/
mono ed un regolatore master.
L’alimentazione avviene con una batteria 9 V oppure
con un alimentatore esterno di 9 V DC. Il livello di
uscita di 0 dB (0,775 V) è sufficiente per la maggior
parte degli amplificatori finali; comunque, si pos­sono prelevare fino a 1,5 V (+6 dB) max.

Messa in funzione

Dopo aver inserito la batteria 9 V nel vano batteria
sul fondo (oppure dopo aver collegato l’alimenta­tore esterno 9 V DC -spina DC con polo positivo
sull’anello esterno), si collegano i 4 microfoni mono

1000 Ω) alle prese jack 1-4.

Le prese di uscita cinch OUTPUT LEFT e RIGHT sono
da collegare con l’ingresso di un amplificatore
stereo finale oppure con l’ingresso LINE di un altro
mixer.
Se una presa per micro rimane libera, il relativo
ingresso viene passato automaticamente alla presa
cinch vicina.
Al posto di un microfono si può collegare, con una
spina cinch, un segnale mono di alto livello, e ovvia­mente si possono sostituire 2 microfoni con un seg­nale stereo LINE (p. es. di un registratore a cassette).
Occorre tuttavia fare attenzione alla corretta rego­lazione dei relativi PANPOT: quello del canale di sini­stra tutto a sinistra, quello del canale di destra tutto
a destra.
A questo punto si accende l’apparecchio con l’inter­ruttore POWER. Il led BATTERY non si accende, in
quanto serve a controllare l’alimentazione. Se la
batteria è in buono stato, il led deve accendersi se si
preme il pulsante “Battery test” sul retro dell’appa­recchio.
Con i preregolatori CHANNEL 1

4 e con il rego­latore MASTER si regola il volume. Con il panpot si
può spostare il segnale di un microfono fra i canali
stereo di sinistra e di destra. Se il microfono si trova
nel centro dell’evento sonoro, anche il panpot si tro­verà in posizione centrale (commutatore MONO/
STEREO su STEREO).

MICROPHONE/LINE MIXER

INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Please read before using!

This compact 4-channel mixing console is designed
for mixing 4 mono microphones or line sources to a
stereo output.
With its excellent signal/noise-ratio it is ideal for use
as a submixer in combination with a larger mixing
console, for example on stage, if drum-sets are
picked up with several microphones, or for con­ference rooms.
Often there are long distances between micro­phones and mixer. Then hum and noise problems
can be solved, if MMX-24 is used as a preamplifier,
close to the microphones.
If the 6.3 mm MIC-input jack of a channel is not used,
the input is automatically switched to LINE sensiti­vity.
Then LINE SIGNAL sources can be connected to the
CINCH inputs.
The stereo balance of each channel can be control­led by a PANPOT.
The mixer is equipped with a STEREO MASTER
CONTROL to adjust the output level, and with an
additional switch to select between MONO or
STEREO MODE.
MMX-24 can be supplied by a 9 V transistor battery
or an external power supply.
The maximum output level is 1.5 V (+6 dB), which is
sufficient for most power amplifiers.

Operation

After providing the supply by inserting a 9 V battery
into the battery compartment on the bottom-side of
the mixer, or by connecting a suitable external
power supply to the DC jack on the rear panel

), the mixer is ready for use.

For a STEREO-LINE-SIGNAL two input channels are
needed, one PAN-POT is set to the left, the other one
to the right side.
The master outputs can be connected to the input of
a power amplifier or to the line inputs of any other
device like mixing consoles, graphic equalizers,
effectors.
If all installations are finished the mixer can be
switched on. The battery LED indicates the condition
of the 9 V battery, if the small push-button switch on
the rear panel is depressed.

Dieses Stereo-Mischpult in sehr kompakter Aus­führung ist speziell zum Anschluß von 4 Mono­Mikrofonen ausgelegt, die mittels Panorama-Reg­lern (Panpots) auf eine Stereo-Summe verteilt
werden.
Durch den hohen Signal/Rauschabstand eignet es
sich auch gut als Vormischpult für ein großes Misch­pult, etwa zum Zusammenfassen eines Background­Chores oder bei großen Tischrunden mit vielen Ein­zelmikrofonen.
Darüber hinaus kann dieses Kompaktpult jedoch
auch als Hochpegel-Mischpult benutzt werden,
denn jeder Eingang wird automatisch auf LINE­Pegel-Eingang umgeschaltet, sofern kein Mikrofon
aufgesteckt ist.
Für die Summe sind ein Stereo/Mono-Schalter und
ein Masterregler eingebaut.
Die Stromversorgung erfolgt aus einer eingesetzten
9 V-Transistor-Batterie oder aus einer externen 9V­Gleichspannungsversorgung.
Der Ausgangspegel von 0 dB (0,775 V) ist für die mei­sten Endverstärker ausreichend, es können bis maxi­mal 1,5 V (+6 dB) entnommen werden.

Inbetriebnahme

Nach Einsetzen einer 9 V-Transistorbatterie in das
Batteriefach auf der Geräteunterseite oder An­schluß eines 9 V-Netzteils (DC-Stecker mit +Pol am
Außenring) werden die Mono-Mikrofone (200

1000 Ω) mit Klinkensteckern an die Eingangsbuch­sen 1 bis 4 angeschlossen.

Die Ausgangs-Cinchbuchsen OUTPUT LEFT und
RIGHT werden mit dem Eingang eines Stereo-End­verstärkers oder mit dem LINE-Eingang eines weite­ren Mischpultes verbunden.
Sofern eine Mikrofonbuchse nicht besteckt ist, wird
der entsprechende Eingang automatisch auf die
daneben liegende LINE-Eingangs-Cinchbuchse um­geschaltet.
Es kann anstelle eines Mikrofons ein Hochpegel­Monosignal mit Cinchstecker angeschlossen wer­den, selbstverständlich auch anstelle von 2 Mikrofo­nen ein Stereo-LINE-Signal (z. B. Cassettenspieler).
Dabei ist jedoch darauf zu achten, daß die dazu­gehörigen PANPOTS richtig eingestellt werden: Pan­pot des linken Kanals ganz links, Panpot des rechten
Kanals ganz nach rechts.
Nach Beschaltung wird das Gerät mit dem Schalter
POWER eingeschaltet, dabei leuchtet die LED BAT­TERY nicht auf. Sie dient vielmehr zur Überprüfung
der Stromversorgung:
Bei intakter Batterie muß sie aufleuchten, wenn die
auf der Geräterückseite angeordnete Batterie-Test­taste betätigt wird.
Je nach Lautstärke werden die Vorregler CHANNEL

4 sowie der dazugehörige Summenregler MASTER
entsprechend eingestellt.
Je nach gewünschtem Raumeindruck wird mit dem
Panoramaregler das Signal eines Mikrofons mehr
auf den linken Stereo-Ausgang oder mehr auf den
rechten verteilt. Steht das Mikrofon in der Mitte des
Klanggeschehens, so wird auch sein Panoramaregler
in Mittelstellung stehen. (MONO/STEREO-Schaltung
auf Stellung STEREO).

La MMX-24 est une table de mixage proposée en
version compacte, spécialement conçue pour mixer
4 MICROS mono sur une sortie stéréo grâce aux
réglages de panoramique PANPOTS. Son rapport
signal/bruit élevé lui permet de servir de prémixer
pour une table plus importante, par exemple pour
regrouper un choeur en arrière-fond ou un tour de
table important avec de nombreux micros person­nels. En outre, elle peut être utilisée comme table de
mixage haut niveau car chaque entrée est com­mutée automatiquement sur une entrée niveau
LINE si aucun micro n’est branché.

La sortie dispose d’un réglage de niveau MASTER et
d’un commutateur STEREO/MONO.
L’alimentation se fait soit par une pile 9 V soit par
une alimentation stabilisée 9 V DC externe. Le
niveau de sortie de 0 dB (0,775 V) est suffisant pour
la majorité des entrées d’amplificateurs de puis­sance: Sortie jusqu’à 1,5 V (+6 dB).

MODE D’EMPLOI

Mettre la pile dans le compartiment prévu à cet effet
sur la face arrière de l’appareil ou reliez l’appareil à
une alimentation secteur 9 V DC stabilisée (fiche DC
avec pôle + sur l’extérieur). Reliez ensuite les micros
MONO (200

-

1000 Ω) sur les prises JACK 6,3 des ent-

rées 1 à 4.
Les prises de sortie RCA droite et gauche OUTPUT
LEFT & RIGHT doivent être reliées à l’entrée d’un
amplificateur de puissance STEREO ou à l’entrée
LINE d’une autre table.

Dans la mesure où une prise JACK 6,3 MICRO n’est
pas utilisée, l’entrée correspondante est utilisable en
LINE par la prise RCA automatiquement (Jack avec
coupure).
A la place d’un micro, une source mono de niveau
LINE peut être reliée à la fiche RCA; de même, à la
place de deux micros, on peut connecter une source
stéréo de niveau LINE (Par exemple: un lecteur de
cassettes ou de CD).
Veillez cependant à ce que les potentiomètres soient
correctement réglés:
panpot du canal gauche : à gauche
panpot du canal droit : à droite

Allumez ensuite l’appareil avec l’interrupteur ON/
OFF: la diode de fonctionnement de la batterie ne
s’allume pas. Elle permet de vérifier l’alimentation
secteur. Si la batterie est en bon état, elle doit briller
lorsque la touche TEST de la batterie, située sur la
face arrière, est enfoncée.

Réglez les potentiomètres des canaux 1 à 4 et de la
sortie MASTER selon le volume souhaité. Selon le
volume de la pièce, réglez le panoramique d’un
micro soit plus sur la sortie STEREO gauche soit plus
sur celle de droite. Si le micro est au milieu, son
réglage de panoramique doit également être au
milieu (commutateur MONO/STEREO sur STEREO).
